Full Throttle Review, Six Flags Magic Mountain Launch Coaster | Most Underrated Ride at the Park

My top 3 at Magic Mountain are
#1: X2
#2: Full Throttle
#3: Twisted Colossus
I don't think this is a popular opinion, but yes, I like Full Throttle more than Twisted Colossus. For several reasons:
Premier lap bars are more comfortable than RMC lap bars. (RMC shin guards are too tight for me)
The hangtime on FT's loop is better than that on TC's stall.
The airtime over FT's top hat in the back row completely *shits* on TC's strongest airtime moments. FT legitimately scared me the first time I rode because the downward snap was so strong.
I really love the vertical brake run on FT, especially after that demonic airtime. It almost feels dangerous to be ripped from your legs and then thrown forward *toward the ground* that forcefully.
I'm a positive G junkie, and FT has stronger positives. (TC maxes out at 3.2 Gs whereas FT reaches 4 Gs)
FT is actually almost as long as TC in terms of prime ride time. (TC is ~60 seconds whereas FT ~53 seconds, breaks removed on both)
Whereas TC has a very long and boring lift section between the first and second halves, FT has a quick pause in a tunnel with sound and light effects that doesn't let your adrenaline wear off.

I far prefer RMC trains to Premier ones. I don't like the shin guards on the latter. I also like the larger quantity of elements on Twisted. Still like Full Throttle though!
Another Full Throttle fan!! I agree, although with your ranking almost exactly, except for me X2 and Full Throttle can switch depending on if X2 has working effects or not. Full Throttle consistently delivers a fantastic experience, and X2 can vary pretty highly depending on a lot of factors.

They definitely play with the gueste on this ride.
For me Full Throttle comes in at #5 or 6th best coaster in the park, and that's excluding West Coast Racers which wasn't open yet when I visited in late November 2019. I liked it best in the very back row (rather than any seat in the back car due to the hang time when it changes directions in between the last two launches). Thanks for this review!

At least they got another launch coaster this year.
Full Throttle's ride time doesn't actually seem that bad.
That's fair, especially if you include the stoppage. I just wish it did one more thing after the big drop at the end.
6/10. There was a great log flume there before. They removed the charm by removing the water and the trees, just poured a ton of concrete and build half of a roller coaster. When you look at before and after it's really a shame what they did in my opinion.
I never visited Magic Mountain with Log Jammer there. While I probably would have still preferred Full Throttle, I wish they could have added this coaster without losing the flume.

1:18 is the reason full throttle looks overrated to me
The reverse stall does have some hangtime but the mid-ride stop kills the pacing.
