Well done chris for smashing it. How about giving it to CRY cardiac risk in the young. They are a great charity that help to screen children and young adults in sport and general life for heart issues. They helped me, when I thought I had an issue and I’m forever grateful to them for the screening.

Another awesome video, always makes my laugh. The wife went through her Zwift 'following', and performed a cull, she says you are still there, 'for obvious reasons'.....along with a guy from the Bahamas who she aays 'may be useful for a holiday'. Told you shes a stalker!😂
😂 one of your best! Happy to match the $100AUD to the charity that is choosen, just based on your ability to out troll the trolls! Awesome power btw 💥 💪🏻
Btw, my choice of charity would be the Tour De Cure, based here in Australia. It’s a cycling charity which raises funds for cancer researchers. The Tour leaves from Newcastle next week!
Just a technical point that probably doesn't matter because the recorded power was over 1700, but ... Chris used a single-sided Stages power meter, which calculates total power by doubling what one leg produces, in this case his left (non-drive side) leg. I personally ride a dual-sided Stages power meter and saw my power numbers drop when I upgraded from single-sided to dual-sided. Not a huge difference in terms of total power for me, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-30 watts total difference. So while the 1700+ recorded power from a single-sided PM that Chris achieved is not entirely accurate, it is most probably well over the goal of 1600 if a dual-PM had been used.
Used this road many times and its very crap surface, good effort, see your ride has been flagged as well so at moment your not the KOM, get it fixed. Would love to come across you on a ride round there, only down road in Selston
I wasn't sure what to think at first. It's not that I don't appreciate dry British humor, or ya mug, but it was more race results crap. This new off the wall stuff you have going lately is much appreciated. Sub'd and look forward to them now. NO doubt harder to make than rattling off results, but its good.
I'd send it to the local authority to help fix the road..................... awesome video. I'm sure any deserving charity would be pleased with a donation, thanks Andy G.
Poor Andy G... We all did a facepalm when you read his comment, but respect to him for being humble and owning his error. He will never again disrespect the perimeter of the Pritchard Sprint! If you didn't hit the like button on this video, you're dead inside. 🤪
If you change your batteries and don't recalibrate power meter it gives you crazy power buuuut if you connect it to training peaks and upload your rides it will know right away if something is very off
That's not my experience with a Stages PM, and I have two of them. If the batteries are low you get some weird spikes, but you don't have to recalibrate just because you changed batteries. I do anyhow, but the offset is the same before and after. It changes a small bit when you remove and reinstall the crank, it changes more if you move the PM to a different bike.
THAT is worth more than a medal, isn’t it? (asks the guy never even close to such a medal...) Classic “in 10 minutes...” 🤣 Gotta take care of business before taking care of business! Solid video, Pritch. 👍🏻
The hardest part is to keep up the watts on the flats. Here I am only averaging ~230 for my more serious efforts on the trainer LOL. I really need to get a watt meter for my bike. I've only started seeing at my watts on the Wahoo trainer through Zwift in the past year, but I never had been that serious of a rider...

Baxter Hill to Batley Lane, That's in SCAB country, no good will come of riding there LOL. Its pretty hairy when your tearing down Baxter hill and you see an Ashfield Chav in his 20 year old VW Polo approaching that give way on the left.
Seems a bit anti climatic to spike for .5 seconds at over 1,600 watts....I couldn't do that for sure, even standing...but for it to be worth anything would be an actual sprint for several seconds. I don't doubt you could probably do it for a few, but would have been nice to see it :) Nicely done either way.
