The shirt turned out great. I am a new EM 1010 user and I have a question about appliqué. If iI purchase an appliqué design and want to run it on my machine, does the machine automatically know to stop after the placement stitch or do I need to program it? Do you use paper or magnetic bobbins.

Hi! I use magnetic bobbins. If you are doing an applique design, you have to assign different thread colors for the placement stitch and tackdown stitch. You set the embroidery machine from AA to AM, and the machine will stop in every color change.

Do you have a video showing how to do that?

Yes, but I can make a short video explaining how to do it. I'm traveling right now, but I will do it when I return home😊
