I love the fact that on your videos, you point out what season the fragrance works best in. I'm barely starting to understand the note break downs and since you point out the season, it helps gage whether it's fresher or sweeter. Love the videos man keep it up!
I tried them both at the store a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised by Eros EDT but Flame simply blew me away! I love the orange note and I had been looking for a long time for a fragrance with that note that I actually liked. Eros is just brilliant in every aspect. And I'm 46, so not very much in the demographics of this line. I'm going to buy it anyways. Great video , Dallas!

I love Eros Flame for summer and Eros EDT for winter. Haven't tried the Eros EDP. Still got that big boy 200 ML bottle of the EDT so it just seemed redundant to get the EDP.

I have a 2021 bottle of edt & its amazing. I can still smell it on my laundry basket when going to wash the clothes I wear it with...
My bottle of Eros EDT is fairly new (end of 2020 I believe) and it still performs fantastic. Granted I can't compare it to older batches, but on it's own it's great.

I think mine lasts fir 5 hours
The new 2021 batch says ‘eau de toilette’ on the front and the performance is terrible. Projects for around an hour before it becomes a skin scent and completely fades in around 5 hours.
My 2020 batch lasts 9+ hours and smells identical to my 2016 bottle. Reformulated rumors are incredibly annoying because 90% of the time it's not true and it just tricks people into buying the most expensive flanker that was recently released. I think the fragrance manufacturers probably encourage the rumors.
The problem is not about reformulation. It is about fake bottles. Eros EDT may be "the" most faked fragrance of all times. Even some drug stores and reputed websites may sell fake bottles.
It has never been super long-lasting. It lasts about 6-8 hours. However its projection was and still is fantastic. Much better than EDP.
Just grab a travel atomizer and spray once every three hours. You'll get comments.
Can you do a video on Olfactory overload or nose blindness, I feel like when people comment on longevity their coming from their own ability to smell what they are wearing, but never really consider that they are going nose blind to what they are smelling so you always get a huge disparity on longevity for fragrances, even when people compare EDT's and EDP's and Parfums.
I like my Eros EDT, don't get me wrong, but I really wish I'd smelled Eros Flame first. I was told it was basically a spicier version of Eros, and that person steered me wrong. I wanted a fresh scented cologne & when I smelled the mint and citrus of Eros, I was very impressed. After smelling Flame, it very quickly became my favourite of the 2. It's so much fresher/livelier/more summer-y, which is what I'd wanted in the first place.
Love both Eros for the summer time. Long lasting and smell great , better than Dylan Blue( still smells good). If I had to choose one I'd go with Eros Flame!!

Just ordered my first Eros edt as a beginner in Eros fragrance.
I’ve tried them all, they are the only ones from Versace that doesn’t do well on my skin.

Flame has taken the throne for me. I have a 2017 bottle of Eros that I simply adore. 12 plus hours on my skin. Also, I can confirm that the newer batches are indeed, neutered 😭 tried the 2021 batch from a friends bottle and it was gone in 6ish hours. A shame!

I have got blindnose for EDP version. Can smell it for an hour and that's IT. Fortunetly my nose has issiue with eros. Solid 8 h plus . I know bc I asked random person and this person confirmed . Must try eros flame. Seemed solid realase too. Take Care Dallas !!!!

I made my mind up a while ago. Flames is the one that works the most for me. The OG is great at the opening but after awhile the dry down and my body chemistry doesn’t work well for me. No real experience with the edp.

The alcohol concentration has barely any effect on projection at all except for maybe the first couple minutes. All of the alcohol evaporates within a few minutes of puting the fragrance on. Then just the oils are left.
I was thinking of buying the ysl y edp for a summer fragrance, but since eros edp is my favorite scent, I might go with the eros flame.
Naw get Ysl y Edp trustttttt Me . It's Long Lasting , Very Versatile , has it's Own Personality , Don't waste ur time With Flame it's just an Ok scent it doesn't have Personality it doesn't know what direction it wants to go in .it smells Incomplete. YSL feels Complete and Full and Well rounded and Personality thru the Roof a Women will Remember you .

Y edp to me is not a great summer scent for high humidity though.
the Eros EDP is just, majestic. it is not induce a headache like the EDT did, and also not as citrusy as Flame bcs i actually like the way minty apple in the original. it doesnt take long for me to buy the 200ml of Eros EDP. it is also working best in terms of my body chemistry compared to the other two.

