Randy im sure there is a step inside that tailgate
There is
Absolutely is
Yes there is I keep trying to tell him threw the damn phone lol
@@jhonny_rockbreaker 😂😂😂😂😂
show us the step randy its in there
"My dog is worth more than some leather seats anyday of the week"
This is why I follow you. Good guy creating good content 💯
No he isn't, he plays one on RUclips.....look at how he talks to his former fans.....told me to eat a d*** cause I said "yep grandpa truck status😁😁" right after he said it in the video.
Randy, service the rear diff and add friction modifier. I had an f150 that acted the same way, friction modifier fixed it.
Ford RACING gear oil with friction modifier says my tranny guy
Firestone for tires. Trans and diff shop for diffs. My Explorer did the same thing and stopped when the fluid was changed out. See below.
Id bet money a fluid change with friction modifier fixes it right up
I was gonna say it was the diff
Service diff add friction modifier. Done deal. As mentioned before. Still got a couple 100k left in her
Is not the millage that's matters is the maintenance that matters!!!
Well said, i have a tundra , now ya know there is truck love for each type, but really its maintenance! Anything taken care of right will last , people pay so much for Toyota an they give awesome maintenance so
Facts!!
As I own and daily a 192k 01 330 BMW...it all comes down to maintenance. And my girl has had alot of it.
Maintenance is very important, but mileage definitely matters. Miles = wear. Everything being pretty equal, the lower milaege car will always cost less over the full length of ownership.
JR'S
Yep. I have a 1992 740 Volvo I drive daily with 485K miles. It has an all original drivetrain. Proper care and maintenance is the key.
The noise sounds like 4x4 is engaged
I like the OEM rims. They look better to me 👍👍
The Ford rims look way better and match that perfect color as well. Looks great and congrats on 200K subs!
Congrats on 200k Randy, been with your channel for nearly two years now, always enjoy and watch, I like the genuineness of your style, Keep up the Great Work and see you Soon in the next one!!! I like the silver rims better
"I think his channel died off after that video I did" love it.
What Channel xD
Stefan7020 exactly! 😂
Superior Auto Flops? 😂
Prairie State Auto Restorations sounds about right 😂
Completely true statement
There is a step that comes out of tailgate with the old man bar. I have a 2012. Nice truck for the price. Sounds like differential locker is on. The knob to the right of steering wheel. Turn it off. Looks like two tires with curved tracks coming from it. Its for posi traction when you need it.
Randy, Congratulations on the 200-K viewers. You are an honest upfront guy. You deserve the best buddy.
I'm really happy for you Randy! I subscribed to this channel around the 60k subs and look at it now! I really appreciate your effort and work and can only be thankful. You deserve all of this, all the best for you and your loved ones :) Greetings from an European fan. Keep up the good work - Cheers to AAR with a glass of Portuguese wine I'm having now :)
The crome wheels look a lot better,if you get that rust sorted it will look near perfect !!!
200k miles for 10 grand... madness. Anyway congratulations Randy for this milestone !
@@ccnixon the disposable era seems to be going with the constraints of supply with the massive demand
Congrats on 200K Randy! I have been watching for a long time and you are my favorite RUclipsr by far! It's good to see someone that can take a knock down and get right back up and keep moving forward. Thats tough to do sometimes! Keep up the great work!
Congrats on your 200k loyal followers. Known you since Uberman,m. We all just feel your sincerity and down to earth coloquial conversation around cars and stuff you do and we enjoy. Keep it going.
My 2010 Dodge Nitro SXT 4X4 is also a previous fleet vehicle then had a previous private owner and everything work's (important window work's) Black paint with leather gray/black seat's and DVD/Touch Nav. 22" Chrome Factory rim's .I have owned it for 2months no issue's i'm glad you got factory rim's can't go wrong with factory.
Great channel Randy , keeps me sane here in Brazil watching ur stuff . (.im from the UK just living out here a while )
Thank you sir
I agree, looks terrible with the tires hanging out past the fenders, I've actually lower a couple 4x4 F150's
, just not into the jacked up stuff.
So happy to be one of your first! Great channel! You always brighten my day!
FIX those cab corner rust spots fast before they will rust throught the body and make rusthole!!! It is lot easier fix those now than later when there is big hole and you need to weld new steel!!! Grind and fix with patch paint!
Yeah, wonder why the rust? Truck comes from Topeka, KS? Lots of salt used in KS?
@@73amx63 i think that is the reason. Salt is so dangerous to car and if the owner is like a "i drive and hit everything" type and do not fix dents or scrathes it will be a rustbucket when salt and weather starts make corrosion.
