The sausage that you ate is called Sai Ua and is popular in Laos and in Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai). In Laos, it is more popular in Luang Prabang and it was listed in a French-Lao dictionary in 1894. For the Khao Poon, you should try the one with chicken. Thanks for sharing your interesting video.
Those sausage they are also found in Cambodia and have it own style. And those noodle dish they look similar to Cambodia noodles dishes it look similar. But the meat look different and probably taste different.
Another record David my boy! 46 minutes and 11th to like the video bwahahahahahahaha! dang, doesn't take much to make me happy hahaha! Oh oh, this is still in Laos? But you're already on the plane for Japan earlier hahaha!
i’ve been to Laos for few times. Loving it. The people, the culture, everything is simple. Next year we planing to go back there. You hold the chopsticks look more professional then Wendy.😂. I love the way you do the video, keep it up bro. Aka Du Ma. Subscribed.
I feel like when it comes to Loas not many Vloggers have really tasted Loa food properly like not going to the right places watch some of Mark Wein's videos on Loas
You should not compare Lao and Thai food to each other. They are very different and understand where the food actually comes from. Other than that your videos are great.
"Thai vibes"??? That ain't no Thai vibes. Don't forget, much of the people in Thailand are ethnic Lao. Their food went with them, when their ancestors were herded and incorporated into the kingdom of Siam.
Laos food. The crown jewel of south east asia. Definitely the most underrated especially if you like spicy food.
Laos food is just a weaker version of Thai food
@@ThaiRoneyNah Thai food is usually more sweet which is why Westerners like it. Lao food much more spicy and savory, more strong flavors
Laos food looks good, can’t wait to try one day
Amazing videos ❤❤
You should stop by Cambodia also.
Is the utopia bar still raging !!! Down by the river ?

10:20 all you're missing is the mustard. A sausage goes lovely with green pepper & mustard, but you're off to a good start! 👍🇱🇦🐖

The Sai Oua is good with sticky rice 🍙 and jeow “chili paste/ salsa” The khao poon looks like fish khaopoon . So its only minced fish.

The baguette is common in Laos Cambodia n Vietnam from the colonial days by French. Aye bro are you allergic to peanuts.?? Lol
Not me, Wendy is though haha
In my opinion the best baguette “ kaojee pate “ in Laos is in Vientiane, Dongpalane street 👍🏻

Why the price of the food is so relevant when you are in a low wage country?
For context for viewers watching

Is that women your girlfriend or sister ?
100% his girlfriend. The body language she shows towards him is more cutesy.
I'm Lao, but that doesn't look like Lao sausage. It needs more herbs, spices, and fat.
