I tried Eros EDT and I loved the opening so much! The dry down towards the end made me feel a bit nauseous from the vanilla lol.
Versace Pour Homme is my personal favorite out of the house. Eau Fraiche , and Eros EDT are right there.

The dry down of the edp leans heavily on the patchouli, with a hint of vanilla.The downside of the edp is the lack of tonka beans, which is what makes the edt so great. Tonka and vanilla are a great combo. The edt also has no patchouli, which makes the dry down more woody. Flame is actually very interesting. After the madarin opening, you get that freshness of the pepper, with a gradual appearance of rose, which makes it so awesome, because few mainstream scents for men have rose. For me, the rose is the star of the show. In the background there is still that vanilla/tonka bean combo of the edt. So, if you like patchouli, get the edp. If you like rosy "fresh out of the shower", get Flame. If you like sweet and eventually woody, get the edt. I don't think the edp is more mature. The patchouli just makes it more "soapy" mainstream, and there is less sweetness because of the absence of tonka bean.

@@amex4453 I haven't tried them all during hot weather. The edt is great in hot weather. Always gets me compliments. My advice would be to go to a shop and try them on your skin for a day.

I have them all and I’m a little older and for me from start to dry down Eros Flame suites me best and gets complements and most importantly my wife likes it best of the three.

I don’t know about the other two, but Flame is extremely potent.
I have worn it in warmer weather and with four sprays it is still there the next day and pretty strong.
I feel it can be worn as an evening fragrance as well as her recommendation of a daytime one.
For those on a very tight budget, there is an inexpensive alternative to Flame.
For $12.99 you can get 3.3 ounces of Polo Club “Ignite” which after it dries down, smells about 95% like Flame minus the pepper note…it really does.
I love Flame.... it's wickedly bueno. I prefer Versace edp over the edt... the edp is much more richer to my nose and ah couple hours more longevity. Keep em coming Monika💪🏿💪🏿"THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
I've also noticed EDP to be longer lasting than EDT, in fact I'd say my EDT lasts about 4-6 hours on my skin, while EDP easily stays until the next day
@@ignacioandresadasme8553 always go for eau de parfum when choosing colognes. it’s oil base, other than eau de toilette, which is water based. sometimes it’s personal preference!

I just started getting into colognes and I just bought a Eros Flame and fell in love with it! They put the flame and eros toilete on me. and whole night later, I felt I could still smell flame more. While toilet eros barely smelled it had to look for it to get it, while flame was more noticeable even after hours with out a reapplied reason I went with this. But I might end up getting the rest later and some other pick ups. But yes crazy I'm just NOW getting into it, now that im in my 30s. I always had style, the chain the rings but I was missing this... I'm complete. ;)
I ordered a sample of Eros EDT a while back but I felt like it was too sweet for my taste. I found a gift set of Eros flame 1.7 oz with the shower gel and after shave at a Marshall’s and I bought it cause it was actually cheaper than just buying the same bottle size off discounters. Eros flame to me seems a bit more suited for colder months since it’s a bit more spicy and I imagine that in high heat it would probably be too overbearing.
All three smell and perform great. EDP is for sure the best for guys maybe 36 and up, EDT for 35 on down, and Flame is like a fragrance with just enough DNA to be like the half brother with unique differences to the other two. EDT was reformulated not long ago and isn’t as good as the first few years were. EDP is closer to the original EDT formulation i think (and based on my ownership of all three). EDP lasts for around 11 hours on my skin and maybe 2.5 to 3 days on hamper clothes. vanilla and citrus tamed with a mint melds into the dry dry down of ambroxan, geranium, and clary sage. the base notes of patchouli, and the woods with leather and vanilla help to balance the open and keeps the middle with dry down together as well. it is basically a mix of minty citrus, vanilla, and a coastal forest. shall i say flawless, bold and direct, engaging, and improves your handsome by at least 1 to 2 handsome points. Do maybe one on back of neck, one on a single wrist then rub wrists together lightly, one on each inner elbow where the bicep meets the forearm, front neck to get half on neck and half on upper shirt.

Man your words really tempt me to go ahead and bite the bullet on not 100 mil but 200 ml of eros edp. The way you described it feels like I should get this thing first in the morning. However I'm 25 will it still be good enough for me? As you mentioned it's for Guys 35 and Up. Should I still get it or not??
no the current edt is a better version than the original and its drydown is not as much as a musky/leathery smell

Yes the dry down is very sweet on my skin. Its a good fragrance and I enjoy it, I like buying a fragrance that most would say has ran it's course, and when the masses stop wearing a fragrance because it's not popular anymore that's when I start wearing the fragrance 👍🏾 I make my own rules!!! And my own decisions and I hope you do the same?

