I think it has been reformulated as i see so many people say Flame is a beast but my EDT OG is stronger. I am sick of ending up with weak reformulations if you didn't happen to buy something the exact month it came out. ERGH!
@@Mitchcraft.it depends on how much time the fragrance has had to macerate as well, so comparing it to a new bottle really doesn't make sense. My Eros Flame for example, is far stronger than my bottle of Eros EDT but that's because Flame has had more time to macerate
I'm 56. And I like the EDT the best. I don't care if they say it's for the younger crowd. Wear it all the time. I do have Eros flame on order. I liked it in the store. We'll see
For me Eros flame is the best one, very pleasant scent and I really enjoy it. Honestly I haven't get any compliment yet but the scent itself I think will pull compliments someday although I don't care about compliments as long as I enjoy the scent of the fragrance
Eros EDP is the best in the line. It’s a smoother less cloying version of the original dna, despite that it’s a more toned down version of the original it still has great performance, and the ambroxan in it gives it a I nice modernness. It’s also the safest choice in the line in my opinion. In conclusion, it’s smoother than the original but still a beast off my skin. Price wise not sure if it’s the most affordable but I bought a 50ml for $50 back when it first hit discounters so not bad in my opinion 👍🏽

If I was a teenager I’d like it more, but I’m in my early 30’s and I feel the EDP just smells like a smoother version of the original with a bit of Ambroxan in the base. Either way, I barely wear Eros in general. I prefer JPG Le Male in the Navy because it smells like a fresh summer version of Eros

Last night I watched your re-review on Eros flame from a year ago whiles doing some comparisons on Fragrantica. This vid is right on time. Just started my collection a couple months ago, only at two bottles and plenty samples. Love your vids!
I'm a full on Versace fanboy. Flame was my least favorite, but it's really grown on me. Normally I love citrus into vanilla, but something about it just didn't vibe with me at first. As time has gone on I've come around on it more and more. EdP or EdT are still my favorites, but flame is right behind it. My issue with EdP is that it doesn't have enough differences and where it is different, it smells like so many other things out there. Going with just the edt and flame is a very safe option if you're a collector. Dylan Blue was my signature scent for a long time. It's a great fragrance. It can come off as a little bit middle of the road but that's also why I love it. It's got the tonka that Versace and Alberto Morillas loves to use, and is a really nice blue frag.
For the last year, when I have wanted to go out and wear Eros, I smell the EDT, I smell the EDP, and Flame, I've chosen Flame more than half the time. Madly underrated!
eros was always a very lemonish scent which i really hated on.Until i tried flame which now is my favourite fragrance in my collection along withl sauvage elixir.In conclusion if you dont like the og eros go and give a try to eros flame you might fall in love with it

I've got Eros Flame and Eros Parfum. And I must say Eros Parfum performance and projection is crazy for at least 12-16 hours. Eros Flame performance is too long for an EDP 🤦♂️ it's by far the longest lasting EDP I've ever had and that's what makes it amazing
Eros Flame lasts very long. The orange stays with the scent for many hours. Pretty incredible fragrance. Very strong yet pleasant. My only fragrance that competes with it is Bentley Intense which is a beast mode and amazing fragrance.
I have the original and Flame and prefer Flame, both of them are great though. I'm 40 and I know they're supposed to be more youthful than that, but I don't care. I do want to try the parfum though.
I has the Original EDT when I was 16. The formulation was a frag on my skin that could be smelt from far away. The newer and flankers just haven't had the same effect. But I wouldn't wear Eros now, I feel like it's a late teen fragrance.
I have them all. EDT is by far the best. I'm 55 years old. I get hit on alot since I started wearing it. Before it was a hit or miss. I had no confidence before I started wearing it. The best part is when I'm sitting in a chair, and a lady sits beside me. Not long she will start getting closer to me, and then ask me what kind of cologne I'm wearing. It's a conversation breaker.

I’ve really only had experience with the edt and the edp. Both are awesome, but I’m going with EDP because it’s what I own at the moment 😎 either way, Eros is my most complimented fragrance.

In my opinion the new Parfum is what Eros should have been for last years, its the most modern, almost luxurious Eros of the line, gone are the scratchy sharp citrus lemon tree vibes instead you get seductive fruity-fresh and spicy-sweetness with elegant and smooth edges. If you still prefer the original scent profile, the EdP would be your best choice because there are rumors and third-party experiences that the EdT doesn't perform as much anymore and the EdP you could say 80% of the OG, 20% are giving it more depth, richness and smoothness.
The first time I smelled regular Versace Eros I remembered the scent from somewhere I just couldn't place it till I started thinking about AXE fragrances.The stuff smells almost exactly like AXE DARK TEMPTATION (the brown can)do a side by side comparison and see.Pour homme is the best Versace in my opinion,the only one I haven't tried is Dylan Blue which I'm betting is also a killer fragrance.

