I found the channel by accident! I can never imagine going to Tokyo with no planning! That might be why i still never been haha. Just wowed at you guys nailed it!
At Haneda, I use the Royal Park Hotel in the T3 international terminal. It's on departures level, one floor up from arrivals, at the North end. Super quick to get to, a week or so ago it took me 25 minutes from aircraft doors opening at a remote stand, through immigration, baggage reclaim, hotel check in, and into the bedroom for a shower. The rooms are small, but that's common for Tokyo, but it's super convenient. Saves having to take a bus or organise travel. There's also lot to do in Haneda landside, but as most of it is open normal Japan hours, it's not great if you're on a very different timezone (I was -9 hours). There is a claimed 24 hour Ariso sushi joint on 4F departures, although IME it's closed between about 2am and 5:30am. Other than that you can get a beer and curry at Cafe Cardinal 24/7 a bout 10 yds away.
By chance I found your channel. Brilliant! Love the filming. Tokyo looks amazing. I think it would do my head in trying to find my way around. Can't wait to see your other material!
"Flying standby" = regular traveler "Flying non-rev" = definitely in the airline fellow non-rever here. love the content! planning my next trip with a possible long layover also in Japan so definitely worth the watch
I found your channel by accident . Must be nice to just pick a spot and be able to get on even if its standby. Im single incase you have any single friends lol. I have 9.5 hr layover in toyko in October. Trying to see what time permits to do
the moment i heard you say "non-rev" i knew one of you guys worked for an airline. fellow non-rever here. we've got it down to a science, but its always exciting/nerve wrecking to see if we get on the flight or not
@@TheAwkwardTourists Planning a trip which requires a long long layover at HND and would like to leave the airport for a few hours and explore. Not all of us are 3X vaxxed, I read they want to show proof, or at least maybe they did.
Yours videos are always so great! I enjoy traveling with you through your videos ❤🎉 question: as a flight attendance, how do you get so much free time to travel? I see your not traveling for work. Just curious, maybe I can change my career 😂

Hi , Do you have to pick your luggage and check in again during layover?
I walked that crossing too, lol.
You missed about immigration. Is it easy to get outside ?
Do you have to go through immigration if you are transiting? Also do you have to show if you're vaccinated for COVID?
If you leave security, you have to go through immigration. We did not have to show any proof of vaccination at any point

For an 8hr layover going to Thailand, do I need a visa to leave haneda airport in Tokyo?
That would definitely be something to look to official channels for. We wouldn't want to give you incorrect information here

Do US citizens need a visa for Japan? Im planning to take the flight that has the 24 hour layover
No, we did not need any sort of visa
I have been to tokoyo . I remember when flying in to Tokyo ; my ears hurt really bad. So that part wasn’t fun
How can you have so much vacation, didn't think Americans had any vacation days.
