Got my hot sauce! It's very hot, but amazing flavor! Love it. That being said, I wouldn't mind a "medium heat" version... (hint hint) But I'm still enjoying your sauce for sure! Cheers from Missouri!
Damn, hard to believe that's an airport! 🤯🤯🤯
Any chance you can do an update on traveling in Japan and what has changed?

You need to do a Japanese Bakery and show us your favorites. Please
Agreed
Thank you Paolo. Really enjoy your video on Haneda Airport.
I think he did one of those a while back.
He did
100% fried curry bun, no doubt for Paolo
Hi Paolo, I met you and your cameraman at the hotel. It was really great to see you and take a picture with you; my wife Maggie was aware you were very busy so we didn't want to bother you too much. I hope you enjoyed the airport!
I met him too and was distrbed by his smooth, hairless legs. Go figure.
@@pv2639 My husband shaves his legs, it was required for high school waterpolo and he continued the practice afterwards because it makes him feel cleaner. Also looks cleaner when wearing shorts.
These hidden gem spots are sure worth mentioning. Thanks for giving us a tour.
definitely one to rewatch before flying to japan
@@MakeSushi1 It's hard to say
The Haneda airport is amazing. Especially the matcha cafe, they were so kind they ran out to confirm which item I wanted from the display shelf.
Sitting in Haneda while I watch this, wishing that I had hit up the unagi spot before going through security…next time for sure!
Another tip for frequent flyers: If you are very fortunate and have access to any of the JAL lounges via your ticket/status, they have an extremely tasty beef curry that you can order in large/small sizes. It’s really satisfying, the curry is sweet and the meat is super tender!
Thanks so much for the fantastic video as always, Paolo!!
I was at the lounge and had that curry last month, it's amazing! Also consider the American Breakfast option if you're there in the morning, with the option to have the salad with Vegetable Dressing or Japanese-style Dressing. Comes with scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes
I love seeing you speak Japanese! It seems like we rarely see it happen.
I recently was at Haneda, had a lot of time to spend before my flight, and I ate at many of these places you show here. And yes, these places are fire! We especially liked 茶寮翠泉 with their gold leaf matcha soft serve. We also liked that Haneda Airport Garden had plenty of shops as well as restaurants. It’s definitely a nice place to spend time before your flight and worth setting aside some extra time for. Great video as always - keep up the great work!
is Haneda Garden available airside? Meaning for transit travelers who do not want to go through immigration in Japan.
@@u2onair11 No. Unfortunately, Haneda Airport Garden is not accessible once you go through security.
I miss Japan, I want to go back!
me too 😭
I want to go there.
SAME!
doesn't look like an airport, looks like a shopping mall heaven :)
This guy never ceases to amaze us with his videos. Japan's gastronomy is really the best in the world, it's uncomparable 😍😍😍
I know they have dog cafes there. Can you do a tour or even do a day in the life of one of the workers? That'd be so fun to see!!!
It’s changed since I was there last! I wonder if they still have that handmade soba noodle place. It was the first time I had ever tried “hon-wasabi” - a life changing experience. 😆
They bring you a little chunk of wasabi root and you grate it into the soba sauce. Anyway, IF it’s still there, I highly recommend the experience!
Thank you!
I did
@@CCCC-tq8yo Nice! Recently?
The shoyu ramen for only $6.00!!! That’s incredible. That’s an easy 13-17 dollar run up in Sacramento, I’d eat that every day for 6 bucks.
Great video. My wife and I were just talking about all the flights that are delayed or cancelled these days so the information in this video could be very valuable.
Wow! Thank you so much for this video!! I'm actually going to Japan next week and we'll be arriving through Haneda Airport so this is perfect for us to get a quick meal in after a long flight. 😁
So you’re telling me on my trip I need to schedule an extra six or eight hours so I can just wander through the airport. Sounds fun to me.
FYI for those who don't know, Narita airport (the other main airport) is known for having awful food. So when you are flying back home out of Narita, be sure to eat before you get there! I didn't heed the warning and ended up having some curry dish there and it legitimately was one of the worst dishes I've ever had.
I just hit Yabaton today and it was amazing. Not only good food but good service as well. Another awesome recommendation Paolo (I also went to Masa at the fish market and the pizza next to it.🤤🤤)
Finally I can go to Japan for the first time in my life and will be arriving in Haneda airport in Dec 2023. Can't wait to try out the all the food there.
And now I’m even more excited for my trip 😂 I’m even hype just to walk around the airport
I was at Haneda Airport in April 2019, and holy smokes they have so much more now! We had enjoyed eating breakfast at Haneda at a small bakery that was right beside the train station. We had left early that morning to beat the rush hour traffic on the trains and didn’t have time to eat.
