Gentlemen, we can all agree that we don't want a WW3, but as a wise man once said "you have to be prepared for anything, so learn everything you can before every thing blows up"
I could not agree with you more. We sure AF do NOT need a WW3. Lets focus on unlocking the secrets of the universe and work together to better human kind.

@@LP-fy8wr I wish for everybody on earth World War 3. Because its time to make a step forward to new technologies, a new decade of development in Mankind: After war, there will be Peace!
I don’t want ww3 no one does but I do believe it is necessary and inevitable because think about it our civilization always strives to be better and that means no commies also our future is space exploration it just is that’s a fact and do you really believe a species developed enough to make first contact with us would risk doing so with a species as divided as us and as corrupt as our comie nations. That is why we must eliminate communism and sadly the only way to do so is war. But yes, of course noone wants wars
Actually, from my experience in the military, our nukes are running on 1950s tech purposefully to avoid hacking. Using old computers that need hard disks are kept around for that reason. I even have a Loraine 500 and use it lol. One day, we may all need an old comp to avoid big brother
They are upgrading the entire apparatus from the silos to the new sentinel ICBM’s. I agree with you but it seems someone higher up than us thinks otherwise.
I work in network security, and that brings me so much relief that our nukes have old-school tech; you can't hack analog!

WW 3 might start this year.
I'm guessing this guy never heard of EMP shield. Who partnered with the military a few years ago to EMP protect their equipment
Exactly. I thought the mars ROVs may have been contained in avFaraday cage before deployment to the active battle field
There are only two companies that make Very Large Transformers. There is an 18 month lead time. According to best case scenarios, if just a couple VLTs are taken out roughly 90% of the US will die within a year. The military may have protected their equipment, the power grid, not so much.
They've been hardening military facilities and platforms against emp's since the 60's.
@@Kman31ca Still does nothing for the commercial grid. Congress and researchers have said as much over the last 7 years.
??? This is nothing new. Soviet and now Russian equipment has always been shielded and designed with nuclear warfare in mind.

One of the assumption here is that the air defence is so weak, that it allows the aircraft to enter their space and drop the robot. The chances of that happening are very low in the first place. A superpower will have state-of-the-art anti-aircraft systems (not like Rus one!).
The US is very good at taking out air defences. They have been doing well since the 60s.
Yes
And if air defense is taken out, then just send himars/cruise missiles to the location. Why the need to drop the robot?

that maars thing is dope
at the end of the day war settles nothing
These killstreaks have been in cod for years
The notion of an E-Bomb turning the tide of a war assumes the high tech equipment has zero shielding from EMP
Military may be shielded, critical infrastructure, not so much.
I was gonna say, EMP's will end almost all these and be devastating. Also, the military has tons of EMP hardened equipment
the beam rifle
Most if not all military vehicles, aircraft and warships already utilize redundant EMP hardened electronics in critical systems. The effect on US/NATO assets would be less than the video claims. The bulk of the problems would come from civilian infrastructure that is not hardened.
Nice. Thanks .

I was under the impression that the US successfully tested a hypersonic missile several months ago. Did I imagine that? I swear it was on the news and whatnot.
Edit- I looked it up just to be sure, and yes we did. In July.
"The United States successfully tested two Lockheed Martin Corp hypersonic missiles recently, the Pentagon said on Wednesday, amid growing concerns Russia and China have had more success developing their own hypersonic weapons.-Jul 13, 2022"
US hypersonic missile budget (R and D) is about 5 billion dollars
They did and one thing the video doesn't mention is Russia "hypersonic" missile is just an ICBM modified to be launched from a plane. It's not actual new tech like the Chinese hypersonic rocket artillery.
Gotta love speculation/fiction 😊
For real, both ground vehicles can be knocked out by a can of spray paint
Agree! As interesting as it is, it's to be taken with a grain of salt. Especially because entertainment value is one of the biggest agendas of the channel.
The MAARS sounds cool but can you imagine the collateral damage? Presumably it would be driven by AI, and that could help, but then it's one glitch away from Judgement Day. Also, why airdrop something with so much armor?
This is the weapons that we know about.

Is amazing how most of the stuff shown here as future weapons has been presented in video games, like Call Of Duty and Battlefront, for quite a while now.
The CV-90 Ghost and similar vehicles will play a massive part in ww3
I think we should develop some artificial intelligence to run our future war machines. They could be easily controlled by a web of satellites. A net in the sky, if you will. That's actually a pretty catchy name...