@@LaitinenVeeti Someone else mentioned a possible leak with water coming in through the high brake light.
I've seen a lot of cab corner rust for those F150s, its pretty common for those trucks
Veeti Laitinen just replaced cab corners and rockers on mine 2011 f150 I purchased with same mileage eco boost also oil was changed every 3000miles by previous owner
Try changing the fluid and putting the right stuff in it and drive it around and see if that fixes that usually does
I agree , did the same on my truck and it changing oil fixed it..
Same as the others posted. A fluid dump with fresh synthetic and Ford friction modifier fixed mine
Very good that you’re being more financially sound. Getting ready to open that dealership. More successes for 2020!!!
Randy, I own the same model truck. Great vehicle. I bought it used and when I first got it, it had a bad noise in the rear end that would sometimes jar the truck like I had been hit from the rear. It turned out to be a bad transmission molded leadframe. Ford issued a warranty extension on this item to 150K miles or 10 years. I know yours would be out of warranty now, but since you have the extended warranty coverage, you might want to have the Ford check this part. Good luck with the truck. I think you will really enjoy it.
The tailgate also has a step that folds out
"In that the case we would of gotten a diesel or gone and bought back the 7.3 that we sold to 'Auto' who was he again? I dont even remember that boy. I think his channel died off....."
Ouch.
Lol such shade
How about cleaning the battery post???
Eric Peterson how about replacing them🤷♂️
RIP Inferior, I mean, Superior Auto Flops, oops sorry, Flips.
Nice work! 200k is such an amazing accomplishment.
Congratulations on reaching 200k subscribers. Obviously lots of people like the way you conduct yourself and appreciate your honesty. I like the gold Ford, the factory rims look great, and they're proportionately correct for the truck. I did about the same thing with my 99 Ford Ranger. I never cared much for the steel wheels it came with. A buddy of mine turned me on to LKQ. I looked at their wheels, and found a great looking set of aluminum wheels that came off a 2011 Ranger. $80 each, put a set of tires on the new (used) rims and she looks so much nicer. Again, congratulations on 200k subs.
Sounds like a rear end issue if it happens when turning man. Could be missing friction modifier. Add some and see what happens
Front rims have a spacer
Randy the tailgate has a step that comes out of the top of the tailgate that goes along with that handle so you don't have to try and step all the way up onto the tailgate. Also, the truck shuts down after a little bit when started with the remote. My 2014 Chevy Silverado does that to. The after market wheels(Fuel) that you had on it when you bought it need to have TPMS sensors put on and then taken to the dealer to be programmed to the vehicle.
I have a 2011 ecoboost . Bought it in 2017 with 30000 miles on it.Absolutely love it . Never a problem 93000 miles now. I don’t like the chrome wheels. Changed them to black.
Congratulations looks nice. Factory rims are way better. I have a 2012 EcoBoost with over 300,000 miles on it and no major issues so far lol. My best mpg is 23 on the highway. Good luck
I get 10mpg city is that normal
Check air filter and spark plugs if you havent. Sparkies need changes every 40k miles or so. If you have a rough idle id replace them
get him the chance to fluid and put that friction stuff in the air and it should work itself in and stop if not you'll have to change the lockers
I worked for AAA once and got a call for an F150 with a dead battery. It was brand new at the time "it's a limited. Gold and red... Nicest goddamn truck on the block" I'll never forget the guy on the phone going on about his limited f150 lol. Love it!
Nice find. Looks like the right rear of the bumper was hit. These bumpers are 2 piece bumpers and really cheap and easy to replace.
Nice truck looks better whit the original rims
I have had alot of newer fords make similar noise just swap in new proper fluid and all noise gone
One more reason to like Randy---"My dog means more to me than the leather!". Much respect for that!!!! I'd try draining the diff and adding new fluid and the friction modifier. It fixed a truck I had with the same issue. Other than that, Good Luck with the newest addition to the fleet!
Congrats on the 200k subs! Looking forward to the work on this truck
Hey randy, you could say your plate says cop art. Not copart 😆
$10k for a truck that has 200k miles on it? You have lost your mind.
Kelley blue book it it’s still worth that
you theplayernkc is a dumb son of a bitch
@James McC2.4hum Thank you!
James McC2.4hum isn’t that a 5.4 & 4.6 issue? I’ve not heard the ecoboost engines suffering with this issue as well.
