Yo. Your content is great, I love your attitude, I look forward to more from you. But one thing I'll say is -- if ever you wanted, you could do more on Zbrush. To give an example of what I mean: ruclips.net/video/Oc4rtouTeqo/видео.html -- I just was having this problem, and it's apparently common enough for someone to make a video addressing it. I'm also pretty sure you can address this (and many other ZBrush topics) in a minute or less, with greater clarity. So hey, just a thought.
@@ComixProductions It's a "radio announcer" voice. It's the normal voice, but the words are emphasized differently and stuff like that. (I know a few professional announcers.) Try it yourself: talk like he did in the last video.
I must say the voice really kept things more interesting. So many tutorial videos out there don't have an appealing voice and it really detracts from their content.
You don't sound that different to me. Still love you and your ambition and engagement all the more! Plus, I'm super eager for streams! Helps with the long sessions of doing rando stuff in 3D.
Honestly? The voice matched the purpose of the tutorials: to be quick, concise, and useful. The fact that it was a character voice and not your natural way of speaking is a little surprising, but not overly so: it's been clear from the start a lot of thought and effort went into these videos. Changing up the voice is just even more effort, it makes sense. It set the videos apart from other creators, and now that it's done its job and garnered an audience, maybe a different style is in order. No harm in experimenting; disseminating and spreading knowledge is not an exact science, and depends on differences in teachers and in students, so... go nuts, throw stuff at the wall, see what sticks. You've certainly earned more than enough credibility by now. Best of luck with all your endeavours, good sir.
so basically your same voice but more relaxed instead of the amped up joey wheeler version. I look forward to seeing what you have to show us in the future
Voice reveal to stronk. To be fair you say people sub to you just for your knowledge but personally for me I sub for your kind heart and putting yourself out there for what you love to do and share with others that's expressive to me and making a game is expressive to. I Sub for what you know and for who you are as a person in my opinion. Being expressive and also giving the knowledge you know to others as the main focus of the channel can be balanced and it is an expression in itself to do such a commitment and to enjoy it. That's just my 2 cents on it. I look forward to your future endeavors and I support ya.😁
Honestly I look forward to your "How to Think" tutorials if that's where this is going. I really think learning how to plan out your workload or curriculum is often undervalued.
oh yes thank you, as someone who tends to obsessively plan out all of my projects to make sure i'm doing them as optimally as possible and who worries whenever i don't know what the best way to do something is, efficiency advice is going to be immensely appreciated and it's something that is very hard to learn about.
that's awesome man! reminds me of myself at my first job at an ice cream shop, I decided to help a customer while talking to them in an australian accent, but then the next person in line asked me about it and I ended up having to keep it going through a rush! Thanks for all the excellent advice and direction, will definitely keep your services in mind moving forward. PEace!
I always enjoyed the idea that someone who sounded like a cab driver from some 80s comedy was a great 3D teacher. Glad your real voice isn't all that different and that your continuing mission isn't either. Thanks for all the useful and concise tutorials over the years. :)
Dude, you quite literally taught me how to tackle challenges in blender i couldn't find a solution of, thank you so much P.d: once i have the independence too, youll be the first person whose patron im joining
Wow! It's like Joey Wheeler just grew up and beat Kaiba. Honestly, I started watching you for a quick walking animation tutorial for my prototype character and stood for just the way you make your videos. The content does not even apply to my field anymore, but I still keep watching and recommend you to my students. Bless you and your channel 🙏🏼
Honestly man, if it weren’t for you I’d never be as decent as I am with blender. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into helping people learn these complex programs. Wish you the best man.
Been watching for awhile and though I rarely get time to put any work in, watching your videos helps me slowly work through the burnout and get back into my projects.
Looking forward to the future! As someone who is trying to make a small indie game with a friend your channel has been invaluable, so thank you for everything so far.
When you're scared that your hero will drastically change but then you realize you don't know language enough to tell the difference. A sigh of relief.
Hey man, I have been watching your videos for a long time! I don't know how long really... And I think this might be a good time to thank you for all that you tought me. Right now I'm working full time as a Technical Artist(but I also take on rigging and animation stuff in the company). I have to give you so much of the credit for having a job that I love right now, because I learnt a lot of the things I use daily from your channel. Thanks for everything
@@MrGATOR1980 Basically we're all in new territory. He's learning as he goes same as any of us are. He's learning new software and talking about other stuff that we go through as artists.
Now the videos will be more about my weaknesses, I might give a serious amount of attention to them as well. Also, once again, nice to meet you sir, hope we'll get along even better in the future.
The voice reveal makes me think when a character pulls out a fake mask only to share the same face beneath. Jokes aside, thank you so much for making these videos :3
I see this channel going in an amazing direction! 1. Learn all the tools 2. Learn all the theory to use the tools 3. Profit! I am excited for all the new content you'll be bringing us. And just another thing. I totally watched these videos because it's you. Just because you make it fun to learn something. Even if I don't really need it. I watched a number of your videos and can always recommend one of yours when I see someone having trouble with a certain thing that you made a video about. Because I know that YOU make good tutorials.
your normal voice is just like your youtube voice but slower...still the Royal Skies i look up to...i learned a lot from you bro..and hope to learn a lot more...more power
I am glad to be have been part of this learning experience with ya for the past 3 years Royal Skies. I also figured the voice was actually yours to begin with but just speed up a tiny bit. Ya have a nice voice. I'm also looking forward to the future of the channel/content.
I mean some youtubers feel the neeed to make a character to preform in there videos I and most in the gaming, Table Top, unboxing and tech communities don't feel the need to. Instead we are who we are and over time we refine our selves with the expernce of RUclips. This is your refinement and honestly I'd thought you sound TV americain or completely differnt and you don't... In fact your natutral accent sounds really good and smooth compaired to the comady one. Congrats on your progress can't wait to see where your 3D digital art skills go next!
I've sent your channel to so many people who needed guidance, or just needed to figure something but couldn't find a way to do it, or if they did, the tutorials would be 10-20 mins long. Your channel is an amazing free resource and it's helped so many people get better. Thanks for everything! Looking forward to future videos
sounds roughly the same to me, but I am bad at picking out voices. I can't wait to see what else you have enstore for us. Though I really wished someone had a hood tutorial that has the hood down and not on the head as I can't make it like how it should be.
real voice sounds pretty same to me, just slowed down a bit. I thought you spoke fast and emphasized words to get key points across better because of the nature of your tutorials. Or maybe since I'm non-native English speaker, I can't understand or find the difference... don't think it will bother anyone... though excited to go on the journey of unreal, substance and realistic anatomy with you and all.
I mean I knew you were putting on an enunciated accent, even if that became the norm. But your normal accent is so similar that I just chalk it up to being the normal version of the "youtuber" voice, where everything is presented instead of described.
An Issue I have with Dall-e is... Is it a fake? Is it just a search engine? Who owns the rights to their work? Like these can be answered if Dall-E was open sorce and any one could see their code and database... Also it seem like theirs bio are making a deseptive marketing push to what ends I don't know... I feel bad for Dall-E as I pretty sure their are being handled poorly and abusively.
Only thing left to do now is go for it - Hope you guys look forward to the new adventure -

Thanks man for the tutorial, you're amazing!
I think the most shocking part is that you've been doing a voice this entire time
I genuinely thought it was his real voice for some reason 💀