Will laser guns replace bullet guns like we see in Star wars and Star trek? 😅🔫
Shooting super heated plasma instead, At say 30,000°c? +
The blasters and cannons in Starwars dont use lasers they are bullets they light up different colours due to the plasma they generate due to the reactive compounds.

Only time will tell...

Letter Factory (2003)
The rifle mentioned at the start is the XM5. The X stands for experimental and is the current designation of the rifle as it is still being trialled. If however the rifle starts being issued, then it’s no longer experimental. Therefore the video would have been more accurate saying that troops were issued with an M5.
On the topic of unmanned robots, wouldn’t a simple emp just mess them up? That being the case the simple solution would just be to create small personal emp’s to defeat these
İ don't think you can just go "lets invent this" and then just find a way to built it

world war 3 might even be fought solely on computers!
11:51 the most obvious defense against hypersonic missiles would be an upgrade to the XN-1 LaWS laser the US is using and long distance radar to detect hypersonic missiles early enough to take them down.
Laser can shoot fast enough to get many attempts at hitting the missile and a single laser cannon could even get multiple attempts at hitting each missile of a swarm in turn, as long as charging up the laser is fast enough.
Of course the laser needs to remain coherent over at least 1000km (I think?) and then still have enough power to contribute considerably to taking down a missile, if not take it down with one hit.
I'm quite sure the US military is investigating this option or even are working on it.
PS: according to my sources WW3 will actually be fought with Gundams...
You’d need a very powerful laser for that since the missile itself is shielded from intense heat as it is.
@@Rimasta1 yeah, as I said. It's just that speed ois the main issue and you can't shoot faster than light.
I also said the military most likely looked into it, I didn't say they're definitely going with it cause I have no idea if lasers will be strong enough anytime soon or if it's still just sf.
The laser merely requires a coherent range of 25km to be effective against a hypersonic missile. The laser alone doesn't need to destroy the missile itself either, it only has to weaken its heat shield enough to let the missile's own velocity destroy it or ablate the surface in such a way as to cause the missile to rapidly yaw, allowing high G inertia to finish it off.
Here's my more accurate and concise version of this 20 minute video.
"If world war 3 happens it will be fought with nukes."
Funny how he never said anything about nuclear weapons, except as a point of comparison.
The war might take less time than the video.
Actually I disagree with the sentiment. I do think it's possible that it would start with a nuclear strike right off the bat, but I don't really think that it would realistically be the first resort. I do see it escalating into that and really doubt that no nuclear power is willing to take a loss under the chin just from conventional military forces, but an instant nuclear exchange doesn't really make much of sense in every situation - At the end of the day, I would argue that we are self destructive and insane as a species, but not idiots. Instant nuclear exchange is instant loss for both sides.
Also on your last point, I thought I heard him say he is excluding nuclear exchanges - I mean that would really destroy the entertainment value of the video, when talking about other types of military conflicts that could happen. World and politics ain't black & white.
To think, these weapons are only the ones we know about... I'm sure a lot more highly advanced weaponry is being developed at Top Secret levels.
Can't wait
Can you do a video about country georgia it has a lot of cool storys
Waitin for Sahelanthropus to make an appearance in ww3
Bio weapons? Missed that !
There is a big problem with the nuclear cyber part a nuclear attack would be near impossible because we still use DOS and floppy disk. So this would be extremely unlikely to remote into a system that old.
Only thing you got wrong here is the hypersonic missile technology. ballistic missiles also travel at mach 5 or faster, the difference is that hypersonic missiles can change trajectory mid descent making their flight path unpredictable and therefore nearly impossible to shoot down. ballistic missiles travel in a very predictable ballistic arc and thus are very able to be shot down.
As a person that knows code very very well and has done some.. interesting things on the internet. I can tell you, viruses and hacking will be the most dangerous weapon of WW3. The things I can do and have done, let’s just say I know things.
Thanks rex
Well… this is comforting. 💀
It will be really really expensive too, but that did not stop other wars when it should have. Further, high tech will only initially dominate in terms of numbers. After the stage of destroying a lot of communication and supply infrastructure, fighting for raw resources will start draw the complete population into the conflict. If E-Nukes are used, high tech production is gone, including for the agrarian sector. Surrender may just end in starvation so cease to be an option.