Paid 14500 for my 11 fx4 fully loaded with 180k on it. Paid cash though and I'd gladly do it again. Why spend 55k on a new 1? I'll have this 11 for easily another 8 years. Then buy another 1 with 150k plus pay cash and continue. So many broke people making payments lol
My sister had the same popping noise in her 08 F150. She drove it for 60,000 with no problems. She traded it off because she hit 5 deer in 9 months.
CONGRATULATIONS Randy!!
Tail gate has pull out step to go with handle
A rusty hi mileage ecoboost, in bad resale beige, wearing Brodozer wheels, for top dollar. the state won't have to worry about you making a profit on this one...
Yeah, bet whoever sold him this POS is laughing
Up here in Michigan dealers would still try to get 15,000 for that grandpa truck. No joke.
around my place that truck would be listed for 17k to 20k no joke
Jim Mcdonald What state are you in ? I’m in Michigan. Anything 4wd here is considered fucking gold. It’s terrible
The truck market is insane he could easily make a profit off this truck not sure where you are coming from.
I bought those same stock rims for my 05 F150. Better than the 22’s and low profiles that were on it!
Congratulations on the 200,000 subscribers man!! Thats a huge accomplishment!
I have one of these 3.5 EcoBoosts. I’d love to see you do a full exhaust from the turbo back. And a good intake setup would be awesome.
202K now!
Go to auto store of choice and buy limited slip additive. Sta-Lube is one common brand. Use 3/8 ratchet to unscrew the fill plug with 3/8 square on left forward side of differential. Snip the tube end and squeeze it in. Go drive in an empty parking lot and do circles both direction to work the additive into clutches. Stick-slip is the name given that condition. The clutches hold both axles to diff case. When a wheel slips that clutch keeps the free wheel from spinning free and some torque is still applied via the clutch to the tractive wheel. On pavement any wheel speed difference side to side will be too much force for clutches so they have to slip. The additive allows that slip to happen without the binding and the sudden release when the force goes high enough.
Congrats on the 200k subs Randy!
The original rims look a lot better!!
When 4x4 is engaged on concrete especially turn your wheels it it pop and jump sounds like its falling apart
You are not suppose to engage 4x4 low while driving on tarmac (or other high friction surfaces). In this situation when you turn, since the truck works “like it have a blocked central diff” (I know it doesn’t have one), it will drag one or both rear wheels, because the difference in speed between the 2 axels, it will make a noise exactly like that.
Paulo G he never said 4 low, he just mentioned 4x4
@@paulog8813 4x4 period. High or low, is NOT meant for high friction surfaces. It will blow up the transfer box.
I had an 04 with the same issues and it ended up being the spider gears where on there way out. Those factory wheels look so much better on that truck and the fuel wheels will definitely make old red look sharp.
Nice truck. Love the stock rims. Congrats on 200000 subscribers. Really enjoy your channel. Keep
the content coming and I’ll keep watching.
I prefer the OEM wheels

I’d bet so
just saw TKs malibu bumper video, and i wanted to tell you...
1. great job. that car looks great.
2. you need to get yellow "POLARIZED" glasses for driving at night. mine dont make it any less bright, but it makes it where it doesnt hurt and i dont have to squint or look away. i have the same issue driving at night. never knew our blue eyes were part of it. i got mine on "wish" for $5, they work great for night driving glasses. polarized is the magic word. fixes the glare.
Congratulations on 200k subs! Shout out to the people who helped get you there; Tim, Jessica, Weird Beard, TK (and anyone I've missed)! 👍
I'll take the fuel rims off u if ur taking them off for my f150
December 24, 2019 a day that will live in infamy. At least for superior auto flips
Lol
My Grandpa has one just like that but with two tone white and gold exterior. Beautiful Trucks!
Congrats Randy! We finally made it #200k
I would never buy a turbo model that is over 200k unless it was a diesel
117 Vlog the 3.5 twin turbo v6 is not a bad engine it’s in the Ford Taurus sho Ford Explorer Sport. They are great motors compare to the 6.0 diesel
So trueee turbo inc and if I am right they have 2 and the reason why company have eco boost is because they have good fuel economy but they get rid at like 100k cause turbo always go wrong
My 3.5 twin turbo self destructed at 67,000 miles after all factory maintenance performed and followed at the dealership. Will never have another.........
