I just love the witty banter and smart ass condescention towards the previous owners and or "mechanics"😂! Priceless entertainment and pointers for the whole family. Keep up the great work brother.
Just posting to say we NEED more videos and content!!! This got me through the hard times in the hospital last year, I look forward to each and every new video!
Jennies Garage you do you buddy, whatever makes you happy! I just really enjoy your videos, and I know that if you keep it up, you'll easily get up and over 100,000 subscribers :)
Thank god you made another video, couldn't wait to see more!! Keep up the great work, I just picked up a 1977 Yamaha dt 250 and your videos are keeping me going through the "restoration"
Great! Wish my hubby and I watched before restoring our son's Suzuki JR50... Took a few days but turned out great. Except we used plastic spray paint on the fenders... Peeled right off. Take 2 now. Love your videos
i just came across your videos, and have been watching them over the last few nights. Staying up too late too I might add!! Super glad to find you, just subscribed. Love the humor and sarcasm, filled with awesome instruction and purpose! Can I say RUclips hero!! Thanks!
I had completely forgotten about this project but when I sat down at my computer and saw That Jennies garage had uploaded a video! I had to tell my wife hold on woman that shower is going to have to wait. man I have missed these videos, the bike looks great.
Great video!!! Always look forward to seeing your projects and how you fix things with the stuff that you have. I was just wondering if you were going to have another video in the Trail 90 series any time soon?
I have another trail 90 (now trail 125) video in the works, but I need to do a trailer video first, as that audience has been waiting patiently for a long time.
Hello, on the sticker issue, you might want to try a thing you can get from an auto paint store. It looks like a big round eraser on a post that you put on your drill.Just be careful not to get the plastic too hot.I ve never used on plastic, but really works great on painted metal surfaces.Hopefully it helps your journey bringing back these wonderfull old machines, thanks for your videoes, very interesting.
Man you are frickin awesome ! Your Mr Rogers as a mechanic lol ! And way nicer than I could be finding all the things wrong from people without a clue lol
I 2 love to wrench and revive motorcycles and ATV'S and it would appear that you are as OCD as I am, lol. Other than the scooters the best investment I ever made was in a harbor freight bike lift. My wife and kids bought it as a Christmas gift a few years ago and she was able to score a 40% coupon and get it dirt cheap but even at regular prices and a 20% coupon it is damn worth it. Keep wrenching.
I like your videos and the times you have your son "help". Regarding your plastic fenders have you tried a headlight restoration kit? They have fine abrasives for plastic.
You can use boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits mixture to repair faded plastic. I did it on my 02 big bear 400 and they look almost new except where the plastic had got stretched
Jake! This was a super cool project! Is there any chance you could post your process of replacing those fork seals? I made a first attempt earlier this summer but the repair only lasted about a month (about 18hrs or riding). I’m gonna try again and I’d be curious to see how Jennie’s Garage approaches the task :) Thanks!
You've used lacquer thinner and WD40 to remove stickers. You might think about Zippo fluid. It kills the adhesive and doesn't leave any residue that you then have to clean later. Also it's safe on most plastics.
Any chance you know when the fork rebuild video will be released. It's a job that I need to do on mine but it is intimidating. Keep up the sweet videos!!
When I was around 10 a friend of mine that was also 10. Would find mini bikes that were junk and get them running and sell them to kids around the neighborhood. A lot of his “work” was done like the work done to this bike.
You are doing a loverly job, that machine will look new by the time your finished :-D. Its well worth taking your time to do it, rushing or forcing yourself to tinker when your not in the mood isnt good. Ive done some evil (get home) bodges, but jamming a lucar connector into a round pin socket isnt one of them. For road bikes, the steering should not have friction, it should drop to the left or right on its own, but not have a sloppy bearing, dont know if that applies to off road machines. Oh Have a loverly and healthy 2017 :-D
Thank you for your kind words. I've found that I'm most always in the mood to tinker, it's just the video editing that gets a little boring. But then when it finally gets uploaded and people like it that makes it worthwhile.
is this a highway bike now? those tires looked like they had lots of life in them.. and if you rode them for a while and than got new tires itd bring a whole new lvl of performance/excitement to the bike again after you had gotten used to it
I'm always so impressed by what you can do on such a small budget. It really shows how valuable time and some good effort can be.
Thanks for the compliment. I think it's a great challenge to fabricate, and make use of what is available.
I just love the witty banter and smart ass condescention towards the previous owners and or "mechanics"😂! Priceless entertainment and pointers for the whole family. Keep up the great work brother.

