    25,600 the Nikon still looks clean. The Sony looks like it's added smear softening to it's noise reduction. The Canon needs a neutral profile ASAP. All of them need a flat profile honestly.

    I believe Canon dropped the ball when they rumored to discontinue their M line to focus R&D on the R Line AND wanting to exclusively make their own lens. Sony is going to dominate in the mirrorless space thanks to third-party lens and accessories.

    I think the Nikon Wins this, for sure it has the best kit lens, and the cleanest image and the colors were mostly on point. I dont know what D lighting is but I would leave that off. The Sony comes in second but was hanging on for dear life. the colors were pretty bad, and the lens, well it was the main culprit for the bad showing. The Canon, pretty obviously last place here. Just to let you know, I'm super exited you have all 3 of these camera's, this is the comparison I've been waiting to see. Can't wait for the rest of the video's you have planned. I think the Nikon could be great, but unfortunately it overheats between 20-30 mins in 4k. This is tough for someone like me who often shoots longer than that. If that can get fixed in a firmware update, Nikon could have a big seller.

    For Niko's D-lighting, you should perhaps add a little bit of contrast (works good on pictures, where you can bring out otherwise lost details in the shadows. Yes, like getting a fully usable image from a failed shot).

    The video is impressive. I like the way you presented everything here, thanks. This is exactly what the audience of these cameras are willing to see. Nothing super techie… but they get it. The image quality and low light capabilities are splendid on Nikon. It has got the advantage of having a superior kit lens based on a larger mount. The field of view is also good. in the extreme low light, the sony is doing better due to noise reduction, next the nikon. maybe if the canon shadows is raised in post it would be good, because canon likes crashing shadows or a different picture profile. but overall all are disappointing in low light. anyone who cares this much, should probably go full frame, and that's my decision to skip apsc completely. cool video.

    • @kean4582
      @kean4582 2 года назад

      It actually depends more on how wide the aperture is on the lens. A f1.4 in apsc will be better than say f2.8+ in full frame. If people have less than $1500 total budget, then an apsc+ f1.4 is the way to go, and a full frame+ cheap lens will have a hard time beating that in low light. But if people got the budget, then of course the full frame has the higher ceiling, although they could easily spend $3000+ for about just 1 stop of more light.

    • @truthseeker6804

      @@MarkBennettCameraCrisis The Sony has an additional 1.23X crop in 4K30P which you failed to mention, that is almost an extra 25% crop vs. the Nikon Z30, which has no crop on 4K30. That is a big advantage for the Z30 when hand holding and vlogging.

    My string lights produce light banding on my zv-e10 at every shutter speed except 1/40. 1/30, 1/50, 1/60 all produce banding. How do you find string lights that don't flicker? It's a very hard thing to search for.

    • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis

      that is a hard thing to search for because people who make string lights do not care about our cameras. if I were you I’d shoot at 1/40 - it won’t be very noticeable compared to 1/50.

    Would love to see zv-e10 vs r10 vs r7 for autofocus, dynamic range, image quality and sharpness (4k = 1080p), stabilization, rolling shutter, frame rates, and cinematic quality! Basically are the canons worth it over the zv-e10? They have (crippled?) Digic X and zv-e10 still Bionz x so they should be better for 4K especially. Sony should be due to make aps c based on bionz XR soon that I think should blow Canon away. Can Canons compete with Catalyst Browse?!

The most important for me is that I feel Sony and mostly Nikon deserves more customers loyalty. I hate Canon crippling game. If I compare entry level full frame the Z5 gives you IBIS, dual card, wheater sealed body. Much more than RP and cheaper than A7C. That's important for me, thinking about future purchases

      If you really want an EVF then go for a6400/6100.
      The menu system is not that big of a deal, you can create your custom menu in the ZV-E10.
      If you wanna wait, then wait. But there isn’t anything new on the release radar as far as I’m concerned and the ZV-E10 has fantastic value.
