This is great , Matt sounds like Tom . Before damaged hes voice with AVA. And also hes a Great Guittar player. It sounds really cool. Skiba is a big yes for me. I ben a fan from Blink 182 since i remember... Yes he fit. Sorry for my bad english is not my mother lenguage.
I think Matt has done a brilliant job filling in. I have always felt tension onstage ever since the reunion between Tom and the rest of the band for some reason.... this feels like a breath of fresh air now tbh... even though Matt can never replace Tom.
I'm a Blink fan and everything... Ahh hell, Matt is doing a great job. It deffinatly sounds like '99 era Blink Matt even looks like '99 Tom with his cap on backwards. Matt always left a more serious type of guy impression on me.
I can't believe that i actually think i can get used to this. Plus Matt's guitar rig somehow possesses a classic blink 182 sound. And I love that! Way to go guys!
It sounds like old blink again, Tom isn't ruining old songs by forcing his new style in singing and playing Into them, mark can now play a lot of their older stuff which the fans adore, Matt plays all their old songs like old Tom did, and sings then the way old Tom did. And you can tell mark is now happy because it's like playing with the Tom Delonge of the 90s, of course there will never ever be the back and forth Tom and mark had as they were best friends since they were teens, but musically wise it's a rebirth of the old blink
People need to realize, Tom is done. It's just wishful thinking at this point. He has moved on and so has the band. I think Matt is doing a much better job than Tom has done since the reunion. I just turned 30 years old and watching this makes me feel 16 again!! I will always miss Blink 182 with Tom (pre-1st break-up) but this is 100x better than Blink 182 with new and not improved Tom.
Matt Skiba helps with Blink 182s punk cred. Although its kind of funny because Fat Mike is best friends with Skiba and I watched a video where Fat Mike says something like, "Blink 182 called and now Skiba is in Blink 182" It made me crack up, I can only imagine Fat Mike's reaction when he was first told about Skiba joining Blink.
I think Mike respects blink and understands what they're doing and their role in the scene. Mike even did bass tech on a few songs a couple years ago for mark and they hugged it out on stage. I think mike likes to hate on blink because it's easy but it's also pretty tongue in cheek.
I loved tom because he didn't sound like any other singer, he had his own unique voice. Yeah maybe 1 out of every 10 people liked him, but that doesn't matter. When you listen to a band for 15 years the singers grow on you, and when they leave a band you've learned to know and love, its hard to accept that they're gone. I don't know, maybe Matt will be good, he's got a good voice and I have nothing against him, but fuck...this is a hard transition for me.
Tom has not been good live since I-Empire came out in 07. I saw blink on their first tour after they reunited in 09 and it was garbage. Matt Skiba is doing a fantastic job, and if you are gonna trash anyone, don't trash him for being asked by the other two band mates to join.
Ok instead of complaining, well I could, but I have enough on these videos already...he should take Skiba and maybe make him a member of +44 potentially? I mean who knows if the other guys would come back since it's been since 2006 you know? People are saying like, "name it another band, not blink" I'm thinking that Mark wants to get the most out of the blink-182 name before he hangs up the bass or does something else and I don't blame it...................but Skiba sucks on Dysentary Gary and All The Small Things..sorry I couldn't hold back
All the small things.. yes I can agree Skiba wasn't that great. But come on.. He nailed Dysentery Gary! IMO this is the best Blink 182 song suited to his voice.

I like matt is nice to hear blink182 again :D but tom delonge will always be there in my heart

I would rather have a rebranded "blink-182 w/ Matt Skiba" than a new band of even a revamped (+44) playing blink songs every once in a while myself.
