This is one of my favorite songs from the game. I heard it the first time and stopped playing to listen to it all the way through.
I must say, Horizon Zero Dawn touched me deeply with its soundtrack and story in a way that only one other game (Ori and the Blind Forest) has done.

I had not heard such a good soundtrack since Interstellar.
The story is very High Tech and all points make a lot of sense, plus it is very emotional.
Great game and great soundtrack. Worth every cent spent on it. I have already reached the end several times and I will continue.

Funny you should mention Interstellar because having seen that film the plot of H:ZD was somewhat ruined for me. Because the world is quite obviously the result of Interstellar's Plan B.

I feel this track, Aloy’s struggles, her determination, gritting teeth- blood, sweat, tears, heartache. She pushes forward to uncover the mysteries of her past only to find it haplessly entangled with the world as she knows it today.
At times, she may have wanted to give up, at times she may have even wanted to quit not knowing why she even bothered with a group of people that considered her an outcast- then dealt with suffering or loss so great from an incident that nearly costed her life. Her fate is also the fate of the world she lives in for she is the only one- the only one that can fix the sins of a forbidden past that could destroy all that she’s ever known.

I am completely obsessed with HZD, including the soundtrack :D I can't seem to find the song that plays in Meridian right after Aloy says goodbye to Erend (quest the Sun Shall Fall) though??? It was really peaceful guitar music. I loved that part with Aloy and Erend (they're my favorite together) so wanted to be able to listen to the soundtrack
