Thor summoned Storm to help the Skrulls, however, his power wasn't strong enough to create something natural that could sustain their life. Therefore, he summoned Storm through his winds and asked her to create something that could sustain their life and that they required light, Storm said that she has never done something like that before but she will try and through her powers by tapping into something greater she was able to create an Artifical Sun, that could sustain itself and also the Skrulls, by giving them energy through light and food. Regretfully, I do not remember exact issues names or numbers, but I know I've read it. Of course, the Artifical Sun wasn't confirmed to be a canon until Thor mentioned it in one of the main line comics when he summoned Storm for a second time the same way but this time to fight one of the Titans. Storm was pissed off for being summoned while in the middle of War.

The way she even commands the elements, it's so glorious, even the elements themselves will effortlessly obey her, she knows the perfect words to summon them.. My all time favorite marvel character ❤
She had a strong connection in the elements. Even she was permanently neutralized by the humans with a high level radiation using gun but in her most darkest moments as Storm faces the Adversary she reclaimed her connection with the elements thus she was not permanenly neutralized after all and gaining her powers back. That is what you call a strong character. In spirit, will, and raw power.

Omega levels distinctives are needed because they can do things on a level many can't and in turn can balance or overturn extreme threats that can threaten existence. This is also in Storm's case for example. Her powers are the epitome of life and death for people AND a planet. Having no upper limit and basically unlimited in her dormant power is a weapon for earth and in the universe. With such power you have to have complete control and understanding and that is also part of being omega.
That’s nothing new. Storm had a variation of this black outfit in X-Men evolution. Wolverine had a variation of the brown outfit in X-Men evolution as well. Going back to these old costumes is nothing new. It’s just new to this version of X-Men.
Turning the desert sand into glass with lightning strikes to use as giant shards in a tornado to shred the Sentinels is the coolest thing she's ever done in ANY media: comics, cartoons, movies and games.
She’s done some amazing things in the comics. Like creating a gap in the atmosphere and magnetosphere to allow the full power of the sun to instantly evaporate an incoming tidal wave.
She destroyed an entire planet by causing rain to fall in such a way, that every rain droplet became a prism, when hit by sunlight, then became lasers.

Actually, there’s a simple explanation behind that. I don’t know if you saw X-Men evolution, but, nightcrawler had a holographic projector that he would strap to his wrist. That was how he could look normal. It’s pretty obvious that, the concept was brought up all the way back in 1992. Storm probably uses a holographic projector so she could always stay in costume. That’s how she transforms.

I think a fantastic four comic framed this situation nicely, Mr Fantastic knew his team would be seen as freaks so he marketed themselves as people to be pitied and eventually celebrities So I think in universe if you’re in an accident involving it bigots are a lot more forgiving of you having powers
Storm had a couple utterly breath taking moments and then she was either gone or didn't do anything. She had zero role in fighting the main bad guys. The finale was a huge disappointment as a Storm fan. The director is a Jean/Cyclops/Magneto fan so the season was heavy with them. She was even knocked unconscious after a few seconds in the 1st episode.
You are right writer Beau Demayos favorite characters are Jean and Magneto which is why they got so much focus. He lied to Storm fans and told them that Storm along with Cyclops would be the main characters this season, he was right about Cyclops but Storm was sidelined most of the season. Don't worry though that writer has been fired from the show.

Everyone else were either used as tools to bridge the marvel universe ie morph or sidelined beast wolverine gambit. As hard as it was gambit role this season was simply to be the middle of rogue and magneto

