    Happy New Year Josh ! I recently got mine but seeing these kinds of videos are making me want to start modifying mine 😈 just wondering if yours is lowered or if you would lower it in the future ? Also, I’ve heard that the Eibach Special Edition lowering springs designed for the Trackhawk, work on the SRT’s since there pretty much the same

    • @JoshShare
      @JoshShare  2 года назад +1

      It’s factory ride height. I haven’t lowered it yet because from what I’ve heard the lowering springs are only for looks. They don’t really improve performance. Congrats on the new vehicle and happy new year!

    I installed the bwoody links with the shorter ones in the rear for my scatpack and it definitely tightened up the suspension a tad.
    And I ordered the bwoody adjustable rear upper control arms but still have to install them

      Yeah they seem to make a really high quality product 👍🏼

    Been hearing a knocking noise at certain times when driving and had Jeep diagnose it today, they think its the swaybar links and recommend changing them so now I'm considering upgrading to the BWoody ones. If I'm gonna pay money for new ones might as well get something better than stock that will hopefully last longer and give me better handling.

    The Bwoody end links are nice, but the bushings started to fail after about a year…keep an eye on them. I recently replaced them with the AAD end links…no more bushings and very happy with a quiet suspension.

    Got a clunk in my front end now too. I think it's the diff carrier bushings. Any help on an R&R would be great. Thanks.

    I've been hearing a rattling noise coming from my front as well. When going over bumps on roads. I have 145k on my 2012 srt8 Jeep. Thanks for the info. Keep doing your thing 👌🏽.
    Also, how much is labor for this job?
    I work on my Jeep. But I don't have the space to do this type of job.

    • @JoshShare
      @JoshShare  2 года назад +1

      Probably around 1-2 hours of labor

    Noticed the suspension wasn’t loaded and then have read should be replaced in reinstalled with suspension loaded… Any advice?

    Good stuff, what about your shocks, my fronts went out at 60000 miles and were hard to find.

      In thinking about going with air ride. From what I hear it’s about the same price as the OEM ones and much smoother ride

      It's a thought, but was told it would cause check engine light due to ome being connect to computer. Blisken would touch it, as it impacts Tran, as well as sport modes. I went ahead and replaced after Mopar finally ordered some, 3300. For fronts alone. Hope I can get at least 3 years on these. Gotta be a better way. 😄 keep charging Srt jeeps, gotta love um

    forgive my ignorance, what's the purpose of upgrading your endlinks? I can see from the comments below it affects your suspension. How exactly?

    • @JoshShare
      @JoshShare  2 года назад +2

      Its all good. What we mean when we say that is when your cornering in any vehicle, the body sways to the outside of the corner. If your turning left the vehicle body rolls right and vise versa. The end links are part of the system that prevents body roll and maintains the tires contact to the ground. Upgraded endlinks prevent the body sway thus making the suspension feel “tighter”. Hope this helps

      @@JoshShare gotcha. Makes sense. All I’ve ever done on previous vehicles is lowering springs and strut bars. Thanks!

    Does changing them do anything to the alignment?