So do you still think it has been “nerfed” or formulated?
You should go sample them yourself to make sure, maybe he's wrong or maybe he's not but it's always best for you to smell it yourself instead of listening to others opinions
Just bought a 3.4 0z of the edt. It's still loud but seems like it don't last like it used to. Just my opinion everyone's nose is different and formulations aren't always consistent but I feel like I'm close!
I know this isn’t a line that has to deal with Versace, but I recently got the Jean Paul Le Male. It smells amazing. I also DO HAVE the Versace Flame. It smells very nice, subtle but mature in my opinion. Also love your vids. GS, keep up the amazing entertainment!!
I'd say le male is very similiar to the versace line!!! They both use lots of iris notes and Tonka along with amber, at least from what I smell. I have the dreamer, pour homme, and le male le parfum and they're all amazing! The dreamer is super cheap and layers so well with le male, same for pour homme and I'm betting eros would go well too. Try it sometime!
Eros Flame is my fav by far. It must be the chemistry with my skin, but when I wear it, I am so comfortable I don't feel I am wearing a fragrance (though I can smell it). I could easily be my signature scent.
My All time favourite is Eros EDT I first sniff in 2012 accidentally and I just fell in love with this fragrance I had EDP version but it’s not upto the mark to my nose so m going back to its original EDT version on next purchase❤❤❤
I have a 2021 EDT and there’s hardly any noticeable difference to my previous 2017 bottle. I do sense a barely less potent feel, but like 3 sprays instead of 2 does the same thing. No big deal.
I had initially bought the edt first and fell in love, then I tried the flame and for some reason I only picked up the original scent with just a tad bit more citrus, I do enjoy it but I still find myself grabbing for the edt, I don’t know if it’s because I have a biased opinion🤷🏻♂️
Great video as always Ashton ! Even if I do like EDP/PARFUM for their scent profiles, I would prefer EDT the way it projects and give compliments and attention tbh.
Tried EDT just didn't do it for me. Didn't see what all the fuss was about, but I DID try the EDP before I tried the EDT. So that may have something to do with it. Flame is real nice too. Haven't tried the Parfum. The EDP is probably my favorite cologne so far. Need another bottle!
I got the Eros and Eros Flame samples. I prefer the flame. They are actually very close when you first smell them, but the Flame has a noticeable lighter/less sweet opening.
For me the EDP is sweeter than edt, the dry down smells like vanilla cup cakes and the EDT smells much spicer. The EDP wears off pretty quickly on me too which I find weird because Eros is known to be one of the stronger fragrances but not on me. I love the Eros line regardless but I do wish it was stronger on my skin.
My absolute favorite fragrance of all time is Versace Eros EDT. It is what Eros's suppose to be, vibrant, loud, sweet and attractive. Flankers are more refined, but they're missing the point imho.
I blind purchased Eros a while ago. Oh I didn't like it at all. It smelled like "the typical perfume for men", one of those artificially made cheap scents you get from stuff like axe body spray at the gym. My preference is that there's a theme or a core scent to it - like grapefruit, vanilla, iris, lavender etc. I want to know what I'm smelling. Eros, I didn't know what on earth I was smelling, unfortunately. Just my opinion by the way!
I like Flame more than EDT... but I have yet to try EDP and Parfum. I have a few vials of the EDP on order, so we'll see what happens. Flame is really great, though. I'll buy a 6.7oz of the winner.
This is one of the only colognes where they actually decreased the alcohol content by 8% from edt to edp. Just wish there was less in the parfum, there still 70% like the edp. But I geuss 70% would count as parfum aswell.
@@numberoneballer2075 thats what reformulation can do to your fragrance. I spray sauvage edt 2021, 8 sprays before going to sleep like it is nothing. And i bought it from a dior website. Waste of money.
My two favorites are definitely flame and the eros eau de parfum... i love them equally, i cannot choose between the two on which one trumps the other at all 😭🤷🏻♂️
I love the original edt but for an older guy I think the EDP based on the original is more mature. Not overly Sweet or Overwhelming Smells similar to the original.
just picked up a full tester bottle of eros parfum for 50 bucks off a friend, i like it a lot more than edt which i also own. but i think flame is the one i want the most.
hear me out... 1 spray of some plain old eros.... 2 sprays of savauge dior.... these 2 scents complement eachother... people always ask what I wear. they get shocked when I say its actually 2 different colognes.

I was given a bottle of Flame by my girlfriend before I ever tried the others. Flame will always be my favorite of the line and I guess that's why.