A lot of the ecoboost have issues because people would run conventional oil because it didn't specifically say synthetic oil, did and did have A Ford spec which equal synthetic
That rust has already rotted through. If you poked a screwdriver into it, it would go through
I’m not usually a fan of goldish/tanish colors but it looks damn good on this truck. I actually like it better than the red. Congrats, Randy! Those wheels look great, I hope you don’t decide to replace them with factories. 🙃
Very nice truck, Randy - amazing condition for 200,000 miles. The previous owner looked after it although he must have had an appendage issue judging by the rims - your replacement wheels are much better.
The fuel rims look better
Sell the “custom” wheels with tires. Ford wheels look great.
ew
I. Agree
Congrats on 20K! I picked up an old pontiac Grand prix and the rear kept chattering and popping.. Thats when I knew it had a posi. Doing some checking I ended up changing the rear fluid and putting in the proper stuff with the recomended additive.. A couple of hundred miles later it was nice and smooth.....
Always great content and you can guarantee having a good laugh watching you channel Randy. Congratulations on the 200k subs well deserved and I love the new truck I wish we got those in the UK 🙁....always been my favourite RUclips channel 😁👍🏻
5:30 you killed him dude
'my dog is worth more than some leather seats' spoken like a true animal lover & decent guy and a large part imo why the channel subs are going up as well as the quality content
230,000 miles on my 12 3.5 eco. Just did a water pump and HPFP for the first bit a Powertrain work in its life. They are good trucks, tow mirrors will make it unbelievably drivable
Had that happen to my 2004, it was time to replace the seals as well. Mine happened anytime you were turning or had wheel slippage.
Once I changed the seals and refilled with synthetic jear lube and friction modifier the "judder" was gone.
If you are ever in a parking lot watch any Ford truck making tight turns, almost all of them do it to a certain extent.
Time for a fluid dump and refill, the friction modifier needs replacing.
Put the fuels on the red truckkk
Is it just me or is there a clank in that truck engine
Turbo waste gate rattle. Have to replace the turbo to fix it. It's not a serviceable part.
The One I looked at these turbos I am quite sure i can repair the waste gates on these turbos .
It’s the high pressure fuel pump that mounts on the side of the fuel rail
I think that you improved the truck’s appearance and performance by installing the O.E.M rims. Good move! The noise sounds a lot like the noise my Corvette made when the friction modifier was not added to the positraction differential. I had it added at a local Jiffy Lube and after breaking it in by swerving about for a short while all was well. I suggest that you try adding the Ford approved friction modifier before spending the big bucks.
Congratulations on reaching the 200K subs!
Thanks I’ll do that
Love the new truck Randy congrats on getting up to 200k subscribers it’s cos your very entertaining keep up the good work!
The aftermarket wheels look so much better on it!
oh my....built ford tough after it doesn't start....haha that was funny
That made me laugh 😂
$10K for this POS
Go back to playing with your avatar dolls and let the men speak fucktard
I got a 2001 F150 last year for $4k with only 106,000mi. It was a company vehicle for a logging firm, so the maintenance was kept up perfectly. It ran great, but after doing some basic changes like new spark plugs, coil packs, filters, a seafoam treatment, new tires, and differential fluid change, it's perfect! Truck feels like a brand new vehicle, and is easily worth $8k today, but I'm gonna keep it because it'll last easily for another 100k mi plus.
It looks much better with OEM wheels, Randy. You are absolutely correct. Congratulations on 200k plus subs!
I got 250K on my 5.4 triton 2 valve
Randy it looks better with the new mags 😉
We bought a 2011 xlt 3.5 eb A few years ago with 186,000 for 12,500, it’s got almost 250,000 miles and it has been the best truck we’ve owned. It’s getting a built performance transmission soon, the current stock one is showing signs of getting tired, truck has also been tuned and modified since we bought it
Congratulations on 200,000 subscribers Randy, continued growth
Original wheels look better.
I used to love Ford trucks but after they changed it all I went to Chevy it's old technology but it's seriously reliable
Congratulations Randy for this milestone ! Greetings from the Swede

Pretty truck Randy! That Eco-bomb will give you PLENTY of youtube content FOR SURE! Just wait until that water-pump (in the center of the engine) designed by a non-mechanic obviously goes south🤦🏻♂️
Water pump is external on these trucks I already checked :)

Hey Randy. It would be cool if you signed up your “police car” crown Vic on UBER and did some content on rideshare again. I am sure you would get a lot of response. I am sure the passenger feedback would be interesting. Plus you could put in your opinion on what’s going on today in rideshare. Petersen needs a cheap car for him to move on from rideshare. Just a idea. Enjoy your channels

I'm sure it's been said, but there is a step that pulls out from the tail gate and makes it easier when using the old man handle. I just got mine and am really loving it!
