Instead of posting a video on youtube, and hoping for the best, you need to drive traffic to your video. You should post a link to your video on reddit car subs, truck subs, mechanic subs, family first subs... You should post pictures of cars you are working on at pintrest, twitter, instagram with links to your video. If you want youtube to actively push your channel, you have to provide something in return.... traffic that wouldnt have happened without you. That is all youtube really wants. Also get a camera gimble! No shakey hand cam. Good luck with channel.
