that refurb is FIRE! I love the white on black look throughout the head, shaft, and grip....looks excellent. I love the way that Cerakote finish looks, great work!
It was beautiful banged up and now it’s absolute classic. I’m an all black guy, always have been always will be. That’s so rad I’m actually blown away. Great job my guy. Bravissimo.
@@igolf906 I sent my Scotty squareback to the custom shop for some stamping and some color. I’d say if you picked up stamping you’d have a leg up on the custom studio. Taking in clients would probably be a drag but I paid an embarrassing amount of money for it and I gotta be honest, your work is comparable and maybe even better than the custom shop. They’re not refinishing putters like this. You could make a killing opening up a custom shop. I’m sure you’ve heard it before. This is just amazing.
Thanks. Ill be the first to say that even after 40+ videos I really am not creative at all in a sense of videography. Really don't know what I'm doing, and my shop space doesn't really allow me to do much else. Well figure it out someday.
This was originally mine. Being an avid Nike club collector I was so sad when I received it with the untitized shaft cut off. Glad to see what was done with the head
Yes these are unitized "one" piece putters. This head was cut off prior to me purchasing so I fabricated a shaft to fit. The cerakote is a two part coating. Was mixed with the hardener.
It was awesome to see this putter brought back to life. Would you happen to be selling this by any chance? I may potentially be interested in buying if you are.
I bought this with full intentions on gaming it but, in the meantime realized a toe hang blade is not for me. Been playing mid mallets since. So someone offered a very good price for it already
@ashleighblackbourn2707 I've done them with less. I just use a little more to dial in the spray gun prior to coating. I take my gun apart after every spray, so need to make adjustments afterwards.
i just saw the white painted on the nike. i couldnt tell if he painted or grinded the face at all besides that sinces its not super clear. thanks for the reply though shmirginhymer
lol ok thanks. somehow i missed that and rewound the middle part of the video like ten times thinking i missed in there😂 great work though, this looks incredible@@igolf906
Absolutely stunning, forget Scottys, that’s the leader right there ❤❤❤

Thank you!
In my opinion best putter yet!
I have a thing for Nike putters!
This one definitely had a different vibe!

Killer restore!
Thanks!

I can only add to the appreciative comments. Wonderful work! For video production value consider the background onthe reveal. Love your work.

It sure was! With a bit of fab work it turned out great! I've done a few so far similar.
So sick! This turned out incredible.
Thanks man! Makes me want to branch out into other putters more often. Just need to find the time.
Absolutely love it!
Thanks!
Looks so so good. And clean! Unless I missed it, did you get the headweight before attaching to the shaft?
I believe I did but, honestly can't remember.
This epic. I have this exact putter but it’s seamless. Looks like shaft and head is all one (no join)? Also what did you mix the cerakote with? Thanks

I have one, this is the only putter that actually looks like Tiger's actual putter, in my opinion ❤
Awesome work bro 👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you!

Planned on keeping this one but someone already made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
@@igolf906 that’s awesome, I’m happy for you man! 👊
WOW WOW WOW!!!!
😁
Sick
Dude!! I want you to make me one of these!!
If you have the putter, we can talk about it!
Great work! What type of wheel do you use on the grinder?
Its a convolute/deburring wheel. Check my description for where to get them.
What can I do to get the paint off my Nike putter?
The paintfill? Easiest way is soak in acetone.
where did you get the nike stickers from? made by you?
Ebay or Etsy. Don't remember which I've bought stickers from both.
that thing is so sweet. are you gonna game it???
I bought this with full intentions on gaming it but, in the meantime realized a toe hang blade is not for me. Been playing mid mallets since. So someone offered a very good price for it already
I need my unitized techno mallet looking like this.
Did you cut the shaft of the original putter?
The shaft was already cut by someone when I bought it. So I fabbed the new shaft to fit.
@@igolf906 looks great! What kind of paint did you use for the logos?
@@jaysondenison8958 Tamiya acrylic
what did you do for the shaft? do you have a bigger oven?
At 6:06 in the video, explained how it's an air cure Cerakote. Doesn't need to be baked.
@@igolf906 Yesss I just seen that as I rewatched the video I can’t read 🤦🏻♂️
@@Eclipsed_Trix 😄 No problem.
How did you get that Nike decal on the shaft?
Is just a sticker.
I want this
What black ceracoat is that?
Graphite Black
@igolf906 is 19 grams of cerakote generally enough to coat a putter head?
@ashleighblackbourn2707 I've done them with less. I just use a little more to dial in the spray gun prior to coating. I take my gun apart after every spray, so need to make adjustments afterwards.
The Nike venom
did you do anything to the face of the putter?
This comment shows you didn't even watch the video.

Yes the face was remilled. About 20 seconds into the video I mentioned it.
