Thank you, man. I've just got my tickets to Japan, so I can plan everything carefully using your videos!

This is a great video! I love how humerous you can be at times too.
    I'd add two things:
    1. You can always consider a nearby hotel if your flight arrives after the last bus!
    2. It may be cheaper/faster to use a domestic flight instead of the train to reach other cities in Japan. It's possible to fly to virtually every Japanese airport from Haneda, so it's worth looking into!

After 12 hours who the heck wants to go on a train into Tokyo lugging ur luggage, just pay the $75 and sit in a comfy taxi van straight to your hotel… that’s just me

You’re seven months late for me after visiting Japan. We got on the wrong Keiku train and almost went to Yokohama instead of Tokyo. There is a dark blue and red train. Dark blue was an express to Yokohama. The red with the Keiku to Tokyo AND Asakusa train. Because it goes from one line to the other, they were just sending the red Asakusa train. I figured it was wrong and took the dark blue express and had to transfer.

You can take the bus from YCAT in Yokohama to HND, it's 600 yen.

    Nice video but.
I do not recommend going to Kyoto/Osaka and beyond as soon as you get off your flight. Stay in Tokyo for at least a day before you go.
Also think of whats beyond the Golden route!! What if you want to go to say Kanazawa, Izumoshi, Aomori, Sendai, or somewhere very obscure such as Yawatahama or Imabari.

Some sort of Kansai airport navigation and public transport options from there would be amazing but I’ll like and watch this anyway for algorithm

You missed one option from airport to city: walking. I did that when I was in Hawaii. Only took about 4 hours.

I will stay 5 days in ikebukuro, after 5days, will go to Osaka, upon my arrival in Haneda Airport, I’m thinking of buying the 72unlimited subway train pass (Tokyo monorail), should I still buy welcome suica card? Second question, is there direct bullet train from ikebukero station to Osaka?thank you

    Haneda seems pretty simple.
Transferring from Narita was my "welcome to Japan, dumbass!" moment with my jetlagged brain. Went down the stairs and it was suddenly hot, crowded, too many options, and I could only buy a Pasmo card with my debit card (lol transaction fees) because of reasons after a half hour wait in line. Eventually piled into the basic train line with about a thousand other people and what felt like a hundred stops to Asakusa.
I think I might actually pay more to go to Haneda. The trains will still be sardine cans but at least it's closer.

To me, narita is slightly more confusing than Haneda primarily due to the confusing naming scheme of the Keisei lines. Skyaccess, skyliner, access express etc. which requires several google searches to understand.

Fly from Haneda or Narita for that. Shinkansen will take 5 hours.
The same applies for Kagoshima, Sapporo, and obviously Okinawa.
