- Disassembly of the engine. A few good and bad surprises awaiting me! It will be a while before the next video as the cases need vapor blasted, and I'll have to wait on machine work and rebuild parts. Stay tuned.
Ha, I had the same experience pulling the gear on the crank. I had puller on it pretty tight and it never budged. I gave it some heat with my propane torch and it let go, sending the puller and gear flying.
I had the 1975 🟣 Heiko Mikkola replica cr360 gp in 1977-78.
Raced MX.
Fast bike.
Magneisium cases careful .
I broke mine .
Put a crank kit and clutch .
Bike was like a fast 250.
Valuable vintage parts from the best old school husqavarna,s were a manmade beauty and sweden could make a bike that was so unique like a viking and the automatics were a class beauty black darth vader model on thr front of american dirtbike magazine back in the 70s and all aluminium gas tanks are things of beauty of every colour of beauty that husqavarna could produce and those days were the best fun days of admiration for a so much appreciated model they were well worth the creation
Great work. Can't wait for part 4
Looking good. Im looking forward to the next steps.
So many parts
Great job!...I hope to see part 4 and the cases after they have been vapor blasted!
The cases are ready. I need to get a few other bikes finished and I'll get back on it!
Please show more of this resto. I have the same bike with the same problems and am looking to you for guidance. Thanks so much.
Sorry I got side tracked on other bikes, I'm trying to get back to it soon!
And I thought it was only me that struggled with that stupid starter clip!! Keep up the good work,Great video, looking forward to a husky update
Gotta get a C Clip remover, used my dads ghetto one held together by a tie strap and removed both C Clips in less than 5 seconds
That bike has been a race bike
It sure has, I have all the pictures!
That shifting mechanism, where the two flat arms connect the new type to the old type, break very easily if you drop the bike on the shifter side. This was a temporary fix, until they changed the cases the next year.
Dude, you should have kept the jug on that motor and both casing covers You know, the cover for the stater and fly wheel and the clutch cover should kept all that on it and took it to the car wash and pressure washed the shit out of it before you ever even touched a single bolt on the casings and jug....
what type of crank case splitter are you using, I need one for my 125 husky
Hi Edward. Will there be more vidoes from you..
Obviously the first motorcycle engine you have ever split the case on in your life? I can tell by how you took the transmission apart. Well, you didn't take it apart. You pulled everything apart and just let everything go flying. That's how I know you've never done it before and you're putting it on RUclips. You think that's a good idea? Man never having done something before and kind of making a how to video out of it.
Don't u have a IMPAC gun
Impact gun*