(Assuming they are giving them the one man's worth or DOFP storyline... which pretty sure they are) Jean and cyc will clearly be focused on as well since it set up their comic "the adventures of cyclops and Phoenix" story line..... I might be the minority of this and I kno it prolly won't happen but I could care less about storyline tht involve children and people turning into parents all the sudden. i hate it when story lines take things in that direction with any show really lol U have rogue, mags, beast, crawler and xavier in past giving them the "age of apocalypse" story line... also, I hate that they put Rogue with this group, cuz although she was AMAZING this season, the fact they have her with professor and magneto pretty much shows that they will more than likely be focusing on her a good deal and I'm honestly over the mag/gambit/rogue triangle already... it's was interesting but we all kno she's to be with gambit, so 2 seasons of this is unnecessary. Then we have the present x-men and their story line with forge and bishop... don't kno this for a fact but that could have Forge recruit and make the x-force.... If anything I think it's safe to say tht this present group of forge would prolly get the less screen time since they aren't really the main core x-men members So first season was more of a buffer to set all the things up in season 2 giving multiple storylines that include each specific x-men and their group My only worry is that with all these story lines they're introducing, how are they going to do these stories justice in only 10, 28 minute epispdes? They should atleast kick up the episode list to 13 episodes just like the 1st few seasons of the original series this is a continuation of & update the runtime to a full 34 or 35min an episode lol
I'm so happy Storm is finally being portrayed as the true goddess she always was in the comics. Her abilities are vast and place her in the upper echelon of raw power. She is planetary at BASE.
I don’t think you understand what was happening. She didn’t feel the Earth dying. I’m going to assume you have no education in physics at all. Storm controls and manipulates the electromagnetic spectrum like magneto does. But magneto doesn’t add a much deeper level. So, just likes magneto, storm can sense the magnetic field of the planet. That’s what she meant when she said she feels the Earth dying. She felt the magnetic field Weakening. You probably did not know this, but a lot of mutant powers are actually related to physics. For example, storm magneto and cyclops, all manipulate the magnetic force in one form or another.
Atmokinesis will always come with multiple elements only related to the sky. All rolled up in 1 package. Storm is my brother's favorite x-woman. I really think Storm should develop 2 new sub-skills of generating heatwaves and sandstorms from her hands. Heatwaves maybe part of the sky, while sandstorms r just the wind blowing sand up and around, but still a weather aspect.
She's did that in the X-men TAS. Season 3 in Savage Land Strange Heart part with a heatwave and a sandstorm in Season 4 outside a pyramid fighting Apocalypse's horsemen.

She can and has manipulated cosmic storms as well simply inducing pain bad enough to knock someone unconscious or manipulate the air in their lungs or to effect their equilibrium. She can see in terms of energy and can perceive, sense and manipulate those energies which are electric, electromagnetic, kinetic, chemical, thermal, potential and radiant/light Physically she has cat-righting reflexes, she’s very nimble and flexible, inhuman reflexes and reaction, can operate her toes and tongue like fingers, her legs like arms (sorta) and can her teeth to use her lock picks to pick locks. She has weather mimicry/Storm embodiment (to what degree is still unknown), she can generate all her powers from her body as well as her hands, Storm can also heal at a rate faster and fully than normal humans (she was paralyzed once with Wolverine having to provide total care for her until Emma made her made and 🤔truthfully she summoned a powerful lightning strike and just instantly and completely healed her spine before battling and possibly unaliving Emma). So she’s not just a "Sky Mother" she is a thief, a Goddess, a mutant, a Queen and a potential sorceress.

Jubilee is creating plasma. So when Storm sees herself as a weather manipulator, she’s not thinking of the mechanics of her powers
There is actually a simple reason. Think about it. Storm manipulates the electromagnetic force but it’s obvious her power leans more towards electricity and less towards magnetism. While magneto goes more towards magnetism and less towards electricity. Yes, they are both the same thing, but they are at opposite ends of the exact same line. Just like we are all human, but we are at the opposite ends of one another as some are white and some are black And some are Chinese, and so on. Same thing here. So her powers are electromagnetic, but that doesn’t mean she can control the magnetic side of electromagnetism. She controls the electro only. As in the electricity. That’s why she can cast lightning but she can’t form a force field.
After watching the 92 series and this, I can see the movies didn’t do Storm justice. Because damn she is powerful, beautiful, and starting to become another one my favorite X-MEN.
Storms powers are literally can be seen in the movie Geostorm except that she is not there... That's how strong she is with Omega Level status with unlimited power projection.
Storm's easily a Category-5-level Mutant! In another iteration, she returned to her homeland to help her people with a drought, and always seems to hold back when fighting. It's like the weather on our planet; if Storm went all out, there'd be nothing left!

