Just watched this video for the third time and it never ceases to amaze me when I think about the workout you must get setting and resetting your video cameras. Loves Tacomas. Good job.
If I was working at the Color and Trim division of Toyota, I would insist that shade must be called "Smurf blue" 🤣 - Awesome adventure on the ridge, loved it! Proof that fun in cars can be had at almost no speed at all also! Stay Awesome!
This is probably one of my favorite reviews I've seen from you. I literally laughed out loud at my desk when you were playing with the rear window switch. Now everyone in my office thinks I'm a nut...but I digress. In my opinion, the Tacoma TRD Off Road is the sweet spot for this truck. I bought mine last year for around $34k, traded my F150 in for it...yeah it doesn't have JBL speakers or leather, doesn't have all the cool looking TRD Pro equipment (I did add the aluminum skid plate), but it does have a higher ride height, better off road tires, bilstein shocks, and it has MTS and Crawl Control. I think it's very close in terms of capability to the TRD Pro but for much less money. And I test drove a base model Taco and it doesn't even feel like the same league of truck. The base would be a great starting point for anyone who wants to build a rig from scratch though.
This is one of your very best reviews Sarah ! A lot of action and beautiful landscape to backup your driving comments all the while expressing comments about the vehicle performance. Arizona is a beautiful state and I see a lot of potential hiking in those hills and mountains. By the way your outide shots while driving were quite convincing on how steep the drive was (I'm guessing this is were you are using a GoPro). Thank you !
As she said, it's a lot of work setting up multi shots. Especially when we have to climb the hills and or get off the road to awkward stances to set up then return to the vehicle. And editing can take 5 times as long as it does to do the drives and field work.
@@SarahnTuned Wow!! that is a lot, well it shows. Hope you take the day off and relax on Memorial Day but looking forward to your new video! your doing great!
I don't know what was more fun, watching Sarah's eyes go from salad plate size to Extra large pizza pan size, or just the smile you get when get that Air Force swagger after doing reaching the top. Loved the video, Science Taco Sarah is the ultimate in pure OMG. Never seen anyone do a 9 point 3 point turn before. How is Mr Bean?

I have a 2005 TRD off-road with a small pulley TRD supercharger. It’s an absolute rock star and runs like a Swiss watch. I got the truck in 2004 and still have it today. I absolutely LOVE my Taco. This was a great review. Nice job.👊🏻👌🏻
I love Sarah's personality that has a combo of military badass and tech that's all wrapped in a beautifully girly package...not to mention her pretty brown eyes. Always fun watching her vids.
I believe the pro has a locking rear differential. A base model probably only has a limited slip rear end. That would be a worthwhile upgrade to a base model.
There's going to be a day that your next review isn't as good as the last, today sure as hell isn't that day. Great job, looked like a fun trail and you're looking much more comfortable in the dirt each time, speeding right through that learning curve! Glowing suspension nuts were a great touch. Sarah. Sorry about the superficial comment: I’m not a huge fan of makeup in general, but that lipstick-color/light in the driving portion is STUNNING with your complexion!
When I see the thumbs down count for your films, I wonder how anyone could dislike what you do & how you do it. Perhaps they just can’t help themselves being negative. The new pick up looks really capable and at only half the price of that Land Cruiser it looks a lot more practical too. Thanks for presenting yourself so alluringly. Tacoma reminds me of Harley Davison. They have seemed to kind of rested on their laurels and fallen behind in terms of performance. HD sells a lot based purely on brand recognition and so does Tacoma. Great review! love the offroading!
You definitely have it- that might be the best off road review yet and that’s saying something. It’s hard to get that experience across on screen but just watching your face and having done that I was getting a little tense myself because getting stuck or messing up the truck is no fun especially on camera and I know you would show us that really look like fun. I had a 2000 tundra that truck was unstoppable I would do things with that that I would never do with my Chevy truck I don’t know what Toyota does i’m just glad they do you’re awesome thanks for the fun john from MI.
Great video!! I have a 2016 TRD off road access cab manual. I can tell with certainty you make a better use of the engine’s horse power with the manual transmission. And yes I have taken my truck off road stock (serious and more of a technical terrain)just like I did with my 2000 stock 4Runner years ago. And yes I always modify my trucks but not too heavily because let’s face it 60% of the time will be driven on pavement if not more. It’s impressive to see a heavy modified truck going over obstacles but it’s even more impressive to see a skilled driver going over the same terrain with a nearly stock vehicle!
Nice video. Be mindful it to consider airing down a little next time as loose gravel can get sketchy...especially with HW tire pressure. Be safe on your future treks and good on you for just getting out!
Great review of an awesome truck. I still own my 2003 First Gen Tacoma and its still amazing :) The good old 5VZ-FE supercharged is good fun and still purrs with 235,000 miles. Cheers from Oregon.
