Brian is essentially an artist who performs his own songs… he has learned over the years from multiple sources and rather than simply do what they taught, he hears, learns and gets curious. More information, more ideas, more searching for better answers. Sometimes so much information, but all so many pieces and parts. He can indeed step on some stuff because it is not complete or “exactly” as we think. But in the end, and endless search for what maybe best, or better or simply good for the moment. Just saying…..you can grow with him. Or resent his assertions…
Mind absolutely blown! Always thought I had to pull the handle and struggled with a two way miss, especially off the tee. The tumble has unlocked my game. Thanks for sharing!
I can remember Brian talking about how angles are not planes in his early RUclips videos (2D vs 3D)...it must be 10 years ago or more. I've been a fan ever since as he has such a great way of explaining difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. Thanks for having him on again!
Based on Mr. Manzellas data and since 90 percent of golfers already tumble over the top wouldn’t it make sense that creating a more dynamic pivot would be exactly what they need to balance the forces? I think this is why my coach Milo Lines and some other big names are so successful at fixing over the top moves by simply focusing on building better more powerful pivots.
Tumbling is the word Brian uses to describe the motion of the clubhead as it moves from behind your hands to in front of the hands. Tumble too much, too early, clubhead will be steep and you'll be steep. Tumble too little too late and you'll be under plane. Hope that helps.
I have listened to this three times and I still don't really understand what Brian is saying and I would bet a lot of money that when he gives a lesson to someone they don't improve.
24:17 Malaska /Nicklaus story priceless- Brian M is very undervalued as instructor- imagination spurs insight - great segment

I listened to this on Spotify and had to rewatch on RUclips. Brilliant podcast.

Awesome stuff !!!!!
Great show, thanks Mark and Brian!
I wonder where lag fits in to the tumble move.
Jim Hardy calls it RIT (right arm inwards throw)

Good show Brian. Dr Jack😂
His accent has both Bayou and NYC Italian mafia 😂
I'm not sure if this is correct but this seems a lot like Montes no turn cast drill
The malaska move....watched it 100 times....still can't do it😂😂😂
So true it hurts lol
Tumbling the club lol

How much and where are you located? I'll take that bet and we could video your lesson with Brian 😊
Last week on the Be Better Golf RUclips channel, Brian turned a girl’s slice into a draw in less than 6 minutes. Check out the video.
