    Hi. If you are still on here, i would suggest removing the '9' from the title, as this is still exactly the same in Logic Pro X in 2021. Very helpful to me.

    Hi Josh, great stuff!
    Thanks a lot for those vids, they are really great and your explanations are crystal clear!
    I'm just not too sure if I understand the difference between a monophonic and a polyphonic LFO. Does monophonic mean that the motion is continuous from one note to the other while polyphonic implies that the rate starts back at 0 every time? A bit in the same way that the soft vs hard oscillation button works?
    Cheers!

    Are you using Logic v 9.1.8? That's what I am using but at 9min and 58 seconds of the video, when I click on my "Via"; I don't have OSC Scale listed in the "Via" menu. So I have no clue why its not showing up in the via drop down box column. Any feedback?

    • @robtriton
      @robtriton 9 лет назад

      Robert Valdez OK nevermind :-) I sorted it out all of the OSC options are there in the drop down "Via" menu.

    Hi MusicTechHelpGuy,
    Quick question (even though I'm fairly sure you don't check these comments anymore)
    When one wants to record a modwheel-movement (as seen here, as if to control when an LFO should kick in), how do you do that exactly?
    Do you put the channel on latch or write and control in manually while playing? Or do you have to record it somehow?
    Thanks!

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  7 лет назад +1

      +Bibliothekaresse modulation wheel and other continuous controller automation has to been done in the MIDI draw portion of the piano roll editor. You can write it and edit it. This was called hyper draw in logic 9

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  7 лет назад +2

      +MusicTechHelpGuy just search up my channel and midi automation I know have a video on it somewhere

    • @Bibliothekaresse
      @Bibliothekaresse 7 лет назад

      Alright, it's a continuous controller. Yeah, I'll rewatch that tutorial. I've been having issues with automation in general, but you have been the most helpful master I could have never wished for. Thanks!! (I'll support your patreon as soon as I'm off uni)

    Thank you so much ! I just have a big problem there. If someone can help me, i would be very grateful...
    (sorry for my potential english language mistakes, I am french...)
    I made a sound with the ES2 using these amazing tutorials. I am using LFO number 2 to make the amplification of the sound go up and down 4 times a bar using a squared function. It is primordial for me that the wave starts in it's lower part. Is there any ways to change the start point of the wave ? Basically I want to select "soft" on the LFO numbert 2 and not "free".
    Thank you very much for reading this comment ! I would be very happy if someone could answer me !

    • @minecraftfiziktim9692
      @minecraftfiziktim9692 9 лет назад

      +Minecraft FiZiktim Nope ! Nearly worked but the effect is present defferently on each note... What if I only want all the notes to be affected by the same wave ? Thank you for reading !

    this video in brief;
    press alt + k to open key commands
    find the command you want to assign a button to
    press learn assignment
    hit the button
    also what this video didn't show you, if you're using velocity sensitive pads then the buttons might not behave as you'd expect... you have to go to controller assignments window (command + k) and make sure that the velocity range is set from 0 to 127.
    :)
