One of my all-time favourite quotes is David Zucker talking about OJ Simpson's appearances in the Naked Gun movies. David Zucker: I directed him in the Naked Gun movies. Although he actually improved with each film, his acting remained a lot like his murdering-he got away with it, but no one really believed him.
OJ Simpson belongs to an elite group of people who are so famous that they are universally known by a shortened version of their full name (full name: Orange Juice Simpson). Other examples include Telly Savalas (full name: Television Savalas) and DLT (full name: Dave Lettuce & Tomato)
Can't stand Larry Bundy Jr. He is the type of youtuber that goes around leaving a comment on every single video and upvotes his comment on a bunch of alt accounts as a way of self promotion.
For those who think ‘Woman Who Pissed Her Pants’ in Threads is the worst IMDb credit to have, I give you ‘Assistant Midget Wrangler’ for OJ Simpson’s hidden camera DVD.
Thanks for the new vid. I find the time between new content achingly long. I've watched Liz Dawns house party video 3 times now. Its very layered, i see something new each time.. if i saw the tape in a charity shop I'd definitely buy it. Its very
This sounds similar to a prank show set around the coal industry, which never aired. The star at the time of was Jimmy Saville, and you could not keep him away from anything if miners were involved.
Loving working through your videos. Criminally low views. Someone set up a Jim'll Fix It channel a year ago but that got shut down, probably BBC copyright strikes. A shame as it would have been great content for you to feature. I created a Cook Report channel, I'm sure you could do a great episode on that. Keep up the good work!
I remember on those programmes like It'll Be Alright On The Night, Auntie's Bloomers etc they used to always show that Jim'll Fix It clip where that group of scouts are trying to eat their packed lunch on a rollercoaster and their milkshakes and yoghurts are flying all over their faces and clothes. You'd be guaranteed to see that clip on telly at least once a year. Just why is it that they never show that clip anymore?
I always remember what Ice T said about him getting away with the murders, oops I mean him being acquitted He said something along the lines of, I think he did it but him getting away with it felt like a win for black people. What a piece of dirt
i love the random archive b-roll we get instead the parts he can't show, it saves this video from being too grim... the early 00s had some very cursed media indeed
14:17 I remember seeing that look in a lady's eyes one time she was grateful that I over heard the conversation and lied and said was her boyfriend the one of the few times my scary look came in handy for someone apparently she was being stalked by the man for almost 2 years
ick yeah. I seen some 'first time reactions' to The Naked Gun on here and and think he's kinda likable as Nordberg once they got past the awkward "oh, OJ Simpson is in this?!" And to be fair he doesn't do much in it other than get beat up a lot. But yeah, this juiced thing is way more uncomfortable. He seems kinda creepy and unpleasant. And I'm glad you mentioned that he was found liable for the deaths in the civil trial that came two years after the botched criminal trial. A lot of people seem unaware of that. Ok he should have done time for it but yeah.
Becides the fact that if you look at OJ and Nicole's relationship when they were together, the cops were called out a lot because he was constantly beating her
If OJ being in it bothers you, you can check out the Police Squad TV series that these movies were based on. Everyone except for Frank Drebin is played by a different actor, so there's no OJ in that version.
@@Ceej_MM thanks, I’ll have a look when I finish work, I’m not sure if it’ll be daft funny or downright cringe 😬 To be fair anything will be better than the “comedians” the BBC have on, political rants rather than comedy
I mean, in a legal sense, while he was found innocent in the first of the two cases, the second one, a civil one, he was found guilty for the murders. Robert Kardashian couldn't argue his way out of it when the families were right there.
'So a lot of it's OJ serving or delivering food.' Even if OJ hadn't been murdering scum, that has to be one of the most desolate phrases that I've ever heard. Comedy is dead.
The response is worse so I have to like ops comment lol but the point is to just recap the whole thing and comment on it. Is this the first time you've seen a review on RUclips?
We get it. You don’t like early 2000s culture and you have something snarky to say about it. That’s fine. Here’s the thing - do that in a video titled “My Problems with 2007 America” or whatever. Don’t yammer on and on about it in a video that’s supposedly about OJ. Last thing. The “if” in “if I Did It” cover being small was a decision that Goldman family made, as they own the rights to the book. A basic Google search would have disabused you from the notion it was somehow OJ’s idea. I guess that was too much work for you.
but the whole OJ juiced programme was created because of and during that cruddy 2000s culture. It's a prime example of the unpleasant crap that came out during that time. Why did that bother you so much?

The clip of Armando Iannucci tricking OJ into the autograph confession on Friday Night Armistice was just superb.

That was her only credit. She owned it until she died a few years ago. That was her Twitter handle, quite funny.
I do enjoy the fact that no-one really understands what being "juiced" means but they pretend out of politeness or perhaps fear
yep, probably fear. :D
Presumably this was going to be a series with that as a regular catchphrase but they got so little useable footage it ends up as a sordid DVD.
OJ can now rest in peace knowing his wifes killer is now dead.
He’d been looking for her for 30 years but never found her. Hadn’t lived anywhere with mirrors since ‘94 obviously 😂
Not guilty

The 'If' aspect of the book title was at the insistence of the victim's family who obtained the rights to the book as part of the civil suit.
