How do we stay real in a pandemic, rid ourselves of disease and still experience love when we can't connect?"
"Post Malone" recently did a benefit show for world health organization. My Wife and I loved his cover so much that we were inspired to make a video.
I hacked a "canon EOS M" and shot the video in raw. I recently discovered magic lantern and learned everything I know from the amazing "zeek" on youtube. Checkout his channel at / @zeekeosz

This event will raise funds for The United Nations Foundation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for The World Health Organization (WHO) in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Another fellow Nova Scotia EOS-M shooter nice! :) I was super surprised to come across your video on RUclips when I was doing my daily search for new EOSM Magic Lantern videos. What kind of glass are you shooting on mostly? I keep thinking about getting some Canon FD's and a speedbooster. I don't really have many lens at the moment. A Fujian 35mm/f1.7, 18-55mm kit lens, 2 minolta MC mounts 28mm f2.8/50mm f1.7 and a sigma 50-200mm and also a 10-18mm EF-S. I just picked up a Feelworld F5 pro last week so I can finally get focus easier. I got a cheap steadicam stabilizer. Probably the most impressive thing I have is my giant heavy duty Davis & Sanford Provista 7518 Tripod with FM18 fluid head (which I might have used once).
True! Same jere was surprised to see you shooting with it in NS. Beautiful province for the eos-m though am I right? Beem shooting with FD glass and have a speedbooster from pixco on the way. Got a shoulder rig from neewer and I think that will be my main go-to. Happy shooting. I'm deep into it now and learning a ton about exposure and colour grading. Lots of fun!!!
@@coreyallan-audiovideo You still shooting with the EOSM guy? I finally got an external monitor that seems to be working pretty good in 5k frtp/1080p and even some of the 1:1 modes. Just need to get a cage and side/top handles and I'll be set. I really want to get some FD glass and that same speedbooster. Did you end up getting your speedbooster?

we gave this one a little boost with google ads but honestly, not super worth it. We posted it to post malone facebook pages and a few reddit threads. give it a shot! all the best.
Little CC, colour and cinematography was decent, try time your transitions to the music, switch shit up, take more time to film the same scene from different angles and blend it so you can switch angles with drum beats. etc, yeah its a ball ache to do if you're a one man filmer but it'll be worth it. Good job otherwise.
Thanks for the comment. I actually like the timing, coverage and how it gels up to the music quite a lot 😄 And feels like natural footage. One thing I would have improved in retrospect would be to add a polarizing filter. Going with a raw lens blew out some of the highlights. All good though because it doesnt affect the vibe and shows that this camera is a beast like none-other.