One of my absolute favorite RUclipsrs! Wish you made more videos, but I always enjoy the ones you do
thanks for watching, I'm really going to try to step things up.
Jennies Garage you do you buddy, whatever makes you happy! I just really enjoy your videos, and I know that if you keep it up, you'll easily get up and over 100,000 subscribers :)
"It's just a rubber mallet - it doesn't harm anything. " Too funny, Man ! My second time through this series - its just great.
Buying new parts is easy, refurbishing (the plastic for instance) gives a certain tangible sense of satisfaction. Looks good .
great series, good to see someone repairing things properly. worth the wait for videos as they are always good quality
Thank you, I try to make a decent product.
Thank god you made another video, couldn't wait to see more!! Keep up the great work, I just picked up a 1977 Yamaha dt 250 and your videos are keeping me going through the "restoration"

Haven't seen you in a hell of a long time!!
I'll try to change that, don't give up on me!
I was stoked to find your quarterly installment
tough times, that's the most the board would approve.
I love your videos you should make them more often. And the trail 90 series was awesome!
Thanks!
I liked the way the stickers and graphics looked
i just came across your videos, and have been watching them over the last few nights. Staying up too late too I might add!! Super glad to find you, just subscribed. Love the humor and sarcasm, filled with awesome instruction and purpose! Can I say RUclips hero!! Thanks!

Ahhhhh, thank you for replacing the Husqvarna sticker on the front fender.
My OCD is deeply satisfied.
I missed that te250 so much... great job Jennie!
thanks!
I had completely forgotten about this project but when I sat down at my computer and saw That Jennies garage had uploaded a video! I had to tell my wife hold on woman that shower is going to have to wait. man I have missed these videos, the bike looks great.
Thank you sir! You tube has delayed my shower/bedtime lots of times!
Great video!!! Always look forward to seeing your projects and how you fix things with the stuff that you have. I was just wondering if you were going to have another video in the Trail 90 series any time soon?

+Jennies Garage Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work. I will be looking forward to the next Trail 125 video.
Mr clean magic eraser works so amazingly for white plastics
Quality of workmanship

Sweet IRC GP-110 tires. I love these videos.
Love your motorcycle maintenance style

Love how honest you are..
Another great video thanks for the smiles!
Your videos are informative and hilarious at the same time. Keep up the great work man.
thanks, I try to throw some humor in there, without being too annoying.
Man I absolutely love this bike. So awesome looking.
Nice job on the fender. I'll give that method a shot on my ktm number plate. Great video
It works if you are very very careful with the buffer. Just sand or scrape off the faded or oxidized layer first.
Helicoil to fix stripped threads works as a charm!
You did well with that tyre fitting. I always mess the rims with proper levers.....
I love this guy... in the most manly way possible.
thoses 20 minutes just flew by! great work!
For the stripped treaded holes try Heli-coil thread inserts. They are great.
He's alive! Great to see you back!!!
haha yeah still alive and kicking!
Glad to see another vid.. hope you had a great holiday season.. Bike is looking good!
Thank you, and happy 2017!

Yes, I'm here. Glad that you stuck with me!
Ive had really good luck with soaking dirtbike plastics in a hot bath before removing the decals and they come off no problem
that's a good idea, thanks for sharing. I'll try it if I ever have the pleasure of removing old stickers again.
Was that an SP500 that you polished the fender on in the short clip? One of my favorite bikes ever.
