I bought mine back in July and I love it. In fact, I was the first person to buy one from the dealer I went to.
What's your average MPG? I'm eyeballing this car too :)
@@iamu2247 would you believe 56 MPG? Also, when I had my Prius C if you went above 45 the gas motor would kick on. However, there are times when I'm doing 69 on the freeway and still running on the battery.
I bought mine 3 days ago...I love it too but its a learning curve lol. Drove 3 days, my tank is still full. Needle hasn't budge
No regrets it's simple but reliable. Great purchased in my opinion.
If the battery goes off of regenerative brakes, to charge the battery or however it works, then wouldn't you they have to be replaced alot. The brakes and batteries. We are getting a 2021 corolla hybrid LE. But never had a hybrid before. Toyota unknowingly sold the regular Corolla LE gas only version we were gonna get. Does it have to totally run on the electric motors. Or can you use the gas engine to make it run. I'm reading about all the problems with batteries and other things.
Nice to finally see a review/road test were cruise control, radar cruise control and lane assist were touched on.
Picked up my 2021 in October. Not getting 53mpg . Average mpg is about 48. Maybe due to winter tires and 90% hwy driving. Having said that I really like this hybrid. This is my 4th Corolla.
I get around 55-57 mpg. I drive 160 miles a day. About 98% highway. 62mph is the sweet spot on Cruise control. The engine turns off and uses the hybrid mode when it’s level ground or down hill. When not using cruise control you can use the electric motor alone with the engine off up to 70 mph BUT you have to be progressive with the gas pedal.

Great review! Production quality is excellent. I appreciate the test drive as well…
I just purchased mines tonight I love it
This is my dream hybrid car! Nice job bro.
I just bought one 2 days ago, I'm excited!
Great review! I will likely buy one soon.
So are you telling me because I don’t know correct me if I’m wrong that this car does it need gas If so what do it run on I’m planning on purchasing this card based off the review and video
Neat man, looking at a fully loaded LE. My Avalon is far from dead though, by the time it dies I can afford a new Tacoma haha.
Great review, to the point! Thank you!
I'm geting mine the next month and i'm super exited
Subscribed. Great reviews.
Great review! 👍🏿
Is this the top model in the Corolla 1.8 Lt Hybrid vehicle ? What is the next model down from this one ? Is it also the same 1.8 Lt hybrid engine ? Is 16 inch wheels just as good as 18 inch wheels in the Corolla hybrid models because 18 inch wheels models cost very much than the 16 inch vehicles.
There are higher trim levels, this base model. 18s aren’t as good on gas mileage.
I test drove a 2021Toyota Hybird today & I heard a popping noise when I would stop & go.
Is that normal?
Yes, could've been a number of things though. Brake hold, gas/electric/hybrid engage or disengage, or something else.
How tall are you? Wondering if I will fit in this
6 feet 3 inches
I paid 26,380.00 for a Toyota Corolla Hybrid in Los Angeles county in May 2021, basic model Out the door price. Did I pay too much?
I could get mine out the door 21k
Was it new and do you live in LA area, 2021?
@@itsyoboi242 from where, my husband wants one now
Y’all got supa high taxes
Carmen, considering when and where you bought it, you didn't pay too much. There's a chip shortage going on right now, which means less cars are being made and dealerships have a lot less cars on the lot. Therefore dealers are not giving dealer discounts like they used to in the past.
Also in Cali, there's a strong demand for hybrid vehicles due to high gas prices which means hybrids receives smaller discounts.
Good job mate
Got mine pearl white
Holy crap. I know exactly where this was shot...
it's got that sheeeeeeeeit yuh yuh yuh yuh !!!
Wth! How the trunk space longer then the back seat space? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Where is the problem?
So people do bigger shops instead of making tons of tiny shops wasting fuel.
Safety wise probably a good thing.
I thought 2021 already came with Safety Sense 2.5+ ?!. I’m confused.
This&that L I think it’s just 2.0
Only the 2021 Camry has safety sense 2.5+
2021 Toyota Highlander has 2.5+ safety sense, as well.
Is US you don't get the 2.0 hybrid? Or the TS?
In US you get 1.8
@@NothinButCarReviews that’s a shame
@@cristiansmochina9056 Yeah, the 2.0 litre 180hp hybrid is good
Nice car
when the Toyota will start using cheap plastics in interiors? What a shame!
I own one, this car very cheaply made, stay away from it, doesn't feel safe.
Most cars feel that way. Its all about weight reduction and cost savings. Get used to it or buy a luxury brand.
@@NoName-gv6nm thank for confirming its cheaply made, when I put small pressure on the hood goes down, I don't agree with you on most cars are same, and I don't like the way you said get used to it or buy luxury. It's $25k car that's a lot of money for piece of junk corolla hybrid.
It's piece of junk, I will make video and prove it.
Odd you would buy a car you perceive as cheaply made. Did you look at it or drive it in person before writing the check?
@@rickevans33050 there are things you notice later, it looks all Toyota is paying some people to respond to my comments,
This piece of crap 2021 hybrid corolla came with no spare tire, no floor matts, and missing a lot of normal car can have. Don't bother i did ask dealer and said this is how comes. When I looked under car it was cheaply made and there more and more, I don't want waste my time tell how this piece of junk is bad, I promise I will make video about.
@@alk734 Is not cheaply made, and since this car uses the same powertrain as the Prius, is going to outlast any other car even other non hybrids Toyotas. You can't say that a car is cheaply made by just looking at it and touching the interior plastic, this one is not.
