Awesome video guys , good explanation of the lines and what to hook up , my truck is different than any video I can find online and the instruction manual isn’t very thorough . I call air dog to order some more quick connects and in my conversation I mention I hooked up to the cooler and of corse the guy on the other end never said I’m not suppose to be on the cooler , go figure , gives me the impression customer service doesn’t want to be bothered and everybody to them is stupid . Wouldn’t it make more sense to flip the pump 180 degrees specifically for the 4g because the fuel pressure test port on the air-dawg is facing the frame and instead of having 2 lines loop around 180 degrees you only have one line doing that which would have the right angle fitting on it and the other two can utilize the straight 😅 just a little silly to do it this way but what do i know im no flow engineer
For the trucks that have the internal vent line, you will have to remove the whole filler neck, cut the outer hose only, and slide the vent hose though the center of the return tee upon reassembly.
I recently bought the FP 150. I specifically asked the vendor if the draw straw was optional. He said I did not need to install it unless I was running extreme tunes. If I am running mild tunes do I still have install the straw? Also do I need to delete or bypass the factory fuel filter head?
Could you just leave the factory line from top of tank but just plug it into the airdog instead of the fuel cooler. Woudk not need to fight on top of the tank that way.
Me too cause I'm confused on how the lines all go. If the lines are unhooked from the factory pump it would be pumping fuel everywhere. So I'm confused on it lol. Wish if just got the 165 but I got this brand new pump from a buddy for a decent price.

Much better install. More factory type to put on inside of frame in front of fuel cooler.

2009 lmm Duramax has red plastic clip at the fuel line. Any help with this would be great 👍
Nice video, did not catch the electrical hookup for the relay. how is that done and is it only for the low fuel psi light?

I am having problems removing the fuel line. I have sprayed pb blaster in there to loosen up the line but it will not move. Any idea's?
