@@JoshShare I cannot say I have NOT disliked any of your videos your content is very well thought out and presented in an interesting manner! So I think anything you post will be good!
I’m a master BMW tech at a dealership. I show up at 6:45am every day. Everyone else get there at 8:15. It’s a good way to be successful and stand out. 🤘
Dude I needed this I’m a Hyundai tech and I’m so burnt out on shit warrenty pay and a customer base that doesn’t want to buy. Porsche was always my goal and I never thought I’d be able to make a jump from Hyundai to anything more.
It's funny because I watched your video being a mechanic in 2019 two years later I almost got two years at volvo and want to be in a similar position as you thank you for the motivation!
Hi Josh! Great video, and amazing channel you’ve got here. I wondered if I could ask your honest opinion, I’m applying for an Apprentice Technician role at Ferrari here in the uk, my only concern is that I have a lot of head and some face tattoos, would such a prestigious company be open to someone like me for a non customer facing role? I’m willing to have them removed for an opportunity there of course. Have a great day man!
Hey does anyone know exactly or even an estimate on how much it cost to get a hemi tick repaired from a mechanic or even the dealer?? I’m looking everywhere online and can’t find
Hyundai tech here… I’ve been trying to jump over to either Tesla or a higher end brand and the interviews always go well but they constantly ask about manufactured certifications and or ase… but the way I see it is that I can handle all the diag anything from noise to ac to high voltage and can communication but they still say I need it. Is there no way around it without getting them?
I couldn't agree more, i was laughing actually as you started because the job I've got now which is working a 4x10 work week, and less than a mile from my house, literally fell into my lap. I'll make a video at some point telling the story, but yea i laughed a bit. Also as a fellow professional tech, I'm well aware that my case is the rare exception. Don't wait for the job, go find it. Side note on tip 7, about techs knowing what they are worth, if we all did better with this wages would go up, I've known guys who worked for local dealers after spending 50K at uti and having a ton of tools and the dealer paid $14/ hr flat rate to change oil. anything upsold went to the line guys. there are shady dealers, and for anyone new to the trade don't take that crappy job there is better out there and if all that's available right now is doggy poo take it so you can start earning money and bust your tail and find a better job. there is a huge demand for good techs right now. know your worth.
Now that's finest 7 tips I have ever heard for anyone in the wrench twisting trade...& is completely applicable to all Tradesmen(women). Perfectly said Josh. Cheers Bro, 🤝✌
Life advice. This applies more to everything than just mechanic work!
I guess that’s true! I’m just excited to get more videos out to be honest! The RUclips algorithm punished me lol
@@JoshShare I'm doing my part and liking and commenting 🤣 but really u just want Jeep pics lol. I'm happy though for more videos!

Tip #1 leave the industry
It’s not for everyone 🤷🏻♂️
@@JoshShare been at it for 1.5yr. Nothing but busting ass for garbage pay
@@chrism340i like I said.. it’s not for everyone lol
@@chrism340i you’re still a baby in the industry
@@jaylenharris2891 leaving while I still can lmao, busting ass for garbage pay ain’t worth it
Those tough diags come with a great learning experience you can apply to other similar situations. Use them to your advantage.
Always

Thanks for the comment! How long have you been a Hyundai tech?
@@JoshShare as a tech I just hit my three year mark… but my capabilities are on par with senior Veterans and that’s that I am no exaggerating
Hyundai tech here, I’m considering leaving after all the recalls and too much warranty work
@@chrism340i you gotta pencil whip the shit out of ROs also services tend to help. Do you have any certifications?
16 year hyundai tech here.....shit warranty times, but the volume can make up for it when hustling. I'd like to transition to a slower exotic dealer.
I remember working flat rate at Firestone I made a lot of money on alignments
All about the upsell
Idea for next video! Your mistakes you have made!
Be good to hear as we have all done so
Thanks for the idea!
🔥🔥 good advice , wish I saw this before I quit my dealer job at Mercedes 🥲
I hear Mercedes is rough…