Side story, but when we were flying out of Haneda to go to Osaka, I didn’t know you could take food and drinks with you through security. That is a big no no in Canada. You can buy drinks and food once you are past security and can take it on the plane. But before? You either have to drink and eat it or throw it away. I had completely forgotten I had a full bottle of orange juice and we were next in line for security. I grabbed my juice and started to chug it. Not only did I grab the attention of the ladies behind the scanning equipment but a security guard as well. The guard approached me and very suspiciously asked what I was doing (in English). I sincerely apologized, explained that I forgot I had my juice on me and didn’t want to throw it away; so I was trying to drink it quickly. He looked at me funny and then asked “why? You can drink it once you get through security and even on the plane”
Both my husband and I were shocked. We explained the rules when flying in Canada which made the guard smile and the ladies giggle. They told us that wasn’t the case in Japan, and the only thing they wanted to do with my juice was to quickly smell it to make sure there was no alcohol.
This was also the same rule at Kansai and Kagoshima airport too.
I go through Haneda a lot for work and I've missed a bunch of these, thanks Paolo!
All the delicious food aside, I'm just amazed that Paolo said worcestershire sauce well and confidently 😂
Indeed 😊
ehh, no he didn't. the correct pronunciation is: woostershur=Worcestershire
@@riekster6901 Yes. It's a mouthful (literally), so it's quite OK to shorten it to "the Worcester" ("wooster") e.g. "please pass the Worcester".
When I used to visit Worcester a lot you could always tell you were approaching the motorway exit for Worcester due to the smell from the Worcestershire Sauce factory.
@@prva9347 Thank you for your insightful explanation. Not everyone is aware that Worcester is an acceptable form of Worcestershire.
I have visited Japan many times. EVERYWHERE has great places to eat, although airport prices might be high.
I’ve actually went there, which was like almost 3 months ago. A friend of mine showed me around for the first time, and I still vividly remembered everything, thanks to this video! Thanks for uploading this video for us! ❤❤
Thanks for sharing!
Since catching your channel here since Day 1 of viewing, I am ever pleased to see your high level of enthusiasm and energy with each and every video you post. For 2024, the travel bug, has turned my attention to Japan. It'll be my first visit and tentatively planning to go sometime in May... to be continued...your videos inspire me to ensure I leave no food/shopping stone unturned upon my 1 and a half to 2 week visit 🎉 PS - alas unfortunately I am not a fan of spice or chilli added to foods - so I won't know the taste of your recently launched hot sauce 😮
I love how such high quality food is actually affordable in Japan.. Paulo how do you stay in shape? Always trying amazing food.
Great video Paolo. I enjoy seeing you get so excited about the restaurants you visit. Stay safe.
I missed out eating at Haneda Airport last time I was in Tokyo, definitely will visit stores from the video next time! Thanks for another awesome video, have a great weekend! :D
Nice timing! I'm gonna be in Japan in 2 weeks!
真夏の暑さを避けられて良かった。
日本を楽しんで下さいね😊
Evcellent , That Tonkatsu place is going to be a must. The fact that you can buy a Bento and take on a plane is fantastic .
The unagi looks amazing I’ll make sure to try when I go to japan next :)
Airport and Food Gems in one sentence?
Inconceivable!
I used to fly to Haneda airport. I love it because it's close to the city. The selection of food is also amazing! Best airport in my opinion ❤
Excellent content as always. Thanks Paolo.
I really want to try that eel dish, it looks soo good.
same dawg
im horny for unagi
The last time I was at Haneda there was nothing but a bar with bad airplane sandwiches. The 70's airport sucked!
The new one is amazing! Thanks, Paolo!
Great review as always
That tonkatsu looks like heaven
Excellent video, and so good to see an airport that’s offering such a wide range of local food.
Thank you Paolo for showing this new shopping mall, I was at that airport in January 2020 and I couldn't see it. I will have to return to Japan to see it and taste those delicious meals.
I'm excited ... flying to Haneda soon
この人の動画日本人からしても見やすいしおもろいから好き
theres a shabu shabu place at that mall that was soo good!
So timely, my fam transiting through Haneda in a week! Many thanks Paolo!!
WOW! Amazing and one of the most delicious episodes ever! Thank you 😋
I love that you have people try your hot sauce when you travel places.
Great video as always - keep up the great work! Greetings from the Czech Republic
Compared to Frankfurt Airport where I live, this looks like heaven!
Paolo's food videos are the best.
I would love, LOVE a video on food spots in Japan in Tokyo of food that are gluten free. My husband has celiac and he wants to visit japan one day but scared that there will be limits on food because of all of the Soy sauce that's made in Wheat or the noodles in all of the ramen, that I don't even know what other types of food that is Gluten Free.
Was there in December/January, we got through immigration at around 8pm, so a lot of stuff was closed but checked into the hotel, and grabbed some food at the Yakiniku place then crashed out for the night, and headed into Tokyo in the morning a lot fresher than we would have been after our 14 hour flight. Stayed there again on the way back as the flight was early morning and our flight to Tokyo from Fukuoka was the previous day.
Same here. Good to mention most shops close early at Haneda Garden.
