- Continuing with my Ruger PC Carbine build, I didn't have an ideal way to carry my rifle and after some research I figured out a perfect way to get it configured. Leveraging a couple of products and Q/D slings, I successfully and effectively found a great way to get my rifle perfectly setup!

So to add the spacers - Home Depot. Everbilt m4-0.7x70mm. Metric - class 12.9 screws did the trick for me. Game changer
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, it's been helpful.
Glad to help! Thanks for watching!
@@OuterLimitless2will the sling work on a regular pc carbine without the M-lock ?
@@M447DT ultimately yes but you'll just need the appropriate swivels or adapters
Hello!
I am really enjoying what you've posted so far. May i say that i think your approach is both unique and uniquely appealing in that not only are you, I would say, appropriately humble given your confessed somewhat novice level of F/A familiarity (which is 'refreshing'), but that you essentially 'think things through aloud', giving us all a window into the process of acclimating to new situations arising on the 'journey', both problematic and 'potential' (i.e., "What else might I do with this?") as newly discovered options present. I like this. And your engagingly almost interactive conversational style as well, which suits your 'Hi folks, welcome back into my exploratory think tank' modality.
But wait, there's more, hahaha...
I find the macho tacticool shtick where many channels start with a BLASTING AWAY! opener montage with the obligatory accompanying ear-crushing macho-heavy-metal music background soundtrack (SO cliché & passé 😒. And no, I'm not some 'snobby intellectual vegetarian wokester' wimp, I'm a retired cop and multi-modality Defensive Tactics Instructor so please, you Übermenschen clansmen 'Knights of the Wannabe S.O.G.s', don't derogate me on the basis of my distaste for tacti-posers, ok? OK.), something you've thankfully evidently eschewed, to be a real turn off. Thanks for skipping that 'me too!' wholly ridiculous de rigueure nonsense.
So... keep up the good work, no doubt your channel will grow as there is definitely a place for it, and thanks for taking us along on your exploratory expositions and practical experiments. And, in my own particular case, having just recently 'fondled' a Ruger PC9 at my local sporting goods store with a strong urge to buy it on 'impulse' alone, I now have all the more reason to consider acquiring it as I join you in considering both its charms and inevitable 'challenges' of ownership.
💁♂️In short: Well done sir, and a heartfelt thank you!
(from just another 'dumb copper', LOL)

Thanks a bunch...it means a lot. I decided before I started this channel that it would be my way to take people, through my vision, on a demonstration of what it is like to "get into firearms". All the different considerations and concepts that need to be carefully worked through. It's a confusing and complicated hobby sometimes and like you say, many channels intentionally try to make it look easy. I would rather shed light on what works and doesn't work to give people a realistic expectation...as I am in the exact same boat as 99% of the viewers. Learning...growing...experiencing...and all trial and error. I am glad to hear it's helpful and you enjoy it!
Thanks for this post. It was so helpful for someone like me who is new at slings. I also have that same PC carbine that you have. You're awesome 👌
Glad it helped! I tend to post things that have worked along my firearms journey. I figure others have the same questions!
Took my ruger pc and got me midwestern chassie system :) and THATS a lovley one i can tell u :)
I will definitely check it out...thanks for the advice!
Good job.
Thank you... Always learning!
I'm sure you can get longer screws. Very small problem.
Your better off with the shorter LOP. Take from this 6'5" guy with gorilla arms. I always tried to get the most comfortable LOP until I hunted up north in Canada and discovered how winter clothing can throw all your measurements off. A ballistic vest also needs the shorter LOP.
What optic are you using?
Why not sand down one of the Ruger polymer spacers so you still have the "perfect" size?
Do you have websites where we can find these add-ons including the sling
A belt sander will make quick work of it and it will be sanded flat
It’s a PCC. Why do you need a tripod, at all. Keep it simple, only essential items.
Idk if it's legal where you are but have you looked into the Magpul backpacker? I see you say a couple times you'll be using this to get out of where ever you are. Check it out if you haven't yet
I can definitely utilize the backpacker. I would absolutely consider that option!
It's good to get started. Get maybe one decent AR and maybe a 308 AR. A good lever action, good Glock pistol, a nice over under.. and everything is covered
And a partridge in a pear tree?🌳
I mean, seriously?
Sheesh.
@@davidatticus5179 dork.. this is from 6 months ago.. Anita Hill
@@davidatticus5179 nope
Midwest industries makes a much better one ck it out no change of pull three ports one on the bottom 45 bucks
Highly unlikely you only have this and a 10/22 lolol you have what looks like a gunsmith shop lolol
For rifles? Unless you consider a bb gun...
Gave a thumb up, but tooooo much talking for such simple content....
DON'T go tacticool.. keep things simple and enjoy the sport
My god it’s like watching Larry David give instructions, just get on with it man no need for the freaking drawn out explanations.
When you set up your sling remember the gun should always be carried in front not on your back. Figure it out
