- Part 3 of the TE250. Here I dig into the motor and also replace some missing parts. After that I clean and grease the rear shock and swingarm.
I've been watching your videos now for one whole weekend. I have learned more about dirt bikes this weekend, than I have over the span of my entire life. Thanks.
Glad you like the videos, thanks.
The way the clutch basket popped on was very satisfying for some reason, also very very detailed rebuild, props to you, great video series
Yep, that clutch is ready to clutch lol 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Very impressed with not only your knowledge but also your skills necessary to rebuild the bike. Additionally, you spent a lot of time in post production completing this video. Thanks.
I had only seen your most recent video or two, got hooked. So had to peruse through the old stuff.
Hope to see more from you and the fam!
Super entertaining and educating at the same time. Cheers from Australia.
Cool sense of humor and Excellent work on this unit so far...
thank you sir!
You two got something different going on here ,very informative, your man is a top quality mechanic, and your editing is second to none, and I watch them all, thank you
hahaha the tesla joke, man this channel really is a gem the amount of youtubers who put out amazing content and really try to put out videos viewers will find funny and informative is so rare keep it up!!
You are a wizard! I am in awe!! Can't wait for the next video!!!
You're too kind, thank you!
So much effort into these series. Thanks!
I'm a big fan of all your videos, especially the yz426 project. I love seeing a fellow home mechanic have success in cleaning up the carnage left behind by others. Also, your editing is A+. Keep it up!
Smashing job :-D
It looks in really nice condition now :-).
You have done a great job of deleting the bodges of the previous pillock!!.
Like the deeper hole drill and tap, just a longer bolt, no strength lost :-).
.
If i had to do a clutch pole repair like that, it would only be to tide me over untill i could save up for the part, transport to work came first.
Its unfortunate that sometimes ive had to adapt the design because the part was unobtainable or i just didnt want to sell a kidney.
You're a Nut! I have no reason to be watching a TE250 video but on number 3 now! I think its the grin on my face that I enjoy the most. Thanks for the unexpected joy!!
Video was awesome! I have a 2007 te250 and it is really cool to see all the parts inside it. Cant wait to see the finished project. Keep up the great work man
Can't wait for more from this and Shasta! I am loving the episodes, and have even gone out and purchased a bike that needs a little love.
What a state that bike is in! I got no idea how he even done that much damage. You have to be a genius to fix this
mate....you're sarcasm and one liners are gold!! thank god there's hope for humanity still....
I just found your channel. You do a great job with editing, and your personality makes for great entertainment!
I'm learning to work on my own bikes, and I can tell that you will be a good source.
Thanks, I hope the videos can help you.
That was fun, especially watching someone else do the work. I learned a lot, especially the valve shim install. Really good video and humor. My son has a TE 449 Husky
Glad you liked it, thanks
I love your enthusiasm about fixing machines!🤠
I've become addicted to your videos, your jokes & quips are classic (throwing the handle grip into the driveway and then running it over on film! Haha!!) and your approach to mechanics is refreshing. Also, I need to find a wife like yours, what a cool young lady! Thx, Brian from Brea CA.
Hey Jennie. Loving the videos, it's giving me lots of inspiration to work on my own bikes and learn more about them. Keep up the good work!
You make things look so easy man!
Engine looks neat and clean.
Yep,until not too long ago you could get almost all weird tools and parts in a SEARS store.
glad you liked the video. sears is such a sad case. their ceo is the worst. every store seems run down
Man you can't leave me hanging on part 4!!!!
I have a Honda CT90 in the garage that I've been able to fix.
All new top end and ignition ect... I got it this far but thats it.
I don't seem to be able to get it running tho, another education starting now!
And thanks for all the videos that have encouraged me so far.
very good video, I love how you make your videos.
Thanks a lot, hope everything's going good with you!
*****
yup going great.
you sir are a hero ... if I had a bike with that many faults ... I would just break down and cry
Awesome vid. Looks like the main swingarm bushes were installed the reverse of how they were originally?
man you always make me smile i dont even know how i found your channel but im glad i did
Great to hear you like the videos, thanks!
Just found your channel. Ironically also just bought a 2013 TE310 with some minor issues. This vid was very helpful.
thank you so much for your video.i just bought yesterday a husky 250 te from 2004. 100€ not starting at all and a little bit in parts.great video
Honestly my favorite video. It's so satisfying and the way you talk about things is hilarious
can't wait for part 4!!!! love the vids
Nice video you really make repairs seem easy and stress free :D
i get alot more outa this guys videos than others, hes pretty sharp
Great tip using the syringe to bleed the banjo fitting on the slave cylinder. I once wrestled with a Magna V45 for hydraulic clutch for 2 days trying to get pressure. Bet I ran more than a gallon of fluid through that line before I exercised the elusive ninja air bubble. It is a great feeling when that handle finally starts to build pressure. Looks like it is going to be a great bike. Really appreciate the videos. RM
Glad you enjoyed the video. ninja air bubble is a perfect description. Stealthy and elusive!
I dont really care what are you fixing up, because you always make it entertaining :D I really like your vids
Man you are a awesome Motorcycle Mechanic. NICE WORK! Thanks for the videos.

i would love to see a top end rebuild in the future as i haven't done one yet and would love to put the athina big bore kit on mine, look forward to seeing the next update keep up the good work man
Glad you liked the video. I'm not sure how healthy the top end is, so I don't know if I'll tear in there or not.
informative, entertaining and I can't wait for the next one. thanks for doing them.
thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you liked the video.

