I figured this out the hard way back when I was liking an older man. A lot of older men tell younger black women that we are “mature” for our age and they’ve made us believe that for years. They have also fooled us into believing that we mature faster then they do as a way to excuse their behavior. If this were true then women wouldn’t be falling for they’re scamming ways as often as we do. They are a lot smarter then we give them credit for. & I hate it when women say they have desernment too. If you truly had it you wouldn’t have been in some of the situations with men that you were in😭😭
