I think this was my favourite song back in 2003. It just had that feeling of freedom, getting away from the mud of high school and childhood relationships. Still don't know what the lyrics are, but as a teenager in 2003, it was the guitar that spoke to me.
Damn this is good. Love how hairy and raw and natural they sound here. I just listened to one of their concerts filmed just a year after this, and the lead singer has lost his tache and is obviously good looking...the whole band seems a bit more sanitized and commercial. Still good tunes but jeez....that first year here.... they were absolutely amazing.
They were so good back then.
Agreed. So much better before they got all comfortable
Otie Jason what new song?
Still are.
@@KrautCat before the record company polished their image to a sterile shine.
Yup! Raw, ragged and rebellious.
Some people think they're more refined now, I just think they've been diluted.
I like the way the poor video quality adds to the 70s feel of their sound and appearance back then :P
@@ScottishTeeVee Yeah, there's a reason VHS is dead!

They need to go back to this sound
I bet even you won't listen to them if they went back to this sound.
Roberto Sanchez well I don't listen to them now, so yeah I think I would
I've never known the lyrics to this song until now, but these lyrics are hilarious.
I miss this KOL so much 😢

Rock and roll.
King charles knows how to knock out a tune

They had sound, identity, attitude...Now they're all dead, the band can be so cold when they're dead...
Jeevan Nathan 🤣🤣🤣
Watched them live 2 or 3 days ago, they don't have that energy anymore
Why is everyone not going crazy? I’d lose my shit if I was there
Man, they were soooo much better before they got famous in the States.
KOL have Benjamin Button condition... they look younger as they get older!

They were so much cooler back then, had to go ahead and fuck it up with their Sex is on Fire bullshit.

Couldn't agree more
Bands evolve. If you think they suck now you're an idiot. Mechanical Bull is an amazing album.
Humanity evolved to be shit too. Mechanical Bull is heartless.
What's your opinion on the new one then?
Sam Burgess WALLS was amazing
WALLS SUCKS JAJAJAJAJA.
Everything after come around sundown is a waste of time tbh
I'm disappointed. I thought it was a banjo.
@Ken Clarke Yes
Me too. I thought it was a Belgian cheese whistle.
