True but no one watched it on STARZ they watched it on Netflix after, as Bruce Campbell himself has said. I watched on STARZ, maybe you did too, but that wasn't enough to keep the show going. :(
@@michaelthomas5433 It was hard to find it here in the UK so I only could watch it once it came to Netflix so what you're saying makes perfect sense. Bruce Campbell should be in more stuff, truly underrated actor
I love Evil Dead but that's a lot of monies. Also, this does indeed seem like a one shot or perhaps several short sessions rather than any kind of campaign. Not a deal breaker but I would rather have a setting for a full campaign similar to Call of Cthulhu.
Hi there. Thanks for finding me and watching and commenting. I totally agree. I think we need to know more about the campaign side before fully investing in this book. I think I’ll PDF most likely as I think it’ll make an interesting one shot/mini campaign but I fear one played, it would just sit on my shelf
Unfortunately my personal integrity won't let me support HASWoTC in any way shape or form. I wouldn't have even clicked on this if D$D was in the title. But if I were to somehow acquire a PDF without the algo finding out, I may use it for Tales of the Valiant ( A 5e clone with no ties to Wizards of Hate ).
Tales does looking a very good replacement to 5e. I'm returning back to Pathfinder this year so see how that goes. Failing that, TotV seems a good option. I just don't see any long term play from The Evil Dead and I even reached out to the designers who ignored me so I dropped my pledge. Thank for you watching and commenting and have a great New Year where ever you are!
I guess it’s now the default system for a lot of people and the 2024 5e rules aren’t too different either from 2014 so they’re hoping it’ll help sell the book. It does look amazing, I totally agree (apart from the Ash art) Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
It's a crime that "Ash vs Evil Dead" was cancelled.
I totally agree. I loved that series (and annoyingly couldn't remember it's name during this recording)

I watched it on Starz....up until the ashy slashy stuff then I checked out.
This was one of the first DVDs I ever bought, I love the whole trilogy! Will definitely check the KS out. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
Especially the Army of Darkness , what a bloody sequel! I’m on the pdf for now and might go up in the PM

Absolutely no AI
That's great to hear
What's terrifying is that this is for 5e, but Evil Dead is an amazing franchise, gotta love it!

Wish it was its own thing, not 5E.
From the comments I’m reading, you’re far from alone in this
@Dungeonsanddyslexia it is for 2024.
@zenkinet1 sorry, 5e is what we like to play and that's what we are making it for.
Some of the art in the campaign looks algorithm generated, so it's gonna be a hard pass.
It is by far the worst part of the book