I am new to your channel, kind of, but it is very entertaining and what a nice motorcycle. That baby has a 4 valve cylinder head. I have been into motorcycles and cars since the early 1980's. Love watching your work on these and its nice to see you and your family all chipping in!
i love watching your videos. they are great! keep it up
Big man road that poor bike real hard and put it away wet, and beat. Great job. I love this project.
Your content is weird but I like learning about that specific dirt bike and other bikes, so I keep watching.

Any idea when the next video will be up?
Grown man giggling here. Top quality!
Wow. You did that bike a favour taking it off the hands of that ham-fisted ape of a previous owner.
Yeah, it's incredible how trashed it is especially considering it has less than 2k miles.
@@jenniesgarage i doubt the mileage but good job.im just waiting on a te450!! cant wait
Awesome video's very informative keep up the good work
Love the videos. It's learning that I enjoy!
That's great to hear, thanks for the comment.

Great video very informal and easy to watch. I have a 2009 TE250 and looking to install the 310 "big bore"
Great content man, keep going on RUclips and you’ll be famous for sure
very well done, it must feel rewarding to restore after the abuse of the previous owner and have a nice bike for what im guessing you got for a good price.
great instructional , more fun than riding but always have a rider while you restore.
Love your vidz mate iv learnt so much already
keep the good videos up, Super informative
Thank you!
this build series is great
Thanks a lot!
"I don't need most of this stuff, but that's a good price!" --- Quote of my life too.

Great video keep up the good work
Great video; as always.
Thanks!
nice video waiting on part 4 :)
Another great video from Jennies Garage! Have a good'nnn
Thank you sir!!
The quality of former repairs performed on this poor specimen are astounding. Why would you do stuff like that?
people are lazy.
yeah this one was put through the ringer
cheapness id presume... although the second clutch plate repair with the bolt from the rear kinda seemed like an acceptable job depending on the cost of the part sub 100$ questionable.. if the part was over 100$ and the clutch was working fine and loctite was used all over those bolts i think itd hold up atleast long enough to burn the clutch material out :D
very nice video, enjoyed it thanks
happy to hear it, thanks!
just a side note. those parts that had surface rust on them are made out of bare mild steel. thats why they had some surface rust on them. It was the same in my 310. Also, the rubber dampers that are in the back of the clutch hub usually get warn and eventually fail and you get a lot of clutch noise. You can get a rebuild kit from ziptyracing.
Oh yeah, and the snap ring is usually the reason why those slave cylinders are cracked. people take the slave off, and forget and press the clutch while its off the bike. and 7602 racing makes a really nice double wiper seal for that piston...
It felt pretty good going in
Just what I was waiting for!!😄
Great! hope you like it!
Come on Jake, where's the next installment, love these garage video's :)
amazing videos!
Your RULE brother... Good stuff
Thanks a lot!
best channel i ever found.. :D

Great guy !! Greetings from Argentina
Ayeee I used to work at a fastenal lol
Sick videos my friend
Hey, I really like your videos. They are very educational and fun to watch. I was wondering if maybe you could get a sportbike project? 600cc or bigger. Keep up the good work bud👍
this is a great video!
What everyone else said....This is a riot. Thanks for sharing! :D
Pro tip: Always check the bottom of the case for damage. Would guarantee that cluster was taken off at 2000 miles.
Loved the video was expecting some home made music to go with it.
Yeah, after part 2, I figured everybody deserved a break from my "talents"
I loved the video. I'm still catching up with your older stuff. Just to be a jerk (motivation?), two notes: First, I'm loving my 250cc dual-sport. You'd love having yours finished :) Also, I recently finished my camper trailer. I admit it's still got some t's to cross and i's to dot. But your trailer work was motivational. Wouldn't you love having yours finished too? But seriously, thanks again for making these great videos.
Great vids!
Great videos!!!!

Great video

thanks so much, I don't have any plans for leaving!
+Jennies Garage yesss I want to see more builds 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Jeez them cam lobes looked pretty ruff
When you removed the bearing sleeves from the swing arm they came out from the inside but you installed them from the outside when you put them back in...???