@@Abdullah-5576 , I don't have the Parfum, I have the eau de parfum. I have not tried the Parfum but in most cases the Eau De parfum gives a better balance IMO.

I wasn't impressed by Eros Flame for a long time because every reviewer didn't recommend it and always taught to go for EDT or EDP. Although I have never smelled it before! But one day at work I noticed a smell that was well-known to me but so much better and more intense, not joking...it filled rooms. I always knew where that person was because of that smell and so I asked for telling me which fragrance that is. It was Eros Flame, I couldn't believe it...That was the moment I changed my opinion and I had to get it of course. I owned the EDT for years and was always impressed but its red brother impressed me much more.
You want a better Eros DNA for every situation, every occasion and every weather? Eros Flame does the job, I will always reach for it because of beast mode projection, performance and compliment factor, MASTERPIECE! 🔥💪🏻

Flame with about 4-5 sprays is nice. 2 sprays and you will not carry the notes of the fragrance for long. It really dries down nicely. Not overpowering at all.

I havent smelled the other flankers. But i always go for the og. I got the refrmulated one batch 2021. Still great longevity and just a good projection. But the older versions were obviously a beast.
Longevity is ok, but projection is terrible. After 1 hour, it’s a skin scent. I do 10 sprays minimum.
I have all 3 but the Eros Flame works the best for me. Love the orange cream candy vibe 🔥🔥
PS. I’m in my early 40s… 😎 also the Flame can go Powdery when it is very 🥵 out

Alright, just today i sprayed both eros edt and edp on my arms, 2 good sprays, and here are the results. the edp projects harder than the edt and it lasts longer than the edt. the opening is the same (at least to me) but the edt does take it in the drydown. the drydown of the edt is pleasent and sweet, while the edp turns into something musky and leathery.

I got edp and up close I could smell it on my shirt after 15 hours, I got mine for 50 bucks 3.4 oz and that’s not bad in my opinion.

I've smelled the EDT and own it, and I've smelled the Flame, and I'm not sure how you're giving the EDT a 5 out of 10 for opening, and Flame 9/10 for opening. Maybe I have a different EDT batch or something, but it's opening is killer. Smelled the EDT first and then Flame and I can barely pick up the Flame's scent. Maybe I tried a bad batch of the Flame? I have yet to try the EDP, can't wait.

Edt might have been reformulated
In the beginning i didnt like Versace Eros. It was too loud and obnoxious for me but since it has been reformulated/toned down I really love Versace Eros EDT. I thought that the EDP was a bit redundant but after a few months i really appreciate the EDP. It's more versatile than the EDT. Flame is nice in the opening but the drydown is a bit boring.

The edt has some freshness and some green apple vibe that the edp doesn't have in my opinion. The edp is a bit darker and woody.
I sold flame bc I also found it boring but it gets the most compliments of the eros line

Whats the batch of your Eros EdT?
There are rumors that the Eros Eau de Toilette was recently reformulated or at least decreased in performance. The last time I had Eros EdT was a bottle I bought in March 2019 and used it up in Fall 2020 as I ordered the Eros EdP as an replacement. The 2019 EdT still lasted over 10 hours but not as long as Ultra Male and Stronger With You (14 hours+) for example.
Though, Eros isn't my favorite fragrance as said but the EdP definitely last over 12 hours on (my) skin.
I use Eros EDT and on my skin it lasts about 7-8 hours, and in the evening sometimes I can smell it on my own skin. So if I can smell it after 7-8 hours, people around me can for sure smell it.
You never talked about Versace eros parfum? I love eros flame
I think, the eros edt is made for "boys" who want to spread their charm to be more "wildly" and "fiercely" and are still looking for a suitable girl to be their couple, and to the eros edp is made for "man" who are already adult-oriented, who have a "calm" and "wise" character, and which of course has determined or has a "woman" (just one) wo will be his mate 😁😁.

Parfum doesn't always mean a better projection or longer lasting perfume.
For me, flame is a tone down to the original EDT version , isn't very loud and doesn't last longer than the EDT.

EDT has loud projection for about 1hr and after that it really becomes a skin scent and doesn't project that strong ( for me and late batches 2021 ) EDP on the other hand has long longevity and keeps projecting for at least 2hrs and more.

I have three of them, flame , edt and edp and would chose EDP over all, but I really love the smell of the Flame.
IMO The Flame and the EDP are the only ones worth buying the EDT as well as The Dylan blue has been reformulated and aren't worth a shit now.
And if I find in the store a 2017 batch of EDT is it worth it or is it risky?

edt has more character any day, and the drydown is what you wear and what matters. The opening lasts 5 minutes. People wake up
I prefer the edt over the edp or parfum versions. The edp is less fresh and more woody compared to the edt. Flame is amazing too!
