- Originally named Medusa when it opened in 1999, this was the first B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) floorless coaster ever built. Its transformation to Bizarro came 10 years later when the track was repainted blue with dark purple supports and multiple special effects were added such as rings in the shape of Bizarro's S shield that the train passes through, and flame effects. The three trains also received on-board audio, which has since been removed.

Bizarro is a great ride you don’t feel being upside down at all, I feels like your flying. This is a calm ride you go on if you don’t really like roller coasters but want to ease into it.
You know what else makes you feel like you're flying? Superman Ultimate Flight. I mean it's a flying coaster, so that's what it's meant to do.

This ride is so loud you can hear it across the park
Reminds me of the Goliath rollercoaster in Six Flags Fieasta Texas in San Antonio. Sounds exactly like that & loud as a tornado. lol!
Just like when The Chiller was there!! You'd hear it from the parking lot..

i went to six flags for the first time last Thursday and i absolutely loved this ride. I probably rode it like 3-4 more times because the lines weren't long at all it was just a great experience for me overall, I highly recommend.
This is a really good coaster for anyone wanting to experience their first inversion! Most of the inversions are actually rather graceful and the zero g roll after the dive loop is a VERY fun & thrilling inversion!
I rode this the day it opened in 2009, I hate to say its very different now. It used to have on-board audio which was sick. This used to be the greatest night-time coaster ever. Now its basically a purple medusa.
On the flip side, seeing the fire and mist turned on was awesome to see =)
When I rode it last summer, the fire and mist were both running, just as in the video.
It opened in 1999, not 2009.

@@chopmeatchuck Yeah, but they are literally exactly the same. All that changed were some fire and mist effects and the sound was removed. I wouldn't call it "opening day."

I remember riding this one time in the night during fright fest season, and soon after I did, they closed it early- it comes with a "good" story that no one asked for, but I'm telling it anyway.
So, When I was on Bizarro for the millionth time, I got put to the front, but people kept asking me if I'd like to trade places, so I was like 'ok, sure'. Somehow I ended up in either row 5 or 6 lol, the backer the better. So after the ride, the kids in front of me kept playing loudly with the seatbelts (which you're not supposed to do that), and this woman behind me kept telling them to stop- which resulted in them yelling 'Karen!'. Back and forth, and plus the employees are now shouting at them too, and I'm in the middle of this with an excruciating headache. And when I went back for another ride, they closed it already, all because of those obnoxious kids.
Is it better than king da ka? I’ve gone on bizzaro, but I’ve never gone on king da ka. Is it overhyped or not?

You know... if you just add a corkscrew during the drop, this is essentially what they wanted Dracken Fire yo be.
Well at the time BGW wanted B&M to build DF, but since they were already working on Kumba for BGT and Batman for SFGAm they already had their hands full. Old B&M couldn’t handle the yearly demand that it gets now. Hence why BGW turned to Arrow for DF

Bizarro has 7 inversions though. Also, Drachen Fire had a camel back hill and a cutback element which bizarro doesn't have
Drachen Fire has: a wraparound corkscrew, a cobra roll, a cutback, and a corkscrew. It also had a "diving corkscrew," but that was removed. It also had 3,550 feet of track, was 155 feet tall with a 145 foot drop, went 60 mph, and was made by Arrow Dynamics.
Bizzaro has: a loop, a dive loop, a zero-g roll, a cobra roll, and interlocking corkscrews. It is 3,985 feet long, 142 feet high, has a drop of 132 feet, and goes 61 mph, and was made by B&M. It also still exists.
So how are they anything alike?

There was actually a nice GP that ViperFangirl met on the brake run. His name was James and he was from Brooklyn.
Most people don't remember that this was the worlds first floorless coaster. When it opened up back in 1999 it was ridiculously popular.

2:40 minute dispatch (excluding when unloading train rolls into station)? That’s horrid
TC2015 no. Its like 1 minute but they operate 3 trains every time
ItsNando in this video specifically, from the time the POV train left the station and the finished the course, the second train behind it didn’t dispatch yet, leaving the third and first (POV) train stacking. took 2 minutes and forty seconds for the second train to dispatch. However, the ride ops then dispatched the third train with a time a bit more than a minute, which is pretty good.
That's Six Flags for ya....this coaster has some of the worst operations in the park, but El Toro is definitely THE worst. It's such a shame.

I’ve been on over 200 roller coasters they aren’t scary just try one once and you’ll see
I was so scared of this but it's really not that bad, just gotta keep your head back and eyes open plus it's b & m so super smooth and awesome ride
I do. My okaa-san and oto-san were big fans of roller coasters when they were younger. They would often ride with me.

WHY? BIZARRO WAS SO FUN
I remember going to six flags in 2016 and kingda ka was closed for most of the day. luckily later on that day it reopened and the line was really short. After that we whent on this ride at least 4 times in a row and it was great. we rode pretty much every ride that day and ill remember it for a long time. (I'm from the UK and was visiting family)

Essentially batman's at SFNE big brother. Layout until the 4th/5th inversion is the same. Then at the end its a jumble of corkscrews.

I don’t understand why Six Flags chooses to run 3 trains on this all the time and stacks them every single time. That means the 3rd train provides no additional capacity and just makes people sit on the brakes for several minutes
The only I disliked about this ride were the restraints. They weren’t as close to my body than I was wanted...

Wait, what the heck? This ride is LITERALLY Kumba. 😂
The layouts are somewhat similar, but Bizarro doesn't have a loop that goes around the lift hill. Bizarro is also a floorless twister coaster while Kumba is a standard twister coaster.

PlanCo POVs its not powerful enough the lift hill is slow compared to intimidator and others the height and speed are ok, but its not powerful enough and there’s not enough airtime a better version of this would be dominator at kings dominion
