- After spending 5 months living in Manila, it was time to start making my way home with a trip to sunny California. On my way to LA, I had a 21-hour layover in Tokyo, where I'd have to transfer airports as well, so I took this as an opportunity to explore the city.
This was my first visit to Japan, and I definitely want to come back as there's so much to explore and so much more delicious food to eat!
I hope you enjoy this little vlog of my chaotic 21-hour stay in Tokyo :)
If you're traveling soon and need an e-sim, I highly recommend downloading the app Airalo. This is my referral code for $3 towards your e-sim: KATRIN0121
Great haul, thank you for sharing your 21hrs lay over. Don Quijote is really fun place to shop.
Thanks for watching
Cool video. I want to fly to Thailand, one of the choices of stops is in Taiwan and the other one is in Tokyo. I was thinking about choosing the one in Tokyo just to see it. Cool video.
Amazing!! I haven't been outside the Taiwan airport, but I heard that they have trains that take you right into the city, and it is a great layover exploration, too. And thank you! This little last of Tokyo on my layover convinced me to go back last year for 3 months. I hope you have a great trip
@@katrinalubiano Really? I haven't seen to many RUclips videos about things in Taiwan. Maybe I will have to Google some things near the airport if I don't choose the Tokyo layover.
I just think it would be awesome to run to that Temple really quick in my layover.
I have only traveled to the Philippines before, I noticed you live there now. I need to check out more of your videos!
Thank you
@@ironwolph Yes! Let me know what you find.
I highly recommend it! It is a trek to get to the city from Narita airport through (45 minutes) so five yourself plenty of time.
I need to start making videos again lol I was in the Philippines for 5 months but I'm back home in Canada now and will be traveling back to Asia this winter to escape the cold.
@@katrinalubiano will do!
Oh ok. Thanks I will consider that when I start planning. Well I actually kinda just wing everything when I travel with no real plan. Lol
Wow you lived there for 5 months, that's very cool!! Oh you are in Canada. I'm in California , so I'm spoiled when it comes to the weather.
no clue why this is in my reccomended but your editing is great, keep it up 👍
That's so kind! Thank you