@@vg9616 as far as we’re concerned tho her natural power is not flight which is y she uses her weather manipulation (wind) to lift her so she can fly so they should technically be white when doing something as simple as flying too
It seems like she should be able to detect changes in the air or something when sentinels are sneaking up behind her. Plus, no one with her level of fighting skill would leave themselves open like that.
common miss on animation is her cape not fluttering while she is flying or levitating. She is supposed to be propelled by her winds to fly or float. Ex: Jean and Storm reunion scene. another one is her eyes sometimes doesn't glow when she is using her powers. overall excellent animation. this is long overdue! who is excited for Season 2! cant wait!
I was waiting for storm to lowkey change it up and use a hailstorm or icy winds freezing the opponents. Not all the time she just blasts off the enemy with her lightning. Common!

U have rogue, mags, beast, crawler and xavier in past giving them the "age of apocalypse" story line... also, I hate that they put Rogue with this group, cuz although she was AMAZING this season, the fact they have her with professor and magneto pretty much shows that they will more than likely be focusing on her a good deal and I'm honestly over the mag/gambit/rogue triangle already... it's was interesting but we all kno she's to be with gambit, so 2 seasons of this is unnecessary.
Then we have the present x-men and their story line with forge and bishop... don't kno this for a fact but that could have Forge recruit and make the x-force.... If anything I think it's safe to say tht this present group of forge would prolly get the less screen time since they aren't really the main core x-men members
So first season was more of a buffer to set all the things up in season 2 giving multiple storylines that include each specific x-men and their group
My only worry is that with all these story lines they're introducing, how are they going to do these stories justice in only 10, 28 minute epispdes? They should atleast kick up the episode list to 13 episodes just like the 1st few seasons of the original series this is a continuation of & update the runtime to a full 34 or 35min an episode lol

I don’t think you understand what was happening. She didn’t feel the Earth dying. I’m going to assume you have no education in physics at all. Storm controls and manipulates the electromagnetic spectrum like magneto does. But magneto doesn’t add a much deeper level. So, just likes magneto, storm can sense the magnetic field of the planet. That’s what she meant when she said she feels the Earth dying. She felt the magnetic field Weakening. You probably did not know this, but a lot of mutant powers are actually related to physics. For example, storm magneto and cyclops, all manipulate the magnetic force in one form or another.

Atmokinesis will always come with multiple elements only related to the sky. All rolled up in 1 package. Storm is my brother's favorite x-woman. I really think Storm should develop 2 new sub-skills of generating heatwaves and sandstorms from her hands. Heatwaves maybe part of the sky, while sandstorms r just the wind blowing sand up and around, but still a weather aspect.
She's did that in the X-men TAS. Season 3 in Savage Land Strange Heart part with a heatwave and a sandstorm in Season 4 outside a pyramid fighting Apocalypse's horsemen.

This show really did her justice than the movies
The problem here is that they dont let storm shine in team battles. She'll give her some moments, but when it comes to clashes she's always set aside.
Tht part... it's like they just use her for a power montage that cool as hell tht just takes out everything but they don't really have her get in the fight, really... it's like they just use her as a closer cuz she's their bomb.
I dont get why Storm cant use force field. She manipulates the electromagnetic field. Loved this animation, great music too.
She can in the comics. Sometimes she makes them out of lightning. In a recent comic, she made a "pressure dome". Basically moved the air around her so fast it acted like a force field
In the comics, Emma Frost laments that a lot of mutants don’t think about the nuances of their powers. Iceman, for example, isn’t creating ice; he’s absorbing heat. He’s tremendously powerful. Jubilee is creating plasma.
So when Storm sees herself as a weather manipulator, she’s not thinking of the mechanics of her powers

There is actually a simple reason. Think about it. Storm manipulates the electromagnetic force but it’s obvious her power leans more towards electricity and less towards magnetism. While magneto goes more towards magnetism and less towards electricity. Yes, they are both the same thing, but they are at opposite ends of the exact same line. Just like we are all human, but we are at the opposite ends of one another as some are white and some are black And some are Chinese, and so on. Same thing here. So her powers are electromagnetic, but that doesn’t mean she can control the magnetic side of electromagnetism. She controls the electro only. As in the electricity. That’s why she can cast lightning but she can’t form a force field.
She actually can cast forcefields around herself and she's been doing it frequently as of late on the comics now
