Didn't think there was anything sadder than Willy Thorne gambling away his family, but there we go. In the great scheme of things, all events that have ever occurred were contained and decided in a chain of causality created the first instants of the big bang, time itself merely an illusion created by consciousness. We are all simultaneously living, unborn and long since expired. I think this video does a very good job of communicating this essential truth as an emotion, without necessarily getting into the details.

The commentary on this video is from a guy who obviously liked the world of snowflake behaviour we have today. That is so weird. I clearly remember Bella Emberg and that joke about the pigeons. It stuck in my mind because she didn't quite get the glottal stop definite article right. I was sat on the flowery carpet at my nannas, in the usually abandoned "room", where the telly got moved for a week around Christmas. If northern nannas had a front room, they just used to put ornaments up in it and leave it closed for most of the year. I think it was because they'd all grown up in houses that had one room downstairs, and didn't have a clue what you'd do with a second one. I went to hers every Sunday, but I doubt we went in "room" more than a couple of times a year outside the festive period, when it would be used to entertain the steady flow of guests who popped in to drop off a card unannounced. I remember the chairs weren't very comfortable, because they never got used and the upholstery was shop-hard. I was eating a mixture of peanuts and raisins that had been left out for the guests in one of the good bowls, next to another with quality street in. Christmas isn't what it used to be.

I'm having a flashback that I came across this when it was first on TV, but think I only watched 10mins due to something else on the other side and saying that I'll start watching that from next week. I never thought or heard about it again until now.

These are the shows that sewed the seeds for brexit. For racism. For hatIng anyone for anything that’s different to the norm. These shows are what gave us this horrible country that thinks mocking you is a fun personality trait I hated and loved watching this back. Disgusted at the trash we used to consume. Thanks for doing this. It needs to be remembered for all the reasons you pointed out. This country was never good. It was just what we were use too