Eros Flame is my fav by far. It must be the chemistry with my skin, but when I wear it, I am so comfortable I don't feel I am wearing a fragrance (though I can smell it). I could easily be my signature scent.
Got various different perfumes, Eros EDT is the one which gets me the most compliments.
My All time favourite is Eros EDT I first sniff in 2012 accidentally and I just fell in love with this fragrance I had EDP version but it’s not upto the mark to my nose so m going back to its original EDT version on next purchase❤❤❤
I don't own Versace Eros. If I want to buy Eros I will go with Eros Flame. Eros Flame gives pleasure for owner as fragrance for daily use in home.
I have a 2021 EDT and there’s hardly any noticeable difference to my previous 2017 bottle. I do sense a barely less potent feel, but like 3 sprays instead of 2 does the same thing. No big deal.

I had initially bought the edt first and fell in love, then I tried the flame and for some reason I only picked up the original scent with just a tad bit more citrus, I do enjoy it but I still find myself grabbing for the edt, I don’t know if it’s because I have a biased opinion🤷🏻♂️

Even if I do like EDP/PARFUM for their scent profiles, I would prefer EDT the way it projects and give compliments and attention tbh.
Wearing Eros Flame today. Definitely prefer it over the EDT, but haven’t tried the EDP or Parfum yet.
I honestly can’t tell the difference EDP smells like EDT but lasts much longer as compared to EDT. And boy it smells so beautiful! I got EDP
Tried EDT just didn't do it for me. Didn't see what all the fuss was about, but I DID try the EDP before I tried the EDT. So that may have something to do with it. Flame is real nice too. Haven't tried the Parfum. The EDP is probably my favorite cologne so far. Need another bottle!

I like to use eros flame at night, and imo eros parfum lasts the longest but has such a weak projection it's better to just stick to eros edp

I got the Eros and Eros Flame samples. I prefer the flame. They are actually very close when you first smell them, but the Flame has a noticeable lighter/less sweet opening.

For me the EDP is sweeter than edt, the dry down smells like vanilla cup cakes and the EDT smells much spicer. The EDP wears off pretty quickly on me too which I find weird because Eros is known to be one of the stronger fragrances but not on me. I love the Eros line regardless but I do wish it was stronger on my skin.
I just got a travel size Eros Flame. Great fall scent and I'm very happy with it.

Funny enough flame is what me interested in the eros lineup to begin with. I only have flame but love it so much looking to branch out
My absolute favorite fragrance of all time is Versace Eros EDT. It is what Eros's suppose to be, vibrant, loud, sweet and attractive. Flankers are more refined, but they're missing the point imho.

I turned down purchasing EDT because its lack of longevity compared to the others and some found the extra sweetness to give headaches
I'll always love the EDT the most. Flame would be second place for me and EDP for third.
im not a big fan of eros edt but flame was just an instant love for me the peppery/spicy touch offers so much more for me

It's Eros Flame for me..the Texas Cedar is top notch.
I blind purchased Eros a while ago. Oh I didn't like it at all. It smelled like "the typical perfume for men", one of those artificially made cheap scents you get from stuff like axe body spray at the gym. My preference is that there's a theme or a core scent to it - like grapefruit, vanilla, iris, lavender etc.
I want to know what I'm smelling. Eros, I didn't know what on earth I was smelling, unfortunately. Just my opinion by the way!
Eros Flame is a masterpiece to me. It's complex and interesting yet really well balanced
The dry down in eros smells like you came from high class lounge/bar I recommend flames all day
have both edt and flame, love them both
I like Flame more than EDT... but I have yet to try EDP and Parfum. I have a few vials of the EDP on order, so we'll see what happens. Flame is really great, though. I'll buy a 6.7oz of the winner.
I tried a mini splash bottle of Versace Eros edp. I think that was more powerful than a full size bottle
For the over 30 crowd Eros Flame EDP is the best!

This is one of the only colognes where they actually decreased the alcohol content by 8% from edt to edp. Just wish there was less in the parfum, there still 70% like the edp. But I geuss 70% would count as parfum aswell.
Edt batch 2021. Sprayed at 630am. Still got compliment at 430pm. Though i could not smell it on myself. And thought it was gone as it was refomulated.

My two favorites are definitely flame and the eros eau de parfum... i love them equally, i cannot choose between the two on which one trumps the other at all 😭🤷🏻♂️

My 2017 Versace Eros cologne had nuclear sillage.. longevity was about 2 days on my skin.

I love the original edt but for an older guy I think the EDP based on the original is more mature.

Eros Flame and Eros EDT are the best. The edp is too minty snd doesnt project that long on my skin.

just picked up a full tester bottle of eros parfum for 50 bucks off a friend, i like it a lot more than edt which i also own. but i think flame is the one i want the most.

hear me out... 1 spray of some plain old eros.... 2 sprays of savauge dior.... these 2 scents complement eachother... people always ask what I wear. they get shocked when I say its actually 2 different colognes.
