I'm back after a quick forced break ! TLOU is awesome, The Mandalorian is coming next month & lots of exciting new projects for the channel soon (scoring an amazing short film at the moment & preparing my streaming setup 👀) so make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss anything!
I honestly wasn’t expecting this episode to be that heart breaking. I didn’t realize I was crying till halfway into it lol. But this was written amazingly. I know some people are kinda bugged that it didn’t play out like the game but seeing this side of bill was different. Even seeing frank alive instead of dead. Props to the writers and to both Nick and Murray.
@@JeremyBraunsMusic when you get the chance go for it. It’s one of the best story driven games out there. As for the show it’s amazing so far. I’m scared for the rest of it 😂
I was NOT expecting this episode to be so wholesome and sad. As a guy, I RARELY cry to tv shows, movies etc. (Only time I cried was watching one piece and WALL-E), but progressing through this episode, and seeing their relationship build up was so perfect and the ending was heart-wrenching
Frank "take me to the boutique... Where i'll pick outfits for us... You will wear what i ask... And we will get married... And you'll cook a delicious dinner... Then you will crush all of these up... Put them in my wine... I will drink it... Then you'll take me by my hand... Bring me to our bed, and i will fall asleep in your arms." Bill: "This isn't the tragic suicide at the end of the play... I'm old... I'm satisfied... And you were my purpose."
Bill was pretty cool how he survived for so long with his traps. I'm glad we got a satisfying ending . All in all he had a pretty good life wasn't alone and in the world of last of us that's more than most people.
This episode struck a chord really hard at home yesterday night... My husband's grand mother passed from SLA 10 years ago, and it left the whole family pretty traumatized by the event and how it ended for her (and it wasn't pretty). So to see this on this episode... we felt it... like real hard... And the music of the scene, for me, was just the cherry on the top of the sobbing mess that I was. It was just an emotional masterpiece !
Three episodes in and the shows already pulling at our heartstrings; breaking our hearts and giving us as much thrilling suspense and excitement week by week. First Joel’s daughter Sarah died in his arms episode 1 Tess got bitten/infected and sacrificed herself for Joel and Ellie episode 2 And now Bill and Frank too 💔😢 after we got a whole backstory for them, how they met fell in love and became each other’s purpose and world in the midst of it all and chose to leave together. They’ve all sacrificed and done so much for Joel and Ellie to keep moving forward and I can’t wait to see the rest of it. Also, May Annie Wershing who did the voice of Tess in the video game rest in peace, I’m sure she loves this every bit as all of us 🙏💗
Ngl. This music hits me right in the feels after this episode. I cried. And this beautiful piece of music along the incredible acting is what caused it. Such a beautiful episode
Such a beautiful story. This episode was f*cking awesome. I am so very grateful, that they changed the way both of them died. IT IS PURE MASTERPIECE. Love it.
I can't stop being emo after watching this eps for almost a week, I keep watching and keep crying. The story hits me so hard. What a great love in a such world. This music soaks me in the heart breaking and beautiful dream again and again.
DIdn't expect TLOU theme to fit seeamlessly into "The Nature of Daylight" I immediately recognised it by ear. It was also used in the film Arrival I believe. Update: You would recognise it from Shutter Island as well.

Jesus, what an episode in an otherwise mediocre/good show so far. It completely blew all the previous performances away. I hope this episode will be remembered on how to write a loving relationship. Cause current TV seems to have completely lost how to do that.
The story of bill and frank take you on a beautiful unexpected masterpiece of a tabboo love story that will captivate you, humble you and make you appreciate the " camaraderie and the love these two stangers grew .....Never thought to connect with a story of gay love but that to was unexpected sob.
This is a great masterpiece, altough i think it would give more power if you add those drums from the beginning to the part with the violin where the banjo starts (1:21) , please can you try that for me ☺

It broke my heart it was a amazing episode
What if they put this in the game let's say playable for 1hr-2hr one of these characters might have been great 🤣

Yea it made of Bill an actually lovable character. Whereas he's just a grumpy survivalist in the game that is hard to sympathise with.

Masterclass!
Nick Offerman deserves the Oscar for his role of Bill.

I was so touched and literally cried by the end of this episode. It was so overwhelming.
A Screenplay. Masterpiece. Thanks Craig, Neill, and all the people who work on this awesome show.
I used to hate Neill on how he did Joel dirty in Part II of the game but now I feel like he has redeemed himself with this show and I forgive him
