    INGREDIENTS:
1 shot espresso, or 2 ounces strongly brewed coffee (see note)
10 ounces milk (I like whole milk)
2 to 5 teaspoons vanilla syrup or sweetener of choice (optional)
    INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the espresso or strongly brewed coffee in a 12 ounce mug. Add sweetener to taste.
Warm the milk to 155 F (68 C) in a small saucepan over medium heat. Froth.
Pour the frothed milk over the coffee and sweetener in the mug. Serve immediately.
    NOTES:
    1. If you don't own an espresso machine, make sure to check out my video tutorial for how to make espresso strength coffee without one!
    2. Instructions are for a 12 ounce latte, or a Starbucks Tall. To make a Grande, use 2 shots of espresso and 12 ounces of milk. And to make a Venti, use 2 shots of espresso and 16 ounces of milk.
    3. To make an iced latte, simply place 3/4 to 1 cup of ice cubes (I use these ice cube trays) in a 12 ounce glass or mason jar. Pour a shot of espresso or strongly brewed coffee over the ice, and top with milk of choice.
    4. To make the Starbucks iced vanilla latte, you'll simply add 2 to 5 teaspoons of vanilla syrup to thee recipe.

I will definitely make some at home. I buy a grande hot latte at Starbucks almost every day 😅. Thank you for this great informative video. Cheers.

Can you suggest an at-home espresso machine, please?

Are you saying that you like 1.5 teaspoons for a grande? I'm still trying to find a good balance because Starbucks is a butt too sweet for me, but I'm not sure which side you're referring to because if you use a 12 oz cup wouldn't it be too small for a grande? Forgive me as I'm still trying to understand coffee measurements.

I can’t figure out how to get enough milk frothed to equal a 16oz latte without microwaving it or cooking it on the stove.

Hello there so I was wondering how much is 1 shot esperesso exactly and I saw down there it is equal to 2 ounces strong brewed coffee meaning 59 ml according to a converter just wanted to know if that is correct? Looking to buy a moka pot, a coffee grinder and my own choice of coffee beans to end my Starbucks slavery so a little help would be wellcomee! 😄Btw do you have a video for what brand you go for your coffee beans? I saw people suggest LavAzza Crema E Gusto and LavAzza Qualita Rossa so far but would love to discover different options!

So a shot of espresso is typically around 1 ounce, but strongly brewed coffee doesn’t translate exactly, so around 2 ounces will probably get you closer to the flavor you’re looking for. Did you see my video about making espresso strength coffee without an espresso machine? I go over a few different methods. As for coffee, my dad’s home-roasted beans are obviously the best. I also like Peak Performance since it’s organic, fair trade, and supposedly mold free.
