i’ve been there in the same situation, i have an sr5 blazing blue truck and a dealership was giving me a good deal just to trade in for a higher trim trd off road, i was enticed and thought about it for a couple of days and even prayed for it. then i realized i love my truck we’ve been together through ups and downs and nothing wrong about my truck a love it, i wouldn’t trade my for some upgrades. thanks bro for a nice video, i can relate so much
I recent purchased a 2019 voodoo blue trd pro tacoma and a manual transmission, and it’s the first vehicle I’ve ever purchased and I love it! The off-road capability is incredible it’s the fox shocks make the truck ride like a cloud! But the absolute best part is it’s all under warrantie
Good video,I tried the SR5 2023 model didn't care for it I find the suspension was too soft in the truck would bounce around more than others,I found that all the SR5 were like this my favorite of them all is the TRD sport you got some decent features not Overkill and the suspensions a little stiffer which I like instead of the whole truck bouncing around when you hit a bump, it would be just the tires moving up and down not the whole truck, then I tried a 22 Ridgeline oh boy that got that Tacoma off the market for me, the Ridgeline is a little bit more money but holy cow what a difference the fuel economy is better the ride is much better the handling was better all the options and features were better and the dash was not all full of plastic and the doors it was soft touch material really good quality you felt like you were driving inside of a very expensive sedan very luxurious compare from all the plastic on the Tacoma, and I find that the Honda Ridgeline when you press the gas you went there was no hesitation faster and more powerful than the Tacoma even though I do like both trucks but I have to go to Ridgeline, whatever you do don't drive one believe me you won't look back. Just want to give you a little tip as a Christian when you read from the Bible try to read just the King James Bible it's the most accurate one all those other ones the words have been changed which changes the meaning in the book, have a good one!!
Thanks for your comment, actually the King James is not the most accurate! The most literal word for word translation in english is the NASB. Admittedly I'm not reading that here, but I believe my ESV is still held to 1 Timothy 3:16-17 in that it is God breathed.
Hello from new Sub! First time I come across your channel. I put in a deposit on a 22 Trd off road 2 months ago. It should be here in a couple of weeks. Look forward to watching your other videos.
Hello Issac, I had a similar deal presented to me for my 2019 TRD Off-road. I succumbed to the offer and put the proceeds on a new 2022 4Runner TRD Off-road. I am very happy with the4Runner and will never look back. Devine influence went into your decision so I am sure you made the right choice for your needs.
I have the same truck as you! Was on the same boat on debating on trading it. I just installed a set of a new AKKON head light. And got a trd pro grill.
I probably woulda accepted the upgrade opportunity I had been blessed with, especially if I was unlikely to afford a new one for several years. Great video though.
I had the exact truck as you except a 2021 in Magnetic Grey. I was able to turn my lease in early in order to get the all-new Maverick I ordered. What blew me away was the fact that the dealer offered me $1,000 over sticker for mine, despite having an accident in the history report! That's the market we currently live in. So for the first time in my life, I actually had built-in equity in a vehicle and used it to get most of my down payment money back on my new Ford Maverick Lariat, which I don't regret in the slightest.
The first brand new vehicle I ever bought was a silver 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport, and I'm still driving it every day. If Toyota ever releases the next generation 4Runner, I might be ready to trade up.
You made a wise decision I have a 2021 cement truck trd off road 4x4 6 ft bed I loved it I am keeping it for every man God bless you man… and say a prayer for me too
Awesome video, I completely agree with your mindset here and to be honest you never know the history of the trd, for all you know it has water damage. Also praying about it definitely opens up a larger perspective.
I’m got so jealous when I heard what you payed for your Tacoma. Im looking to buy a mid size truck now and keep it around $30,000 that’s at least 2019 with less than 35,000 miles and it’s impossible in the current market.
Hold out. I have a feeling the market will be cheap by this time next year. Or if you are willing to wait and don’t mind a low trim you could order one for 35.
@@AlphaShark Isaac, you are much better than Ben Affleck, when was the last time you heard of Ben Affleck quoting a Bible verse and doing awesome car/truck reviews while being humble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amen brotha wise decision beautiful trucks I’m about to pick up a 2019 TRD pro with 14,819 original miles for 39k hopefully I’m making a good decision.
Haha! I was just telling my parents that I get offers at school all the time, and now it's on RUclips! I appreciate the offer, I graduate next Spring. You can shoot me an email alphasharkpictures@gmail.com we can talk there.
I have a 2001 tundra, I wouldn’t take a 2022 TRD pro taco. Only reason for me is because I’d be downgrading engine wise. Would go from a V8 that has modified parts to a V6. You however, despite what you said I would without doubt take the TRD pro over the sr5 or srs whatever it was called. But that’s just my opinion, bless up bro
I glad you keep your original truck that God has bless you with. I feel the same way about my vehicles. I do all of the repairs to them, every time I get done repairing them, I just want to take care of them that much more. Because I remember how painful they can be to repair sometimes. My vehicles have helped me get closer to God through his helping through tuff times and appreciation for what you have. I think you should keep a vehicle if it is problem free or general maintenance issues. The time to get rid of a vehicle is when the maintenance costs yearly equal new vehicle payments for a year. Thanks!! for all of your great Bible verses and car/truck reviews. Here is a verse I wanted to share also: Psalms 55:22 NIV Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Isaac, how could you give up a black truck? Think about all the great reasons to buy a black vehicle. You have to get special wax, they show dirt, scratches and I guess those aren't really good reasons. You made a great decision on keeping your truck. Proverbs 3: 4-6
I hate to say this but if I got that kind of an offer compared to what I bought my tacoma for, I would probably accept it and go with a gas efficient car because of the gas prices right now.
Y’all can call me a troll if you want, but I don’t know how folks deal with these tacos. Underpowered minivan engine. Special needs transmission. Seating position perfect for an anorexic 11 year old girl. Price tags that would make Bill Gates review his checkbook before purchasing, even before everything went to crap. Ranger is a Much better option. Yes it is just as well-built and long lasting as a taco and much more fun!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as over-exaggerated as some may be. My concern with the Ranger would be how long that turbo holds up. I hope it lasts a long time! I genuinely do.
@@AlphaShark lol I’m just being dramatic. I did get an Included 20 yr 200k mile powertrain warranty when I bought my 2020 FX4 Supercrew Ranger, no additional cost. 2.3 Cleveland is a gem of an engine. Chances are Turbo will be just fine. Taco owners bout to find out bout dem turbos next year…
