    I have a 14-hour layover in Tokyo at HND, I have connecting flights but same air service I shouldn't have to get my checked luggage correct so I can use the lockers for my carry-on

    • @frillycookie
      @frillycookie  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yup that's correct! Always good to double check with the airline, but 99% of the time, your check-in luggage will be forwarded for you. I think there are also big lockers if you do need to hold on to your large luggage.

    Hi this video is very informative. We have a trip coming and we have a 20hrs lay over in haneda. We are a US, my question is do we need an arrival visa just like what you mentioned here in the video? What can you recommend to do during those hours we have? I’m sure we have a plenty of time

    • @frillycookie
      @frillycookie  Год назад +2

      Thanks for watching! US Citizens do not need a visa. 20 hours is definitely plenty of time! From what time to what time will you be there? And what interests you(sightseeing, shopping, eating, etc.)? This will help me provide recs!

    Thank you very much for the video. My husband and I will have an approximately 10-hour layover in September. We will be landing at Haneda Airport at 2:30 PM, and our flight to Bangkok is scheduled to depart at 1:30 AM. Do you think I will have enough time to explore Tokyo city? How much time will I have? Thank you.

    I will have a 12 hour layover this coming October in Haneda airport. I wanna know how's the process if I will shop outside (like in Tokyo) and enter again inside the airport, what will be the procedure in the immigration? Btw, I'm planning to do also the things you did which leaving the empty carry-on luggage. Hope you can notice my question. Thanks!

    • @frillycookie
      @frillycookie  5 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry I'm just now seeing this! Immigration won't happen till you get to your destination country, so I think the rules will depend on them rather than Japan. But I think it's pretty standard.

    How should we plan or anticipate mobile service? Been to Tokyo before we rented a pocket wifi as a group. Do you think it is worth a 12 hour layover and being a solo traveler.

    • @frillycookie
      @frillycookie  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! Sorry I am just seeing this. I think the value of renting a pocket wifi would depend on how much you want to do and how good you are at navigating. I think it would generally be good for peace of mind, but you can definitely get from the airport to the city without wifi. Just do your research beforehand!

    Hi! I have a layover for 15 hours- How would I declare that for online immigration/customs? A month later, I have another layover that gets me to transfer from Narita to Haneda for 7 hours- how would I also declare that for online immigration/customs since it doesn’t have the option of “layover” or “transfer”

    • @frillycookie
      @frillycookie  5 месяцев назад

      Sorry I am just now seeing this! Unfortunately I'm not really sure on this answer and I don't want to provide you with incorrect information. I think we just did short term visit. It would be more of an issue if your citizenship requires a visa.

    • @frillycookie

      Wow 16 hrs is awesome! That’s plenty of time to go around Tokyo. Lounge access will depend on how you are getting the benefit. Economy passengers do not have access unless you have a credit card that gives you access.
