Greatness could mean the simple life and not conforming to this world. Many people chase everything but inner peace. If you can’t sit with yourself in a room (meditating), and constantly run from your own thoughts and emotions then you are poor.

I wish I knew then what I know now! I let so many wonderful opportunities pass me by, always believing I’d have many more. Instill in your children the need to pounce when it strikes. Teach them the importance of the 48 laws. Teach them to save a little, every paycheck, for decades. My 2 cents while reading these laws and now in my mid 40s, realizing my mistakes.

He quit his job as an accountant and used his savings to buy a small farm and planted peaches. It took 3 years to grow now he makes 6 figures a year from the peach farm. I wish I could find the video to show you. Right now I'm 28 and haven't achieved anything. Plus, fear is not necessarily an unbeatable monster, true, you can't completely defeat it because we all have fears, even the strongest men. But we can most certainly tame it, tame the fear, and control it, not easy I know, hard af but it's necessary to change

My favorite law of all. It can be applied anywhere, everywhere. You don't need to wait to be bold. You can be bold right here, right now.
If you're struggling, try it on very basic things. Mundane things. What are you having for breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Where do you want to go for a walk today? Just pick something, do something, and do it. That's boldness.
What's your biggest fear? Conquer it. Don't be timid. Just conquer it. Don't procrastinate. Just conquer it. That's boldness.
Are you afraid of rejection? Go out there and put yourself out there! Get rejected once? Do it again! Get rejected twice? DO it again! Don't give up. Thomas Edison took 1,000 attempts to make the light bulb. That's boldness.

"I want to fit in. They might not like me. This might be too different. My manga story might not be like other people" are many of the traps I fall into often. But it was in my "all is lost" moment when I had the triggering idea and started to work on becoming a great manga author by shutting all the noise from the outside of "I should be this and that to stop being an invisible failure". I'm learning to let that noise talk their shit, but not for so long that it runs wild and muds my awareness of what's the real treasure.