Just blind bought the EDP. I am a bit older now and I am not so much a "clubbing" type of guy. I am looking for a bit of an older scent to attract the 30 year old women!

Honestly 3 of them have there on charisma .. but these days flame is on flames....weather here in abu dhabi is humid and hot flames still projects like a beast

@@user-lc8xt2ru5s no, i live in Bali where its hot and humid all day long all year, smell is fresh and spicy with orange opening, when it dry down it kinda settle like eros edp vanilla and minty scent, going to try the edt though, i spray flame 4 times and it stays like 8 hours, first 4 hours is strong projection, and later i can still smell it where i put it on
EDT opens up minty but EDP opens up creamy but dries down minty, to me atleast. Also EDP has a candied red apple note! I also find it louder than my 2019 EDT :D

I saw a video talking about this one I’m not too smart on the subject being I got into fragrances about a week ago but he said it was one of the safest ones to buy.
Doesn't last long , at least on my skin. Smell good Nonetheless and definitely a safe buy. Good for everyday scent.

I don't think it's reformulated, it still has that sharp mandarin orange smell on the opening, but macerating it will lessen that sharpness

performance is 3 hours max on me, lovely scent though
I personally love the original coach for men. I love the opening pear note. I would like it more, but the performance just isn’t there. 4-5 sprays will get me about 6-7 hours on my skin. I do get a lot of compliments from it though. Mass pleasing scent for sure 👍

Imo Eros flame is way better but its not as sweet. Both are classics and great but I prefer flame.

Because you're reacting to a video that came out a couple months before the parfum version was introduced.
With that said if you find the parfum too sweet that might also be the case for the edp (and quite certainly for the edt). But since you love the Flame flanker which is also quite sweet that might not be the case for you and also some people think the edp is more well rounded than the parfum (and others feel it's the other way around). So yeah, the best thing to do is just try it out and see if it suits you better.

@@jts4248 Yeah, the edt is the sweetest of the bunch so if you think the parfum is too sweet it's almost guaranteed you'll feel the same about the edt. Less so about the edp I'd say because if you feel it's more balanced than the parfum it will be less 'cloying'.
My personal order by rating would be 1.Flame, 2.both the edp and parfum (I guess I'd rate the edp just a bit higher), 3.edt.
And in the end the only one I actually use nowadays is Flame.

Man just bought a 3 month old eros flame from sephora and it does't smell strong or project, people around me says they don't smell it. Had a 1yr old eros 2021 batch and that one projects strongly. Any ideas?
Crazy…I just bought one from Sephora a couple days ago (flame) as well. Same exact scenario as you. I own 15 fragrances (all basic people pleasers)…and this is the first one where I’ve been super disappointed. After the citrus opening wears off, it sits real close to my skin and smells kinda like a bandaid. I wonder if this just doesn’t mesh with my skin for some reason.
@@DjJaySpring Such a disappointment because I really love this fragrance. I tried applying different body lotions, unscented , vaseline , adding ambroxin and iso e super and nothing works. And no I'm not nose blind because I can easily smell spicebomb extreme for hours just under my nose.
My eros flame 2021 batch is beast mode, but my eros edt 2021 batch doesn’t project well. Performance is getting better due to maceration I think but still lacking in projection. Longevity is really good though.
@@Thesilentwolf7610 I think being nose-blind can be just for particular fragrances...and I wonder if maybe it's just Eros Flame for us. I will get occasional small whiffs of it later on. But when I do try to sniff it off my skin....nothing

I have the EDP and I regret it. Too much sweet. I'll never re-buy a Versace (except for Dylan Blue), because also Pour Homme is a disappointment in terms of longevity and projection.
I'm the opposite, I absolutely adore the smell but since my one is very new (even got the eau de toilette written under it) it doesn't project as well. Im still searching around for something that smells very similar with the room filling projection it used to have.

I just picked up a bottle of the Eros EDT in 2023 and I can tell you the formula is DEFINITELY weaker. Does not project very well even off the spray and becomes almost unnoticeable after 4 hours, even on my clothes. Pretty disappointed.
If you are considering eros flame edp just get curve. That's what it smells like to me
I had all three of them. None of them pleased me so I sold them with no regrets.

ALSO Eros is Not that Serious The DRYDOWN is JUST TONKA let's all be Honest Guys . The Top Note of that Mint and Apple only last Like 30 Min . EROS captures you in the Opening and that's what I think Most are stuck on No One talks about that Tonka Bean DRYDOWN that's all ur left with . EROS is Overrated
