After you got your luggage at the T3 Arrival in Haneda, where did you go? Did you have to go to the Departure area then security and immigration? I missed that part.
I have layover 5hr at HND prior to Canada. Did your luggage automatically connected to flight or did you have to find it? And re attached when back to HND?
If it is layover and within the same airport like Haneda, you dont need to take your luggage. It should be sent to your next flight unless you need to change airport. And also during checking in, make sure to ask if you need to take your luggage while on layover at Haneda just to be safe. 5 hrs is okay to go to nearby place outside airport, just keep in mind also about peak hours because a lot of train passenger during going to work and coming home hour time.
I have a 1 hour 50 min layover in haneda airport terminal 3 from London Heathrow to Osaka (British Airways and Japan airlines) do I need to collect my luggage in Tokyo or Osaka...
It depends on the next airport you are going to. If its within Haneda, no need to collect the luggage. It should be sent straight to Osaka. If you are transfering Haneda to Narita, you might take your luggage with you in transfering airport.
I think JAL and British Airline are under oneworld members and you might booked your flight with connecting with this two so your luggage will be taken at you final destination then. Just clarify that when you checked just to be sure.
I think you need to be in the airport to have your passport and face scanned and be stored in their system. After that registration, you can easily walk in to face express line
Thank you Sir for this informative video.
