I’m heading into the nursing program in august, and I get sick to my stomach thinking about everything I’m about to go through. But I’m excited as well. I just can’t wait to see RN behind my name.
I start next semester. I’ve worked my butt off to get this far and I can’t wait. My brother was in a bad car accident when I was in high school and I will never forget those nurses that helped him. They inspire me to this day.
This is my exact reasoning for becoming a nurse as well. I feel like I owe it to them for saving my brother. I just got accepted to nursing school and start in May. So scared and nervous.
I wanna be a registered nurse when i grow up. Im 15 at the moment, i wanna be a registered nurse because i wanna help people like how they helped my family. I also wanna be a registered nurse because of the pay and i wanna be able to support my family. I hope when i get older i see this comment again and reply to saying “You did it”.
I'm taking classes for LPN program and I'm intimidated by the fact that I'm a veteran and I'm older than most people but I want to succeed. I used your videos to help me with my prerequisites to be accepted into the program. I've been a nurse all my life, I just wasn't being paid.
Congrats on starting nursing school this fall! My channel and website will be right here to help you get through the program and become a nurse. I'm honored to help! Enjoy the summer!
Same I can’t wait to get accepted a little advice tho ladies for my CNA’s try to do travel or agency jobs while going through school so you can make the amount you deserve and fit your schedule to how you like it
You're one of the best nurses online. I've followed you for years and I finally made it to college I start nursing school in the fall. I've been doing pre reqs for over a year and its HARD. I don't know how i will do once I'm on my nursing program
I’m starting my first semester tomorrow! And I just found out that I got accepted into the program so I am very nervous and anxious about starting on the wrong foot. But still very excited and happy about the opportunity !
I'm starting nursing school tomorrow and i'm definitely nervous. I'm trying to work on not stressing out because i'm the type of student that tends to be negative and constantly doubt myself. :( Wish me luck!
i'm gonna start in a month. I'm really nervous. There is a lot to study....i dont know if i should do it. I was stuck between radiography or nursing.... but finally chose nursing ahhhh
Baby you got this ! You're going to make it through and next you know it you'll be a nurse and making that doe and helping people and finally getting the recognition you deserve
Thank you so much for the great insights. I will be starting my Nursing program in less than a month (August 2021) and I believe your tips will be very helpful.
Pre reqs: English, Anatomy&physiology, Microbiology, and General Psychology. 1st semester: fundamentals of nursing practice (lecture and lab/Mon&Wed), Health assessment(Wed), and Clinicals (Tues&Thurs) Anatomy and physiology II (lecture and lab/Mon&Wed)
Hi everyone. Must say this video is very interesting as I will be stepping foot as my first time in LPN classes. I’m from New Jersey I’m 34 yrs old. I wanted to do this years ago and lost focus. But now I have focus as my mom doing EMT which inspired me to try this again. I start class in September and can’t wait to learn something new and actually understand everything that was ever told to me in the hospital. I’m excited and can’t wait to see where this goes
Am starting nursing school soon & I would like to, what are some of the things that you do for anxiety , anxious, and about be more comfortable with the study and test. Your video are very extremely informative and gives me hope for dealing with my semester….💪🏾
Thank you for your insight, commitment to service excellence. I'm in my 1st semester and struggling. But I ended up with 9 classes. 4 extra due to my TEas score. I am finding it difficult as a 49 year old to manage so many classes
Thanks for your video! My 1st semester will be: Clinical Pathophysiology, Health assessment and Lab, Pharmacology in Nursing, Foundations PT-Centered Care, Foundational Nursing Skills. So nervous!!
I’m thinking of going to nursing school because I love helping people and the pay I’ve never been good in school but I’m optimistic for college and living on my own
Thank you so much for the time and the effort you apply when making these videos!! I start school soon and am super anxious about the core classes. much love from MD!!!
Starting my 1st semester next month after almost 2 years of prerequisites. Nervous excited scared. Crazy before the semester even starts we have a dosage calculation exam that we have to get a 95% on and if we don't they drop you. Nothing like a congratulations you got it and then "oh you need to pass this exam before the semester even starts" lol
I'm so nervous for this upcoming fall. My school's handbook and at orientation say that 95% or above will be an A, and there is no extra credit whatsoever. Ahhhh
You can do it! My channel and website has many free study resources to help you study for those exam. Here are all my lectures (and each lecture has a free quiz and notes with it): ruclips.net/p/PLQrdx7rRsKfWwTsEG3KPPQx9rWa8AqMIk I wish you the best, Kris!
I am a LMT, LPTA, CMLD/LT, OPTA and have decided to start taking pre req for nursing. I will start my dual enrollment next fall. It will be ADN and BSN at the same time.
I start my first semester of nursing school in a few weeks, and the classes are Health Assessment, Mental Health Nursing, Foundations of Nursing Practice, and Pharmacology 1. Very nervous, anxious, and excited! I'll also be starting my first simulation lab and clinicals. Any tips to handle these?
Hello Nikki :) It is very awesome you will be starting in a few weeks. I actually have a playlist that contains videos I've created on how to study for these classes. There are individual videos that cover the classes in-depth along with other videos that may help you with clinical tips. Here is the playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLQrdx7rRsKfWBO40qeDmmaMwMHJEWc9Ms I hope that helps, and best wishes this semester :)
Hi Sarah, So I just got passed the first semester. It is currently summer vacation, and I been attempting to enjoy my time, get more rest, and work, but this has made me feel guilty. Second semester is around the corner, and im real nervous because of comments classmates are making. I have begun to cover skills, assessment, and calculations because I feel it will be very important this semester. Lately I am worried for my exams, and the nclex. I want to be successful and be good at what I do. Im not as great at answering nclex questions even though in a given situation I can maneuver my way around. (I just want to be better) I just dont know where to begin since there is so much to cover. I been following your channel for a long time. I have no one else to turn to. It would mean so much if you could suggest me things I can do to improve myself or keep my self busy. I hope you will be able to get back to me thanks a bunch.
I’m waiting for my private university they can do a degree audit since I’m at 197 credit hours, 55 courses at community college. August 2019 - May 2024 😊 3 associates degrees in general studies, biology science and engineering science and now a BSN student fall 2024 will start ☺️
I'm 48 dropped out of jr college with a 0.67 GPA which is basically ann Ds and Fs nothing high. I've also never had a job. I have no experience. Should I still do it?
Awee your video is really helpful, inspiring and it gave more confidence in taking nursing. Thank you so much! A lot of what you said especially your tips and advices really got me. Thank you for the time and effort😊😁
Am trying to study ahead so as to knw wat to expect when um gonna do the nursing coarse it will be a dream come true coz I want to help those suffering frm vulnerable diseases although I HV much pressure at the age of 16 but I believe I can make it
I was thinking about going to a BSN program in Kentucky. The more I thought about it, the more I was like why should I. If the hospital wants me to have BSN, they can pay for it. I already I have a bachelor's and Master's degree (nursing will be my second career).
I had to to take patho as my prereq, no bonus was given and I ended up with a B-. I start my BSN program today and we have clinical for 12 hr shifts one day a week the first semester.
Hi again, April :) Thanks for sharing your experience and that is awesome you got a B- with no bonus. Patho is an extremely tough course, and it sounds like you will do great in your BSN program. I hope you have a great semester :)
Yes, I have a series on solving dosage and calculations and each video comes with a free practice quiz: ruclips.net/p/PLQrdx7rRsKfUYdl0TZQ0Tc2-hLlXlHNXq Then I have NCLEX lectures where I cover pharm and diseases (I include everything together): ruclips.net/p/PLQrdx7rRsKfWwTsEG3KPPQx9rWa8AqMIk I hope that helps :)
I am a night shift CNA and it is hard.. cuz it is hard but I think since I am a highly emotional person, I like it.. but it is super super hard to be a registered nurse.
I am currently in the legal field and after 24 years I want to change my career to nursing. Now in my late 40s, I wonder if I'm too old to start over. My end goal is a nursing Ph.D. with focuses in oncology and AI/data science. That is at least 4-5 years.
@ RegisteredNurseRN Happy new year and may God bless you and your loved ones 🎆🎊🎉🎆🎊🎉. If I could be 80% to 85% as great of a knowledgeable, compassionate Nurse such as yourself I would be BEYOND ECSTATIC and SUPER THANKFUL not to mention over the moon🤞🙏🙏👍 to God the almighty architect.....let's see what he has in hidden up his sleeve for me in 2019🤔😊😋
I am interested in going to nursing school but I'm debating entering an associates program (and work as an rn and work on a bsn) or go to a bsn program fully what's your advice
Hello :) Either way you want to do it is great. Many people obtain an ADN and work for a while and then go back for a BSN. Many work places are pushing for nurses to have a BSN (however, it varies...some are strict about it, while others just want those RN initials). I would look at the local hospitals in your area and see what they require or call them. I have a video on the differences between an ADN and BSN degree if you would like to watch it: ruclips.net/video/n2qAT7BQFwY/видео.html
Is there a resource you recommend to practice critical thinking questions for the various classes. I'm a person that really needs practice to gear my mind in that way.
i’m gonna be applying to my school’s program in january and they only take in students once a year i’m so excited yet so scared that i won’t be accepted 😖

