It always gives you some more light in your mind looking at Mike Burrows activities and ideas. He turns all upside down! I think, in a couple of years, nobody thinks front-wheel-driven bicycles are unusual. The windcheetah prooves this point of view for the inverse trike. Best regards.
Is there anything Mike won't strap to an 8-Freight? I love your uploads, especially when we get to see the underlying engineering. Multiply that interest tenfold for anything Burrows-related! Keep 'em coming.
Unless Mike's changed this aspect of the design since it appeared in a previous Velo-ads video, it has just the one outrigger (on the left) to keep the bike upright at low speed. Once he's going fast enough to streer stably, he retracts the outrigger.
5:06 I hope it handles well and doesn't get super squirrely at higher speeds but that doesn't mean I'm gonna wuss out and wear a helmet for the test ride! Neat build. The guy build a 'cannondale lefty' front end but made it a 'righty'.
he’s been designing bikes with one sided forks for decades. you’d be more familiar with his racing bikes if they hadn’t gotten banned for being too fast
I can't get enough of Mike Burrows, I would listen to him dawn to dusk! Thank you for posting :)
Persistence is inspiring

The training wheels are a nice touch. I don't expect it will win but it will be a good addition to the pursuit of speed at BM

He does love his 8 freight!! For the record, I do too.🙂
Hi there John, you look great John..
Mike still designing and innovating, the new "fork" is genius.

It must be so cool to know this guy, lucky you mate!
This guy knows what is fun, amazing :)
Sweet build!
The sudden appearance of training wheels was amusing.
Why am i only seeing this now??? No notifications:((
👍😁
There’s something wrong with RUclips- I keep mashing thumbs-up, but the counter only goes up-and-back. I know I must have clicked at least 50 times!
Don't give up ;)
Test flight without a helmet - now that’s confidence in your own engineering ;)
Did I understand that correctly? He has the front end set at zero trail? But why?
I won't speculate on Mike's reasoning, but in a previous Velo-ads video, it had zero rake and zero trail!
