Let me guess before playing the video, the g37 either won, or it was damn near a tie...the Rt's are of course 5.7 v8's but to be real, performance wise, they're on the scale with most v6's like the g37, genesis coupe, and 370z's but consume gas like they're always dehydrated...unless a person is a no '''replacement for displacement'' freak like some of these other people i come across on RUclips, they'd probably be better off just going all out with the 6.4 or buying a v6 challenger/charger unless they're looking for sound but not performance which is understandable because actual performance wise, i have witnessed standard v6 family sedans keeping up with RT's from digs and most 5.0s and 6.2's's annihilate the rt's with no problem along with most other similar sized v8's....played the final part of the video and must say nice win, but expected....and your G is a decade and some change older than the rt,,,..hahaha
@@DuttyBoiD I could only imagine a fresh motor 3.7 with less than 100k miles vs a RT...We'd have one embarrassed 5.7 owner our hands to say the least..
@@elstaywinning5735 the srt8 or 6.4 will slaughter any v6 sports car either way, but i could only see the 5.7 edging a g35 with a tune, and even then, not by alot..I ran a rt in my bk1 genny when i had it, and it was the closest race i've had with any post 2015 v8 muscle car yet...i raced a 5.0 genesis sedan from a stoplight and was bus lengthened instantly, but rt's were generally only a car length faster...the rt's sound good, but performance wise, they're sorta mediocre in comparison to most other v8 sports vehicle's in it's class..i test drove one back in 2014 and to me, it just did not have the same power delivery as my friends mustang 5.0 or the 6.4 srt8 i tested back in 2014 also before settling for a crappy, cheap 08 3.3 sonata..
And keep in mind guys that g35 is probably putting down only 280-300 to the wheel give or take while the r/t’s put down 340 wheel ish with the new 8 speed
Those cars are slow are fuck infinity only got the Q50 and that’s about it. That new charger is winning. My 2010 beat them infinity like nun then I modified and beat a Q50 S my R/T making -383RWHP
