I have not watched X or Pearl but I definitely plan to and I plan on watching Maxxxine its funny as someone who is a Model and just starting to get into showbusiness or explore the world of entertainment I think the character we can connect to on some deep level that need to be seen be famous be on a world wide stage be recognised I think thats why she resonates with so many people

This totally reminded me on Angel (1984) but kind of sadly, I thought that movie was better.

I liked MaXXXine more but I have a lot of love for Angel. I was happy to finally see that movie in a theater a couple of years ago thanks to a revival screening and loved seeing Ti West talk about it recently, since it was such a clear inspiration!

I bet Giancarlo is the killer.

I mean he's not "the killer" but he does someone dirty.

MaXXXine is easily the weakest of the trilogy. There was almost zero suspense or stakes. The plot was all over the place and that finale….ooof, over the top cringe.
