Very interesting bicycle, John. Mike Burrows is quite a legend in the human powered world. I'll be looking forward to your visit with the man himself. Cheers!
Mike Burrow's bikes are always so beautifully simple to look at. Your fan was very smart at the end. I hope you don't think we're all as well dressed as that.
Hi John Great to meet you last week, and to see your lovely WaW for real. Apologies for interrupting your filming. Keep up the good work on the videos! Best wishes Martyn C
hey John, could you tell us what are the hubs on the wheels? I am looking to build my own recumbents in the future and keen to find out every information i could possibly get. Thanks a lot for all the work you have done so far and are going to do - i am really enjoying your channel! Great Stuff! Thanks again greets Jonathan PS: when you visit him, be sure to tell Mike that we all absolutely agree about his criticism of the bike industry and especially the UCI - I am hoping to see some changes there in the future - wouldn't a open bike concept Tour de France on the same scale be quite nice - or maybe the HPV world Cup brought to us by you?
First, thank you for all of the interesting content you create, and seeing you riding around London brings back happy memories. A question then...why was it necessary to scoop out the foam from inside the Ratracer GT carbon frame? If it is the foam I am thinking of (polystyrene used for building wall insulation), then isn't it pretty light already? Does it soak up resin and become heavy maybe?
Love the whole series, thank you much. I already ate 3 peanut butter flats. Iam ready to party and everyone has attitude:) I would like to know how to machine that rear axle. That rear wheel is offset? John, your sleeping and the dang superbowl was just over with the whiskey river. Mine GOD john I would die over there, to cold and wet. Be in the S.W. desert a couple years.
Andreas Buron the tourist board have asked me to push the weather conditions in my Vlogs as they are hoping that crap weather combined with brexit will combine to keep the tourists away from London which in turn will keep numbers down :)
Don’t touch it...yeah I know that all to well unfortunately the last damage done to my WAW was by the mother picking it up by the nose she “wanted to see how heavy it was” that cause a bolt to become lodged ended up have to cut a pice to get the nose off. Until I can afford the $1000 for a new nose I use a bit of duct tape. It’s on the bottom so I don’t have to see it. Out of site out of mind. 😉

Cool..... meeting your fans! Pretty soon you and Stuart will be as famous and recognizable as Larry Varney! Nice show, Thanks guys.
You appear to simply "hover" down the road. Love the WAW with the hood on. Always an attention getter. Thanks for the video, brother.
I like the flintstone maneuver you used to get the bent going, same way I do it :). Nice bike

Martyn Crawford thanks for gate crashing the vlog, it was great to see you.
Nice review by the seats of your pants
nice ride out with you, can you do a video of Stuarts shop would love to see what he has in stock
TheWelshman50 yep no problem
velo-ads inbetween buying a Swiss drive scorpion or a ice sprint x with Shimano steps
TheWelshman50 both cracking machines.
I called in to see Mike at his workshop , discussing a recumbent I'm working on . His opinion was if Shimano don't make it then your wasting your time
Nice review! I like the intro music as well 😁👌
Amber 12 cheers 🥂
Cargo bike, the best! Sturmey Archer frt & rear. Easy to change a flat.
Pushyhog the design is ingenious

jonabub I'll ask Mike for you when I'm over there soon.
jonabub sounds fantastic, I'm loving the idea of a HPV world cup following the Tour De France 🇫🇷 route.
i just see a good recumbent for your portfolio, on gumtree and on 20" so keeping in line with your velomobiles ,swap your brompton. its in Dover

Yes definitely not necessary, but if you are into weight saving I suppose every little helps :)
Nice review 👍

Pushyhog yup rear wheel is offset, it's genius I'll ask him when I see him.
Nice... Do you remember what the wheel sizes were by any chance at all - it looked at first glance like 26" rear and 20" front, or is is 700c & 24"?
26/20
... enjoyed the vid, thanks :)
btw M5 is made in the Netherlands not Germany, slip of the tongue i guess :)
Pashley pdq for touring
"It's always wet and cold." you're not working at the London Tourist Board, do you?

VeloVloger what a nightmare, shame I gave away my old nose for my Waw. You could of had it for nothing.
Like if you think he should be SIR Mike Burrows.