Was there in May and almost all restaurants’ last orders were at 730pm. Souvenir shops were closed when I walked pass at 730pm 😩
Thanks for including the bit about the maintenance at the onsen!! ❤
I love when you do this style of videos! I would like to see if you have any new recommendations around Tokyo after the COVID closures
Please more hidden food spot videos!
Awesome video as always Paolo.
Wow Paolo, you've become so popular. I was at Tsukiji today and saw this. Way to go Paolo. You must be proud of yourself, reaching this height after many years of hard work.
Nice! Making another trip next month. Totally needed this ✌
I'll be in Japan in November for the first time. The food looks so beautiful. I'm British so I can tell you that there is no one I know says the 'shire' in Worcestershire sauce. We just say, 'worster'. Any way we always pronounce the 'shire' part in a name as 'sher' so it would be, 'worcestersher', 'Lancasher' and 'Yorksher' etc.
I'd phoneticise it as sheer, eg Lanc-a-sheer, Wus-stir-sheer, Les-stir-sheer, but I'm from the east so ymmv 😅
Paulo how do you stay in shape? 😂 Always trying amazing food
I finally received your hot sauce… my opinion of is… AWESONE!!! Great spice (heat) and great taste. The heat does not overpower the taste. You all did a great job in coming up with the heat and flavor profile. ❤❤❤ love it.
Awesome video. I feel like I know so much about Japan from your videos and I've never even been yet! Can't wait to go one day.
Great video! I was there in March, the "Grand opening" Banners still around. Can confirm it is a beautifull shopping center. I definately will visit the Unagi Yondaime Kikuwa next time, looks delicious! Please keep up Your good work, always a pleasure to enjoy sharing Your experiences.
Another satisfying vlog ❤
Thanks. We're there next week so will definitely check out the food on offer
Really cool to see whats at the airport!?! And, your sauce creation is SO good. I received several bottles from the second batch and have it everyday at work with lunch. Coworkers love the oily aftertaste. Go Paolo!
amazing content and so useful what you are sharing
Awesome video loved it.
Great Video. Thank you so much and greetings from Germany
Paolo, if I could afford it, I’d come to Japan and pay you to take me to all your favorite food spots/bars. Love your content!
Paolo's next vid would probably be "A Day in a Life of someone at the Japanese airport"
yes!!!! exactly the visit i needed for a layover
I’m so happy to see this video. We are heading back to Tokyo, but landing in Haneda airport. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your videos im learning alot about Japan you and family rock again thank you.
Fantastic video, thanks Paolo
Loving the hot sauce so far! Keep it up brother!
Paolo, you are living the perfect life!
Phantastisch video.
Could give a _double_ like for that.
Will surely remember this should I ever come to this airport and the _Airport_ Garden Mall.
Great video! I'm looking forward to going to Japan one day!
thank you Paolo love the content - watching from Australia :) Love the day in the life vids also :)
thanks for sharing those hidden gems, they are not hidden anymore. But if we all go to those spots, we can make them famous!
I hope i can visit Japan some day. Top 1 on my list the unagi and ramen in Japan😀.. I hope you can have a vlog about a day in a life a tourist in Japan
To be honest I've been putting Paulo's hot sauce on evvvvverrrythannnnng. BUT it will take over whatever you're eating, even if you only put one drop you'll taste it. Which works for me I enjoy it a lot. Goes well on Dumplings, noodles, ramen, rice, I've also found it goes really well with Mexican food!
Great timing, I'm to/from Haneda for our trip next week!
A mall in Haneda Airport is awesome Paolo I need to go there right now 🏎🏎💨💨
wow what an awesome airport!
Looking amazing! 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Last time I watched your channel like 5 years ago when you weren't able to hit 100k subs
And just suddenly this video popped in
I'm really glad to see you haven't changed at all
more food-related and hidden spots videos please!
0:50 - _Paolo suddenly became a giant!_
What a good timing, I’m going to Haneda next week, lol. Thanks!
Awesome food!
I'm hungry now 🤤
Pronounced like Worcester-sheer sauce. Not like a hobbit Shire. It's a hard one for a lot of people as we all pronounce things differently!
The double loin was my fave. Can see why its her favourite. Looks 😋😋😋
Thanks fr all the beautiful videos. Going to Tokyo again on 3/10. Hope to be able to slurp some of the oishi ramen, etc😋
Thank you for the tour ☺️😊 this video feels like a Ghibli film, it's so nice!!
Haneda is awesome! I was there last year in December when it was still fairly empty. I'm flying into Narita next month for the first time. Looking forward to it. 😀
Went early to HND (T3) so we could have our last meal with a family member before flying out. We arrived before 8pm on a Sunday. Every single landside restaurant had waiting lists of at least an hour. It was crazy busy. We checked our luggage in and headed out to Kamata instead. What day and time of the week did you go for the restaurants to be so empty?
I hope I get there someday! 🙏🏻 Thanks
Great video buddy
