This was a very inspiring story! I'm glad she is passing down a legacy that will be long remembered by generations of her family and friends. One person can touch thousands even after they are gone. I hope someone takes pictures and adds pieces of thoughts and memories from her. Momma is gone now and she had so many stories. The trouble is, she would only start talking while we were out on long rides. When I asked her to repeat, she often could not remember the same details, or they were too raw, and she didn't want to repeat. I eventually tried to slip a tape recorder in the car, but she'd know and wouldn't talk at all. You always think there's time, and suddenly it's gone, and you're left without those memories.
I really enjoyed this video. Your quilts are beautiful. All I think about is quilts and I love the expression on the face of the person receiving them. I dont know why I just want to continue to do this because very few people close to me really appreciate my work, but I keep pushing myself with designs that i create.