I’d love to go to school for nursing school. English is my second language, not sure how hard will be 😢
I am currently in the legal field and after 24 years I want to change my career to nursing. Now in my late 40s, I wonder if I'm too old to start over. My end goal is a nursing Ph.D. with focuses in oncology and AI/data science. That is at least 4-5 years.

Wow am starting my nursing school next year in January
My first semester is going to start on Jan 11, 2021 and i am so excited but little bit nervous too.
My program doesn't allow students to pick and choose instructors.
do nursing programs where you don't need any prerequisites but high school diploma exist? I'm an EMT trying to get into nursing
Did you have any free time in the afternoons? Because I’m 15 and I’m about to go into nursing in the fall, and my whole year is full of plans
Nursing degree is very noble professional compared other degree in college
Starting my nursing course very soon
Thank you sooo much.
Oh God bless financially and I reach my dream I want to study nursing but 😢😢

If you become a nurse in one state do you have to start over if you move to another?
i’m gonna be applying to my school’s program in january and they only take in students once a year i’m so excited yet so scared that i won’t be accepted 😖
Don’t worry but it’s always good to have backups. Chamberlain university is a really good option.
i'm here cause I don't wanna enter BSN being dumb, or not knowing anything.
Thank you
I am also a nursing student. I wanna be a nurse in the USA but I don't know how can I do it. I hope one I can do it❤
